Fahad Gaze

Everyone keeps comparing this to Gucci Guilty Elixir or Amouage Reflection Man but it feels like people are just repeating what they have heard to fit in or seem cool. To my nose this is much closer to Invasion Barbare by MDCI Parfums or Dua Fragrance’s Invasion of the Barbers. It delivers that refined masculine barbershop vibe that is smooth slightly sweet and effortlessly classy. The blend of vanilla patchouli florals and subtle spices creates a clean yet seductive character even if the listed notes differ. More importantly it serves the same purpose as IB. This is a scent for when you want to feel polished confident and attractive without trying too hard. It has that freshly groomed feel with enough warmth and depth to work in both professional and intimate settings. This is something you can wear pretty much all year round for any occasion, day or night, which makes it easily signature scent worthy. If you have been looking for an affordable alternative to Invasion Barbare just get this. Trust me you will not be disappointed!

I have to say, this was quite a lot to take in. The first impression had me feeling nostalgic. I remember a dupe of Pegasus by PDM that I used about five years ago—that white floral smell with sweet vanilla. In Fahad Gaze, the spices take this one in a different direction. It’s said to be inspired by Gucci Guilty Elixir, which I haven’t smelled before, but I must say I really like Fahad Gaze. This might also remind some people of Reflection Man by Amouage, I definitely pick up that similarity here, at least a bit. Performance is great: 7+ hours, which is impressive considering it’s a new fragrance, with very good projection. This is one fragrance I can confidently say requires you to be dressed up to exude the class it carries. Beautiful stuff!

Absolutely phenomenal fragrance! I love from the opening to dry down. So unique and smells like 100-200 pound worth of fragrance! Long lasting projection like crazy good! Highly recommend it! Arabiat prestige is on of the best on the market no question!

I was looking for a Reflections Man alternative that was stronger. I heard Gucci Guilty Elixir was the one. Unfortunately it doesn't' smell very close to RM to me. Though it's an absolute monster in performance. I got Fahad and it actually smells closer to RM however, It's nowhere near the Beast GGE is in performance. One spray on the wrist with GGE and you'll be getting whiff of it for HOURS! ...1...spray! Fahad on the other hand has "good" projection so far.

I dont know whether its this batch but the projection for me is weak. However in saying that I feel this is a reflection man twist with the hint of orange which is lovely. Im going to leave this to Macerate for a few months to see if this improves. So far weak for Projection

This smells like a root beer float or really good ginger beer. Unisex to my nose. I am a woman and I love the spicy sweet scent of this on me. Perfect on this cold wintery day.

Holy fk. People listen, if you haven't smelled them all side by side..... Stop voting based on a couple influencers trying to make profits off affiliate links. That metallic note is very prominent. This is not at all close to Guilty Elixir. Closer to Reflection because it has Juniper which can give that slightly metallic vibe (see GFS). Its solid, and great if you're on a budget, but it doesnt last as long, Smell as good, or project as well as either Reflection or Guilty Elixir. Also, this can be very sharp and it gets somewhat anamalic in the mid through the dry down. Its much more synthetic, but that's to be expected at this price point. They are probably using a lot of accords rather than pure oils. The dupe glazing is out of hand. Its great bang for the buck, but if you walk by someone wearing either of the other two, youre akin to a guy / gal in a kit car rolling up to the real thing. On its own, it works, but it doesnt stand toe to toe with the things its supposed to be cloning.

Opens like a minty burn ointment — very medicinal and honestly not pleasant to my taste. It gradually gets sweeter as the vanilla comes in. The drydown is definitely better — a spicy, balsamic vanilla — but still not great overall. Classic Arabiyat Prestige style: good blending, but mediocre projection and only okay longevity as a skin scent. The highlight here is the drydown, which actually reminds me of La Di Da from the same brand — except that one focuses more on the good side of that powdery vanilla. This one only really works if you’ve never smelled a minty ointment before... otherwise, that opening might ruin it for you. Rating: 6/10 Decent drydown, rough medicinal opening... not something I’d reach for.

I blind bought it. Scent is indeed similar to Gucci Guilty Elixir. However, longevity and sillage could not be worse than this. Hope it will get better with time. Otherwise, there is no point of buying this as it does not perform by no means. Even though atomizer sprays like 0.3ml every time, performance is in The One range

Its straight up Pegasus with some white florals, it has some Reflection Man / Guilty elixer's element but its more Pegasus, you can say its 80% Pegasus 20% GGE / Reflection Man. Disgusting mid to dry down very low quality oils have been used

Fahad Gaze is an 'Arablish' name meaning gaze of the panther. The name certainly ties in perfectly with its striking bottle, ...and also makes a fine metaphor for a fragrance of intense and penetrating nature. While on the subject, that monumentally feline bottle is indeed both grandiose and entertaining; certainly worthy of dramatic display. Yes Gale Hayman did do something similar over thirty years ago, but the trope is more than due for a revisit. Yet, I do try to not seek out perfumes just because of their beautiful bottles, ...I'm not quite that mad. So it was with happy serendipity that I read Fahad Gaze shares similarities with Guilty Elixir de Parfum pour Homme, which, for the designer tier, is certainly one of the most provocatively distinctive men's fragrances released in recent years. Having now sampled both, though not directly, they are certainly similar members of the same genre, both being complexly spiced heavy powder scents, leaning masculine as current fashion would claim. Of the two, Fahad Gaze is constructed more lightly, ...therefore, perhaps spray more. At this point, the excessive mismatch between the notes and main accords of each should be addressed. Yes, I'm aware there is a great deal of subjectivity in how such notes and accords are interpreted, ..but when two such similar scents are described so differently, marketing hijinks must be invoked, rather than only honest subjectivity. At least for the main accords, the ones listed for the Guilty Elixir, also seem more accurate for Fahad Gaze as well.

First of all, this important. Guy below chillax ya bum cheeks it's not that deep. Now the scent. He's not wrong, there is a mineral metallic note with a nice subtle almost bourbon still vanilla. Look I was in John Lewis last week, I had the OG Gucci guilty absolu, or was it elixir? It's the lighter green one I picked up, I had it and spray it on the outside of my hand. Throughout the day I couldn't stop taking a sniff, as memory serves it's this exact same scent accept much weaker and faded. I'm hoping that's because I've just received my bottle and it needs to man up alittle in the cupboard mancrete, lift some weights buff up alittle. The scent is there though and although I'm a sucker for a beastmode fragrance fresh out the bottle it's not. If it takes a month to shine so be it, I'm so hoping these are bots that have listed it as long lasting and high projection. Scent is there thou or near enough to scratch that itch. No one in the air is Gona be able to tell otherwise. I've seen the bottle gey some stick and praises. The bottles nice, people always find something to complain about. Obviously thought, time and effort went into this perfume, we should learn to appreciate that instead of being so dismissive. That being said, if it didn't perform and project say after a month or few months🕸️, then yeah I get the frustration. What's the point of a fancy bottle when the juice is trash. Get the juice right, and spend the money where it's needed instead of the design. If they've nailed both then fantastic. Time will tell.

Definitely not pegasus..... that smells like a metallic root beer and very sharp in my opinion. This is definitely inspired in the same DNA as Gucci guilty Elixir & Reflection man. I guess everyone’s nose is different but to me this smells like a slightly more spicy take on Gucci guilty elixir. This would make an amazing scent for dressing business casual and classy. When you want to be on your gentleman type of vibe. Smells like you got your shit together

blind buy this because seller said this is supposedly gucci guilty elixir clone, and nope it isnt. people seem unable to differentiate gucci elixir and reflection when both smells really different. After owning reflection 45 fahad gaze lean closer to 45, dense profile when entering drydown there is balsamic vanilic note that pop. Anyway among other arabiyat that i own, this one actually have great performance

These comments below are funny and clearly they seem to have been sold the fragrance based on sellers suggestions that it smells like others. To me it’s a luxury root beer and the metallic note lengthens the root beer smell. Buy it if you want something different because it has no blended similarities to my nose so yes I would buy this again just to have a luxury rootbeer cologne that smells really posh !

I tested this side by side with Khadlaj Shiyaka. To my nose, Fahad Gaze feels more synthetic, projects less, and fades quicker, with very little floral presence. Khadlaj still comes closest to Reflection Man in terms of overall profile. If you want the nearest match to the original, Shiyaka is the safer choice.

I agree with elyzen, it is quite similar to MDCI Invasion Barbare.
