Fondue Lava Lush

If baccarat 540 made a version with vanilla this would be it.It isnt bad but i thought it would smell way different, on my skin it just smells like baccarat and a very very small hint of vanilla on top

I have Lava Lush on one hand and Vanilla Powder on the other. The opening of LL does have a slight sharpness to it but it goes away pretty quick and settles to a beautiful soft, clean vanilla. LL is missing the palo santo note which makes it quite different to VP but in the same vein. It's sweeter and I definitely pick up the creamy milk note in here whereas VP has that dry, herbaceous powderiness to it. And of course it doesn't perform as well as as the beast that is VP, though it did last on me with softer projection. If you didn't like VP because of the palo santo note this might be worth a try. To my nose this is also more feminine leaning than VP though of course wear what you like. This is definitely a summer vanilla, it's sweet, coconutty and warm yet soft, not thick, heavy or cloying. I've even worn it to gym a few times and it didn't bother me. For reference I'm currently 39f with oily skin and live in a predominantly hot climate.

I’m not entirely sure how I feel about this. It lasts, the projection is great, and it gives a great creamy coconut, but, that opening gets me every time. The marine note is strong! It almost gives like this salty metallic feeling in my throat (I hope that makes sense lol). Luckily it doesn’t last long before it goes into the creamy coconut, but....I don’t know if I can tolerate the marine note. Was thinking of trying some other ones in the same scent profile, but now I’m scared lol
