Pink Sugar Sparks

I ordered this perfume based on the numerous positive reviews. I was very excited to receive it, as I very much adore FlowerBomb but can't bring myself to spend the $150 for it. Well, at first delightful whiff, I knew this one was a winner. It smells almost exactly like FlowerBomb, but there are a few distinct differences. To write an honest review, the first day I wore only the Pink Sugar Sparks. The next day I wore Sparks on one arm and FlowerBomb on the other to compare notes throughout the day, plus longevity and sillage. Both scents have similar sillage that is heavy for the first fifteen minutes, and mellows out to a moderate sillage for the next several hours. They also both lasted throughout my work day, though Sparks still had a sweet vanilla scent clinging to my skin after FlowerBomb had given up the ghost. The most obvious note-difference is the intense vanilla and coffee in Sparks, though this difference wasn't noticeable until the dry-down of both scents. I actually prefer this, as I prefer gourmands to florals. Both scents have a strong patchouli opening, followed by spicy floral mids. The vanilla comes out after the scent has been on my skin for a while, and it is sweet but not cloying. Flower Bomb stayed a floral in its final song on my arm. Sweet, very pleasant, but I still like the vanilla better. Between the similar sillage, the almost identical opening, and comparable longevity, I highly suggest Pink Sugar Sparks if you are looking for a less costly alternative to FlowerBomb. At $22 (Ebay), it's a fantastic buy, even on its own merit. I prefer it to FlowerBomb and will definitely be buying more when I run out.

AWESOME! Blind buy...love at first sniff! Will definetly be draining this bottle. Although I might save it for September and October because it seems more like an autumn scent. This is probably the most successful blind buy I've ever had. And honestly, it was literally a last minute discovery and add to cart! I'm so pleased. Now, for my description. I honestly don't get any of the opening fruits, citruses, or tea. It goes straight to a yummy and scrumptious deep dark sweet vanilla( which actually smells more like tonka to me), a syrup sweetened cafe latte, and just the slightest hint of perfectly done patchouli. Maybe a hint of orchid and musk. Kind of reminds me of a sticky sweet musky toffee? This definitely is along the lines of Bond I Heart New York, Flowerbomb etc.- except this is extremely inexpensive and satisfying! It kind of reminds me of Rebelle too, but with its opening and drydown morphed into one very nicely balanced scent. This is an A+ in my book. If you like the fragrances I mentioned above, you will probably like this too. Giddy smiles for Sugar Sparks :)

I agree with the many other reviews stating that this smells like Flowerbomb. It is not identical; I find Flowerbomb to be heavier on the patchouli and floral notes. The green tea note that makes Flowerbomb a bit refreshing is not present in here either. I will say this, the longevity is almost or maybe just as good at a fraction of the price. With Pink Sugar Sparks, I get a vanilla fruitchouli, with raspberry being the fruit that stands out. It also has aspects that remind me of Jimmy Choo EDP. Perhaps the toffee and patchouli mix in Jimmy Choo is resembling what is the vanilla, coffee, and patchouli mix in this one if that makes much sense. Overall, I really enjoy it. The longevity is excellent for the price or for any price really; I cannot stress this enough. I'm not a huge fan of the original Pink Sugar; I don't think it's a bad scent, just not my style, but I sure do enjoy all of it's flankers. Strange, I know. I do think if you are looking for a budget friendly fruitchouli or gourmand scent, Aquolina is definitely the best place to look.

Beautiful scent. I owned Flowerbomb in the 100ml bottle and wore it all thru last fall/winter. I loved that scent but wen I went bak to repurchase, i saw that the price had gone up about 20-30$ (not sure but I kno it wasn't that pricey..I think I paid 130 for the full sized bottle n now it's 150). Though 20-30$ isn't that big of a difference, it is enough for me to not repurchase. I couldn't spray too many of spritz's of Flowerbomb without feeling like passing out. It can become much to heavy. Pink sugar sparks DOES smell like Flowerbomb without the extreme heaviness ( which sometimes made me feel like an old lady). PSS actually opens up with a brightness that Flowerbomb seems to lack for me. Then the dry down is jst warm sweetness that is most reminiscent of V&R's Flowerbomb. I am going to repurchase this for sure...n have a few backups too. Btw I work in a hospital n work 12hr shifts constantly moving n running around. After 12 looooong hectic hours I can still smell that warm sweetness that is oh soooo comforting to me.

I got this in the mail today and I have to say I really, really like it. Actually I love it. On me it's a completely wonderful mix of vanilla, coffee, patchouli and musk. And a funny thing is, a couple of days ago I smelled this amazing scent on one of my sweaters and I immediately started to try and find out what it was since none of my perfumes smell like that. And the very same second I sprayed this on me I recognized it! It was the scent I'd been looking for. When I think about it now I believe the wonderful smell on my sweater might be a love baby of Flowerbomb and Gold sugar, which I own and adore. However, Flowerbomb can be a bit sharp to my nose sometimes and the drydown isn't as lovely on me as on my sister who rocks it totally. (And finding a softer version of Flowerbomb was actually the reason why I decided to blind buy this). This really is a softer version of Flowerbomb to my nose and I've honestly never been more satisfied with a blind buy as I am with this! LOVE <3
