Hamdan The Sheikh

I own this. I learned of this from CalCologne's review and he is pretty spot on. I bought this because I would go to the Air Force Exchange everyday and smell colognes during my lunch break. I discovered Sauvage Parfum and sprayed it on my arm everyday for at least a week. I will tell you that Hamdan the Sheikh and Sauvage Parfum are about 95% the same for the first 20min about. I won't say 1 to 1 because I could smell a "difference" between them but it is EXTREMELY negligible. Literally you'd need to have one on each arm to tell the difference. I have mine macerating right now so I can't speak on performance yet. But when i directly compared Hamdan to Sauvage Parfum, their performance seemed to match. I think Hamdan projects a bit better though. But as Cal Cologne states in his review, Hamdan is the OPENING of Parfum. I believe that is where the disconnect is happening with people saying that its not the Parfum and its closer to the EDP/EDT. The parfum still has the underlying DNA of Sauvage, so it still has that underlying freshness that EDP/EDT has. Hamdan doesn't dry down into the vanilla sandalwood like Parfum does. So it starts off like Parfum and maintains that opening for as long as it can. Once that fades it starts to resemble the EDP in that fresh drydown. Truthfully it makes it more versatile than the OG as it can be worn the same way that the EDP is, YEAR ROUND! This is a great fragrance overall. You can drop $200 for the OG or $30 for this and get 90% of the same scent/effect. Unless you love the dry down of the Parfum, the choice is clear.

Got this hoping it would be a banger. It actually is really, really nice. Now, I'm seeing people say this is a dead ringer for Sauvage Parfum. Not quite. It's definitely quite similar to it but it's not exact and that's a good thing IMO and I'll explain why. Before I came to write this review my initial impressions were that there is an element of BDC in this which now looking at the "reminds me of", it is listed. There's something about all the BDC line that I just don't like but there is an aspect to it that is difficult for me to describe that I really enjoy. That aspect is present in The Sheik. IMO, Hamdan The Sheik has the best elements of Sauvage Parfum and the BDC DNA combined, with most of this in the Sauvage lane. If you're looking for something that marries 90% Sauvage Parfum and 10% BDC EDP/Parfum in a very successful and well executed way, this hits the nail on the head. I have had a difficult time finding "that one" blue fragrance that checks all the boxes for me and this one is an absolute winner. Mature, fresh, a little spicy, well blended and balanced. If you're looking for a bright, light, blue, youthful freshy then this isn't it. This is denser, elegant and mature. This has immediately become an S-Tier fragrance in my collection. 9.5/10 for the fragrance, 10/10 on the value.

I’ve been on the hunt for a Sauvage Parfum alternative for years now. The hunt is over. This is it. And it was worth the wait. For about 1/3 of the price, they have given us a fantastic replication of the best Sauvage, in my opinion. I will address the one very small negative about this fragrance, which I actually ran into when smelling Salvo EDP (a Sauvage EDT clone) as well; there is a VERY SLIGHT strange “screeching” chemical smell upon initial spray that does last for a few minutes, and then quickly dissipates. Not sure what that is exactly but it is there. But do not let that deter you. This is Sauvage Parfum, done masterfully. The Orange Citrus tinge, the distinguished balmy incense from the Olibanum. This is so freaking good, and very faithful to Sauvage Parfum. The performance elevates this alternative even more. MASSIVE projection and great longevity. I sprayed two small sprays on my wrist about 2 hours ago. Still projecting heavily. Thank you to Aribyat Prestige for finally creating a great alternative to my favorite Sauvage. 9/10

I’m pretty sure I’m the only real review here or sensible one. Anyways yes this essentially the same thing is Sauvage Parfum. About 100% right off the opening. But the OG within minutes goes its own direction becoming more sweet, deeper, and warm while hamdan keeps the opening fresh, aromatic and light about the same till the dry down. It’s about 85% same on dry down couple hours in, just the OG drifts, not hamdan. Hamdan in my opinion is easier to wear daily, it’s not that strong and has a fresher scent profile but keeps the same opening. In a way, it can remind me of a mix of the OG edp and parfum drying down. Lasts about 6 hours. But it’s cheap got it for $36 so if you can find it at that it’s a steal no need for the OG

Bought this after CalCologne's review on this, and coincidentally my Sauvage Parfum just ran out... I bought this for a deal on TikTok shop for £33 and MAN! if you want a strong performing parfum with a tough more citrus throughout the journey of the fragrance, this is the one. I already am buying a second backup bottle as Sauvage is by far the best daily dumb reach and for £33... you genuinely cannot go wrong!!

I was looking for a daily clone of my favourite cologne 'Dior Sauvage Parfum & EDP bottles', and this is an incredibly close reproduction imo. A single spray comparison on the skin, and I really can't tell them aparta 95-100% match. A fantastic valued clone, that has good longevity (6-8hrs) and strong sillage.

I have hamdan the sheikh.. Very loud projection.. Very long lasting.. 1 to 1 dior savage parfum..the dry down 85 or 90 percent different savage parfum..but opening really 1 to 1 savage parfum.. Must have if u perfume colector.. I'm enjoy wearing this perfume for summer

This has that Bleu de Chanel edp slightly soapy and fresh vibe and the aquatic aspect of acqua di gio profumo and the lavender and resins from sauvage edt. Last 9-10 hours with strong/moderate projection for 3-5. Easy grab and go fragrance. 8.8/10. If sauvage parfum smell anything like the edt or the edp it's slightly there but not the whole scent

It’s closer to Dior Savage EDP Not Purfam but it smells good. It’s 90% close to Dior Savage EDP. Dior Savage Purfam Has very beautiful Orange note in opinion which is completely missing here other than its closed to EDP. If you want something’s clone of Savage EDP it’s nice to have in collection.

I really like Hamdaan by Sheikh Arabiyat Prestige. It smells about 85–90% similar to Dior Sauvage EDP/Parfum which makes it a great alternative. The longevity is decent, though not outstanding especially in Dammam Saudi Arabia extreme heat, where temperatures can reach 45–50 C. Still, it remains wearable and performs well enough for both casual outings and office use.

Opening is beautiful, but dry down... A bit stinky sour musk and cedre.

Have this and Sauvage Parfum and they are very close. Performance is very close also. I'd say that the Dior does have a little brighter citruses, and a more transparent mid and base. Due to the higher amount of volatile citrus the Dior does project slightly more during the initial application but as the citrus dies down the projection levels out between the two. Longevity is identical giving me a easy 10+ hours each. The opening is where they are easiest to tell apart. After wearing them for 30 minutes you won't be able to tell them apart. Being that Sauvage Parfum is one of my favorite warm weather options since I don't usually gravitate toward fresh fragrances, I'll always have a bottle of the original. But I do think that I may have bought my last one since I can use this most of the time and get everything out of it that I like about the original. The citrus is gone so quickly that I never really buy a fragrance for the opening. The quality of this fragrance has honestly just surprised the heck out of me and I highly recommend it!

Just opening impressions - extremely Dior Sauvage coded, not trying to be a twist on the DNA at all. Knows what it’s trying to imitate and does it very well, keeping the opening of the Parfum for basically the whole duration of the scent. Very, very familiar with Bleu de Chanel - and I personally, when I sniff it for longer, get whiffs of Dylan Blue as well without the high “aromatic” and fresh bergamot note that Dylan Blue has. Doesn’t smell Middle Eastern in the slightest - it knows what it’s trying to imitate, and it does that just right. Very blue - very designer-ey. Will leave an update after testing performance and longevity - seems like it’s going to be akin to the other Sauvage lines! Can’t express how explicitly similar it is though. Don’t expect a twist or anything different from your blue designer DNA here. Happy with the purchase

First use was nauseating. Way too strong on four to five sprays. Maximum two to three sprays now. It opens citrus resiny with a good mandarin note and takes on that woody blue profile. As long as you don't overdo it the scent is a nice oriental blue. The bones of Sauvage EDT are in there somewhere. Wasn't that impressed at the start but after a couple of months it's beginning to settle and become quite enjoyable as long as you keep the sprays down to two or three. Fairly versatile so could be used all year round day or night. 7/10

This is not sauvage Parfum I have both it’s just regular ole sauvage. Extremely disappointing.

The opening smells a lot like one man show the original, Anyone gets that?

A clone? This is more expensive than Dior Sauvage Parfum....
