Splash Blue Seduction for Women

Overpowering musky and woody, not clean fruity. Blind bought this Splash Blue Seduction for Women based on online reviews. I love fruity fragrances so I had a high hope with this (described as a fruity floral fragrance with top note like juicy tangerine, black currant, pear and peach, and then floral base). However, it turned out to be an extremely musky and woody fragrance with a confusing top note (I couldn't tell which fruits are in it, pretty much like rotten smell). I find it very unpleasant and unnatural. And overpowering which few sprays could fill the whole room. I gave this to my colleague after just one spray. One of my worst blind buys.

I can't get past that spoiled fruit smell in the beginning. I don't know if my body chemistry changed again or I got a botched bottle because it smelled OK on the tester and my wrist. It smelled better on my friend who took it.

I got this recently and I really love this. It's quite simple everyday scent, but it's perfect for office work or so. It's fresh and sweet at the same time. This smells like eating fruits with sugar near the pool. This is what it reminds me of. Totally worth the price despite the fact that lasting power is not long.

Bottle looks like a cheap version of Michael Kors Island. But, that being said, the notes sound very nice to me. I may actually go in and give this one a sniff. I'll report back if and when I do. I love the Floral/Fruity's~

Very extremely fruity. Perfect for summer. Quite loud,but surprisingly smooth overall. Great bottle. Gorgeous shade of blue,with a nice basket-weave bottom. This is summer personified.
