Bahiya Ruby

The notes description on this fragrance is not entirely accurate as it has many fruit forward top notes and base notes! It’s incredibly fruity, but in a mature way (hense the rum note). It smells like a sangria!

First impressions after a full wearing, and wearing it again while writing this: This fragrance is like candied fruit punch mixed with red wine. It's a little soapy. Textured like silk. Each waft of it presents as red wine and fruit punch with candied blood orange, coated with a faintly floral, powdered silky soapiness. I can smell where the edges of the top and heart notes meet the fixatives in the base. Those fixatives are pleasant, not harsh. "Bahiya" means: beautiful and dazzling. Bahiya Ruby kept radiating from my skin for over 5 hours before ceasing to project. Throughout the whole solid 7+ hours of wearing it, I would describe the mood it suggested as: playful, relaxing, comforting and happy. Paradoxically, even with it's red wine note, this fragrance evokes childhood innocence. It seems made for people whose inner child is healthy. It's like a high-end luxury wine-scented bubble bath. Bahiya Ruby is well done, with decent ingredients. It's said to be a clone of: Lorenzo Pazzaglia's Sun-Gria, yet whoever put this together had passion for it and gave it soul. It has character, and it's character turns out to be a surprisingly interesting candied fruit punch wine, if you explore it. This fragrance is sneakily strong. It doesn't seem to have a lot of sillage trail, yet it projects a large bubble, or cloud, around me a couple feet beyond arms length. It radiates off the skin steadily. It's not loud; it's soft, yet it's impossible to ignore. Good for all seasons. Good for day and night. Limited to very casual occasions. I think this would be great for any kind of party. This is a weekend vibe. I don't see this being appropriate at work unless it's a work party or your work involves playing. O yea, and this bottle... well, it speaks for itself.

To me, it didn’t smell like the notes. Not very sweet at all.. very rose potpourri

Does anybody really want to smell like Sangria ?
