Fahad Regal

I get a very dry, powdery, pencil shavings-like type of wood. It's so dry that the cyclamen doesn't make i aquatic?? It smells like dry earth right after a tiny rainfall, when the water has soaked into the earth and brought up the smell of geosmins/petrichor. I think the cedar contributes to that smell too. The labdanum or something else gives this an anonymous sweetness, or it may actually increase the sense of that you're in a desert. It's a "breath of fresh air" kind of perfume... if you took the breath in an earthy desert landscape. Really interesting stuff - definitely worth smelling if you're tired of mainstream smells. It's also perfectly unisex. It is also good for layering! If I have a perfume that's a bit too sweet for me, this sprayed over top makes the sweetness tone down. It also adds a subtle wooden complexity. I kinda use it the same way I use Molecule 01 +Iris when I want something to become more powdery-woody and indistinctly flowery.

On me, this smells woody, powdery, dry earth and mildly sweet. I barely recognize any of the notes listed. I don't get vanilla, I get very dry wood shavings, like a completely desiccated piece of cedar - no sap. It also smells "heat", like spices in a market of a very hot, dry country. The sweetness I get is more from some kind of flower than vanilla, but somehow, but cyclamen is aquatic, so that is not it. It's absolutely not what I would expect from the notes, but I do love it. If you like molecular scents, but want to take it one step further into perfume territory, this one could be interesting to try. Whatever musk is in this must be very different from any of the 10+ musk scents that I have, because nothing in this smells musky to me. Whoever here mentions a plum not... are you reviewing the right perfume? There is absolutely nothing "plum" in here...

If it's duping Vanille Antique, then that name is very adequate. It does smell like something antique. It's quite musky and the labdanum and cedar are quite prominent. Traditionally, it leans a tad masculine because of the cedar I think, but can be perfectly unisex. I enjoy it a lot, worth the £30 price. The cap is heavy, made of metal. I don't understand the comparison to Vanilla Powder. The closest I can tell it is, is Liquid Brun. The OG VA has plum listed and I think I can detect some fruit in here, maybe if you swap the orange/bergamot in Liquid Brun for a plum, you would get Fahad-Regal. The vanilla here is not as sweet as in Mercedes Benz or Silky Woods, as the OG is compared to them.

It's very confusing - I mean the notes. I found on the webpage of Arabiyat Prestige the following description of Fahad Regal: Top: Black Pepper, Citrus Zest, Aromatic Herbs Heart: Cedarwood, Lavender, Dry woods Base: Amber, Musk , Sandalwood. So vastly different to listed here. Someone with perfect nose - your input would be appreciated! I love the perfume and for me it does have sandalwood scent and pepper(not listed in fragrantica) , but I also smell vanilla (not listed on Arabiyat Prestige webpage) Whatever Fahad Regal consists of - I find it magnificent: sweet (not overly - just right), warm, spicy, woody and oriental. It stays on my skin quite long.

It was a blind buy, and I was really nervous about this one, since my hope was that it smells similar to the old version of vanille antique. And it does smell like that! I wanted VA for a few years and smelled it a loooot of times, so I think my comparison should be good enough. I love this <3 My favorite vanilla fragrance, especially since the OG vanille antique is now discontinued...

I also wanted to mention: if you ACTUALLY want this, but with vanilla, check out Ana Abiyedh Poudré. It's feminine though. And don't think that that one is weak. It's not prominent, but it does project and last, but you get nose-blind to it, and also suffocated if you overdo it.

wow. very similar to vanille antique without the price tag! if you love vanille antique then don’t hesitate. mustafa firoz and arabiyat prestige have done it beautifully. bottle is stunning and unique and so is the presentation! 10/10 for me

Instant Infatuation! The plum pops from the initial spray and stays in the background as it transitions into a smooth vanilla. Plum is a favorite note so I know I will reach for Fahad Regal often.

Plummy Vanilla, one of my favourite perfumes.

A bold plum-forward, woody vanilla. It’s dry, slightly masculine-leaning, and very, very strong. It definitely reminds me of Vanilla Antique, although I wouldn’t call them one-to-one. To my nose, Vanilla Antique is boozier, dustier, and a little more complex, while Fahad feels more straightforward and powerful. But if that vintage, woody style of vanilla is your thing, I have a feeling you’re going to love Fahad Regal.

Scent is very soft on initial spray, it does remind me of Cashmere & Palo Santo from Donna Karan. Good to layer with it and over spray it to enhance that scent.

Very strong on the vanilla and florals, a touch woody and powdery. it Projects decently and lasts 7-8 hours. ok, just not my type, but smells well made.

I weren't trying Vanille Antique; but, this one smells like a burnt plastic. If Vanille Antique is similar to that, then just shit. So ugly scent.. Just shit on every scent reviewer praise this one.

I tested this with a few other people and they say it's leaning feminine but I just don't see it? I don't get how this comes off feminine? We can consider most god of fires more masculine but this is more feminine? Perplexed... Well anyways.. it's a banger!
