The Icon Elixir

I'll break it down honestly, right below: * Smells like (my nose): marine, very fresh, strong lavander core is definitely there, citrus scents are mild, as well as cardamom, meaning you can nearly feel them, but they are still there. * When to wear it?: almost everywhere, even for some special occasions, it might be a good fit; very versatile, no matter if it is day or night. *Age for wearing it: to me it might be a good fit specially, for young adults (above 18) or any age above 18. * Longevity: first 30 minutes, sillage is scandalous, but it turns down almost absolutely after 2 or 3 hours; you may want to re-apply at least one more time during the da; considering this is an EDP and a so called "elixir" longevity may be a little bit disappointing if you're not familiar with Banderas's scents (none of them is popular for strong projection or longevity). * Blind buy?: for me, a solid yes. It is a fragrance easy to wear, mass-appealing and very masculine. I use it, and projection might be scandalous by the first 30 minutes, but after 2 or 3 hours, you can barely feel it on your skin and even clothes.

Can't believe this is only just on here, I've had this for three months or so now.. I looked on here when deciding to blind buy or not.. It's honestly like an extra rich version of dunhill century Blue.. Imo.. But I've really enjoyed the performance on this.. Not loud after the 1st hour or two then settles within arms length but the scent trail is about a mile long.. It smells like so many other blue types of semi aquatic sweet easy reach and perfect for work.. As with all sweet blues just go easy on the sprays in the heat. Smells nothing like the edp I haven't got the edt as too many said it was sauvage like.? I love the two I have and will end up with the edt too I'm sure.. Nothing ground breaking, people will think you smell good they just won't remember what that smell was seconds after walking away. If your on a budget you could do alot worse.. I have tons similar a sweet freshie with some light woods, some depth and a clean non offensive musky dry down.. For £23 I'm happy..

Another elixir Antonio Banderas fragrances are made by the house of PUIG so a huge company (JPG , Paco rabanne, Carolina Herrera) The Icon elixir is very solid. Great pressurised atomiser. Eau de parfum concentration There's invictus platinum on the top of reminds me of but I'd say it is really a minor resemblance Icon elixir is spicy with overall masculine body spray aura but it's done very well and has a good performance which is a huge plus For around 30$ for 100ml (I paid £27 on e-bay ) it really is a good solid purchase. I do like it a lot 🤔

Really good scent from AB. Better than the other previous Icons. Pleasently sweet, fresh and spicy from the top. Creamy and woody from the middle and the base. Fixing the notes. Top: cardamom, mandarin, ginger. Minddle: lavender, musk, sea salt. Base: guaiac wood, cedarwood, amberwood, The atomizer very high quality pressurized!

Very solid. Everyone I showed it to said it smells great. Sweet fresh a bit synthetic and masculine. Pressurised atomiser and it's 25-30$ for 100ml.

Update: For me, it is very similar to Armani Code Parfum but nuttier!

I just tried this in some grocery store that had a tester bottle out. Hey, you know... this one starts out quite bad actually, but soon takes a turn. So initially this is really heavy in the musk department. It's really *dense*, stays super flat on the skin (... common for musk overload), and is generally a horrible, chemical wall of an aroma. There's not much else to say about it for about 30 minutes, on my skin at least. Smelling up close gives me a bad feeling of a harsh, heavy chemical mess. However, 30 mins afterward something changes, and everything gels together much better. The scent smoothed out, and all the notes started working with one another. Albeit still smelling in that chemical and artificial way - you know what I mean, this is not top tier any way you look at it - it became a nice mix of fresh, sweet, aquatic fragrance with some fruits, spices, and salty vibes coming throughout. Still musky, but much more balanced. Pretty common, but surprising for €26. There are Middle Eastern fragrances in thar price that triumph this, but still... not a bad grab. Performance seems quite good - after 2 hours on my skin and shower after work, it's still on. So yeah, not a bad cheapie tbh. One thing to note is that I don't get nose blind to this - super rare with cheapies for me! But try to find a tester. These cheapies don't work the same on all of us. I have some scents that I prefer over this *any* day for the same or lesser price. Not the same but IE Turathi Blue = €21.20 in my place and it's multiple brackets and classes above this IMO :)

Cumple. Dura, proyecta, gusta Sintético si. Clon de un ADN tan conocido como Invictus si. Pero su toque marino/salado con ese dejo que parece oler a chicle cítrico lo hace un agradable perfume. Para lo que cuesta vale la pena. A mi gusto el mejor de su línea (el edt es hermoso en la salida y luego es solo pimienta, el edp tiene un aroma maravilloso que se pierde igual en menos de 1 hora y el attitude es a mi gusto demasiado dulce) Excelente perfume para verano y primavera. Versatil

I have no idea why this one is so difficult to find. Found mine on Amazon for $54, and for that price it is pretty good. If I had bought it for $30, I would say I love it. Overall it is a great fragrance. It is exactly what everyone else is saying (sweet, but not overly, marine, Invictus Platinum type of smell). Works very well on my skin, I end up smelling it 8 plus hours on my skin and clothing.

Nose Note #185 Don't know about closeness with Invictus Victory, but to me it smelled similar to OG The Icon, but better, making it another very far away rendition of Sauvage It's a leap better then The Icon and it's really likeable. Can make a all-year-round scent and "one for all needs" Another nice mens shampoo-type freshy, but that leaves a good impression

This is the love child between Invictus and Cool Water. Average not so freshie cologne. Perfect for warm and humid weather before a big thunderstorm. Salty, melony and bittersweet. PD: there ́s a lot of vetiver in the dry down so why isn't it in the notes? Maybe it's part of the salt accord.

Recently I really started enjoying this one. Nothing special, it's just does it's thing. Sweet, salty and aquatic. Longevity is pretty good on my skin, lasts easily 8h. For the pricepoint it's really worth it.

At the opening smells very citrusy after about 10 minutes it lost the citruses and became an Invictus Platinum type of fragrance. Overall its a nice scent.

Not bad at all, way better quality juce then some paid overly hyped synthetic messy, sucky dupes...👌

Got a 50ml but i'm not impressed. Smells like your standard body spray. I don't really get specific notes,smells kind of synthetic-like a shower gel. Good performance. The whole "Icon" line i actually do not like. The older classics from this house smell a lot better.

Managed to try a sample from a local discounter and to me it smells somewhere between Invictus and Sauvage. A bit boring to my taste (and pretty far from being unique), but it does seem to perform well - especially considering the price point.

I had first "loved" this fragrance, but after wearing it a couple of more times I really dislike it. It smells great for the first few minutes but then turns horribly sour and smells extremely cheap. I had to wash it off my skin it smelled so bad. Maybe its just a skin chemistry thing. 2/10 - Great opening, then turns sour and stinks

Not sure on longevity yet but for the money, very very nice. Very blue smelling so would work great during the day, probably spring or summer months. I got this for around $20. Smells like something you’d pay much more for. 8/10- excellent blue cheapie

It's like eating a cheesecake at the beach. The beach is good, cheesecake is good but cheesecake at the beach doesn't seem like the best experience to me.

Anytime I tried it I just couldn't figure out where to put it in my mind and whether I like it or not. Last time during the dry down I couldn't help but notice a resemblance to the nutty nature of Armani Stronger With You, but a bit more aquatic. Other times it was just sweet, salty and quite harsh. Apparently it's supposed to be a clone of Invictus but I haven't smelled that yet so I can't compare it. Not sure why people say it's for summer, it would be cloying in the high heat. To me it's definitely something I'd use from fall to spring wearing it indoors during winter, as it's probably a bit weak for the cold weather. It's not bad at all, but I can't find anything interesting in yet to actually buy a bottle.

Really wanted to love this . Out of the icon series so far this is by far the worst one , has a really horrible sage twang to it and fades in two hours. Amazing mirrored bottle though. The icon attitude is coming out soon and could be better than this or worst. Most AB scents are cheap gems but some just don't perform well and smell really cheap. Quality control does not seem a priority at puig just cash grabbing.

Initial spray smells like Paco Robanne Phantom , as it dries down it smells like Invictus Platinum. Longevity is bad, would recommend just spending the money to get Phantom or Invictus Platinum

Un olor super fresco perfecto para cualquier ocasión pero no dura mucho y su proyección a ras de piel.

To my nose, it smells like a fresher, more aquatic take on Valentino Uomo Born In Roma.

All of his fragrances have garbage performance. Can’t they make ONE decent one?
