This reminds me of a drier and more dense version of Maison Lancome's Oud Bouquet. Strangely this doesn't contain Oud but it definitely has strong woody nuances, layered on to a dry rose and some bourbon vanilla. If Oud Bouquet's saccharin sweetness gets on your nerves, then this might work.

A curious formula with an attar like structure full of flowers but smelling like creamy smoky oud.

80% Arabian tonka + 20% shagaf or oud bouquet

Smelling this from a Bloom sample - one of their Unisex hits of 2019. Wow, a total blast of dense, heavy floral from the get go, wrapped in a campfire burning very close to the flower beds. The initial blast is a second or two of alcohol and then all roses to me - sweet, powerful and pungent. As it settles the floral note stays 'rosey' but a little more mixed. The smokey note dies down to a background scent of embers with a slight earthy note of something darkly organic but not unpleasant creeping in. Lasted on me noticeably 3 to 4 hours, projection limited but one you will go back to smelling throughout the day and hope someone else is smelling off you as the night creeps in when it is a gentle skin scent. Personally I LOVE this, though that initial blast of rose had my headache receptors twitching.
