Teriaq Intense

3 sprays. Let me repeat....3 sprays. You dont wear this to smell pretty...you wear it to influence what someone thinks about you. You will smell interesting. I went outside and pumped it 15 times to get ready for some masceration. My husband had opened the windows unbeknownst to me and some wafted in the house....and stayed. When i walk outside past the corner of the house where it wafted....it stayed. It's mysterious, its masculine....it lingers on the brain. The snake is appropriate....it slithers and changes....in your head. I was trying to explain it to my husband...he to took the bottle and sprayed himself before masceration has begun! But it works! I think I will let him wear it. Not a blind buy. Revised 5/14/26 - I decided to wear it at home all day while doing chores. A blast of bergamot and saffron(a little disconcerting) then the saffron stays and melts into amber and cinnamon. It stays consistent for hours...when it hits the 6/7 hour on your skin you begin to get the warm vanilla. It keeps a hint of the bergamot forever on your clothes. I love this. Its warm and intimate. She's not a pretty girl, she's a handsome woman. Its so different....so good on skin. The intent is not punchy at all...it starts with a throaty laugh and develops into a warm knowing smile. She cannot help it if she is 6'1, is shaped like a coke bottle, has thick hair to her waist and can play chess! This may be my winter signature. Im expecting wonderful developments by the time i pull this one out this winter. 6/5/2026 - I have not sprayed this since 5/14. I spray my days choice perfumes in one room every morning before i dress. Guess what I smell every morning?! She is in a box mascerating! The nuanced cinnamon spice of it all! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

It’s as if Quentin Bisch wandered into the Lattafa lab, looked around at all the cardamom, saffron, oud, and said, “You know what this needs? A bottle of spiced rum and a velvet smoking jacket.” Honestly, it’s like finding a Michelin-star chef moonlighting at a Topanga Canyon gas station taqueria, and somehow the tacos slap harder than Nobu. This is the man behind fragrances that cost more than rent in some cities. I write that as someone who willingly jumped at the opportunity to pay $520 for Purpose 50 a few months back after one whiff. You meet Teriaq de Lacrima Obscura Intensia on a random Tuesday at a sketchy Silver Lake wine bar that only serves things labeled "red" or "white." He shows up in a velvet blazer that smells like plum liquor and Palo Alto startup ambition. First impression? Smooth. Suave. Like he’s watched American Beauty too many times and quotes it unprompted. The opening is charming like he brought you flowers that were clearly bought at a gas station. Still, you’re intrigued. By the middle of the night, cinnamon kicks in. Hard. He's telling you he “used to study philosophy” while swirling his drink like it’s a personality trait. You’re not sure if he’s mysterious or just narcissistic. Probably both. Then comes the drydown with the amber, tonka, and a hint of regret. He's now talking about crypto and saying things like “society isn’t ready for a man like me.” You realize he smells amazing but might also live in a rented Alpina XB7. Is it love? No. Will you text him again? Probably. Does he linger? Oh, absolutely. He’ll still be on your dress shirt collar three days later, and maybe in your thoughts. He's cheap, dramatic, and oddly addictive. Just don’t let him meet your parents.

Teriaq intense is such a gorgeus fragrance. The smell makes me think of a plum syrup more than a plum liquor, it's a type of sweetness that reminds me of the density you feel when tasting maple syrup. It also has this almost suede leather-ish (but not quite) back bone which I suspect comes from the saffron accord interacting with the amber and / or the bensoin. Very irresistible, likeable, and unique, I love this scent. I've seen some influencers and some voters here saying this is similar to Khamrah, idk what they're smoking, ignore them. This fragrance is it's own thing, doesn't remind me of any other fragrance I can think of. Its blend gives upper echelon designer quality imo, and also the juice itself reminds me of Mancera in the sense that it's very oily, when you spray it on skin you can see that oily shine which more often than not correlates with great longevity. I need to test projection by having a friend wear it, it seems to be strong though, since I keep getting whiffs after 4 hours of applying it. When I got it I applied one spray on my wrist, and after taking a shower the smell was still on my skin. I think I'm in love with Lattafa as a brand, they've got a lot of great fragrances for ridiculously great prices. Update on Performance: It's really really amazing! During the Super Bowl, my brother wore this, he applied it a little before 1:00 pm. After him being a bit under the sun in the backyard, smoking some cigarettes, and being near the grill, I could still smell Teriaq Intense on him from like 3 meters at around 8:00 pm, after that I stopped paying attention bc I got tipsy from drinking, but I bet he still was projecting after that.

Man here... The bottle says unisex, but I would say this definitely leans feminine. That being said though, one day I was at my mall, seen the bottle and sprayed my left arm, along on the right arm I sprayed a creed aventus cologne dupe that I smelled a million times over. When I smelled the lattafa spray I didn’t even think it was on my skin, to me, it was lite. Fast forward an hour later I get getting these whiffs, and damn, they smelled incredible. I thought maybe it was somewhere in the stores I was at, and maybe they were using something for the air to freshen it, as silly as that sounds, and it wasn’t until I realized the smell was coming from me, my left arm. This stuff shines in the mid/drydown. The opening is bit of an alcohol blast of sorts, but boy when that alcohol wears off.... It’s incredible. I wore this on my date night with my girlfriend and her sister, and the first thing her sister said to me was “oh wow, you smell divine” what is that? I tried to explain the Lattafa brand to them, they couldn’t understand it. In some ways this kind of reminds me of Goddess for women by Burberry, but mainly the vanilla accords, but it’s not that. To me the notes that shine are the Amber, Vanilla, Plum, Tonka Bean, and the Benzoin. I did make a mistake and spray too much of this stuff on one day and I won’t do that again. Put 3-4 sprays on areas where your heart beats, and watch the compliments roll. Some days I wear a shirt I haven’t washed after wearing this stuff and it’s even better.

I recently became interested in perfumes with plum notes after reading rave reviews about the now discontinued Tom Ford "Plum Japonais." I have never owned a fragrance with a predominant plum note, the exception being "Black Orchid" Tom Ford, which is in a class by itself. Sebastian "The Perfume Guy" did a deep dive on plum fragrances and rated Teriaq Intense (and Teriaq regular) as "okay" plum fragrances. Sebastian said, "His preference would be to combine Teriaq with Teriaq Intense for a closer version of Plum Japonais." I'm not into purchasing a number of fragrances for a "layering" effect. That's just not my style. I have no benchmark for plum-based fragrances, so I'm learning. Seems like Tom Ford's discontinued "Plum Japonais" was the gold standard for smoky. unisex, plum fragrances... I actually am surprised at how much I like Teriaq Intense. The opening is a semi-medicinal, strong, boozy, plum-liquor like accord, akin to plum wine, or semi-sweet red wine. The fragrance develops with notes of benzoin, some amber, a bit of tonka (I suppose). Teriaq Intense's dry down is smooth, creamy, dry and a bit woody. I do not find Teriaq Intense overly spicy, nor is the perfume very sweet (to my nose). I like Teriaq Intense a whole lot but I have zero fragrances to compare it to. I have a few additional plum-centric fragrances arriving. So, we'll see how it all goes...
