Had this for about 4 months and kinda in the same ball park as the person below me i have liam symphony of oud and velvet musk now with this being in the same realm of gris charnel without me actually smelling it I dont agree with this isn’t anything near it the iris and fig are clearly there , then a coconut accord comes into play maybe the iris smooth and buttery with the tea making it really creamy a little vanilla and spice from that sexy cardamom and MAN is that leather good its not like a suede but like car seat leather and hay like with the creamy tea in the background this stuff last pretty long as well tbh the biggest twist i have but i do enjoy (symphony of oud )more even though first impressions of that one reeked of nail polish remover it finally calmed down to being super good dusty like as well strong black tea with coconut Liam grey is my least favorite of the 4 being duper dosed with vanilla and sweet just like velvet musk but velvet musk doest take a turn being sweet and musky with a lot of tea and best compliment getter, where liam is kind of liner too me If youre looking for something a little more dressed up i think this is the one for-sure truly a great scent for the price and scent profile 10/10 NOT A 1FOR1 of gris charnel extrait or the original this is clearly a twist

My personal take..... This is a BEAUTY. Gris Chanel is a huge part of this DNA (I have not tried the extrait), with less sweet, more spicy fig tea. There is also a good bit of leather in this, which reminds me strongly of a Tom Ford style leather. This morning it was around 56 degrees Fahrenheit and raining, and it couldn't have been a more perfect fit. For the $35 this cost me, I might just get a backup bottle, even with this still 90% full. Projects a close bubble, but is very potent within that space. With its notes, I wouldn't want it any stronger, and I like to have a loud presence. I put 6 sprays to my neck, 2 to the elbow ditches, and 2 to my shirt and flannel. (It was raining pretty hard, and I knew it would wash some off.) 4 spray to the neck and one to each elbow ditch would probably be perfect for me. If I consider it for very specific situations (like today's weather), I would rate it a 10/10. Overall, have no problem giving it an 8/10

Such a beauty! Perfect unisex Gives Gris Charnel Extrait vibes, but it definitely has its own identity. For me, it’s way better in scent and quality than all the other popular perfumes inspired by that genre. Decent performer — not a beast, but well noticeable long lasting and a real compliment-getter. Prominent notes to my nose: Fig Cardamom Black tea (Even though it’s not listed) Tonka bean Earthy patchouli A little iris A tad leather Classy, smooth, and elegant — sophisticated but effortless, like you didn’t even try. Works well in any season and for any occasion when you want that refined, polished vibe with some sex appeal on you. Love this one a lot!

It's the first time that a perfume turns from hate to love. Today is exactly one year since I received a sample for this wonderful perfume. My first contact with it was disastrous, it was a mixture of everything dark and gray on this planet that can fit into a perfume, I left it and listened to how people liked it and I couldn't believe it... I tried to give it a few more chances and still nothing... but today I take it to smell it and I can't believe that the perfume has changed so much, this is not the same perfume as it was, I'm blown away. Give it a second chance, it really deserves it and it looks a lot like Gris Charnel since I can compare them.

First impressions, leather note in this is wayyyyy to strong. i’m a big fan of liam grey but this js ain’t it. i’ll come back in a couple weeks as my opinion might change, but right now this smells like a cardboard box with a pair of cowboy boots in it. Edit: It still smells like a box of cowboy boots but in the best way possible. The leather definitely isn’t as strong and i absolutely love it. probably the first fragrance with leather that i’ve smelled and enjoyed. my friend has liam grey and you definitely don’t need both but this one is a little better for a man because of that leather note, and liam is quite a bit sweeter.

An extremely lovely fig scent, the BDK profile but with a darker twist. It’s not as leather forward as I’d hoped, I love leather frags with a passion and yes it’s darker because of the extra leather nuance put into it. It’s not animalic or overpowering whatsoever, but scent is subjective and I’m just one opinion. I find this to be an absolute cold weather beauty and brings a great name to fig scents 🙏🏽 longevity was really good on clothes and sillage is moderate. Just received Arabiyat Prestige Al Noor 2 days ago and I was surprised because it's 90% similar to BDK Gris Charnel Extrait. I didn't smell leather note in it, I still smell the sandalwood in Al Noor but it is less Sandalwood feeling than Gris Charnel Extrait. Opening is a blast of spicy fresh cardamom and black tea, after 30 min the Irish and Fig has appearance. On the dry down, the fragrance is so well blended, it's woody, spice, touch of Irish make it so mysterious and luxurious feeling. Overall 9.5 of 10. I have to macerate it to see how good it will become

It s not a safe blind buy. I personally love it! Smells very niche, spicy black tea ,dark ,mysterious,super sexy ,masculine leaning but totalul unisex IMO ,at full potential on colder days. It smells exactly as the notes presented but missing the black tea accord. It's so well blended and balanced (the cardamoms freshness ,the spicies ,the earthy, floral ,woody notes omd sourrunded by slightly vanilla-dates sweet accord that no specific note comes in the top.Absolutely beautiful.

Take BDK GCE, tone down the cardamom a bit, add a touch of ombré leather and you get Al noor, very masculine 8/10 Ok so this has become my daily scent, it is extremely pleasant, initially it has a distinct Tom ford leather style during the first minutes but now that leather is in the backseat it gives more depth to the scent, definitely not 1:1 compared to the bdk one but it’s extremely close, with a leather twist, amazing signature scent if you enjoy the DNA

I would start by saying that the price reflects the quality, but it is well blended enough to make it seem higher quality. It doesn't give you what it is capable of after opening. You have to wait a few weeks for it. Gris Charnel Extrait definitely comes off with delicate leather tones. To me, the fig/sweet floral/iris note seems a bit like JPG marshmallow, but it is absolutely enjoyable anyway. The longevity is okay. It is worth the price/value ratio.

This is such a smoothly blended fragrance. Easy reach when you don't know what else to wear or just want a relaxing scent. Has a great cocoon-esq scent bubble. It does live close to the skin even if you overspray(which I do) but because it smells divine, I'm ok with that. I have all the BDK's and Liams, lol. This one is very similar but easier to wear. All the curves are rounded in this one. Great value, great fragrance!

Fastastic buy.. 25$ on sale for such a good dark winter scent. Out of the box lasted over 10 hrs on clothes, projection no idea.. Didnt test the OG but this smell amazing.. Tried this and French avenue Sable on both hands, liked this one and bought it. Nutmeg is little strong in the opening for around 30 mins and then I started to enjoy this more and more...7 sprays and lasted over 10 hrs.

Smells very niche. Quality is insane. I agree it is very close to Gris Charnel, but the opening and first 30 min are distinguishably different. People say it is close to Ebene fume but I never smelled it. I like Gris Charnel, this seem a like darker, it might be a little stronger on leather and iris notes vs BDK

The notes on this page aren't correct at all. The Top Notes are: CARDAMOME, BLACK TEA. FIG FRUIT Middle Notes: IRIS, VETIVER, CISTE, LABDANUM Base Notes: SANDALWOOD, VANILLA, TONKA, PATCHOULI Here, the iris, vetiver, and labdanum blend together perfectly to mimic a deep, smooth leather.

I get that people smell a harsh smell on first sprays/wear, but that is usually the case with these type of fragrances. It didn't take long. I sprayed and then let it sit for 2 weeks and the fig became prominent and the leather smoothed out. I love this scent like a fat kid loves cake

Honestly one of my favs in my collection. I love Gris Charnel but struggle to make that level of purchase. This scent stuns and has yet to let me down. It layers so well with other lighter scents too.

First tried a decant of this and absolutely loved it but having the bottle now I guess I need to let it macerate to reach its full potential but man do I love this smooth masculine bomb

Love this. Spicy, peppery, dark, sexy, masculine. I can smell hints of Halfeti in here as well. Cold weather, date night scent. wow. Lasts forever on clothing, too.

Imagine BDK gris charnel extrait + some touches of ombre leather in the dry down. Not a clone imo (only ~70% similar to the BDK), but still phenomenal. 9.9/10 imo

Such a beautiful scent. The opening is leathery and spicy. But the dry down is something else. It’s like a sexy chocolate vanilla. 9.3/10
