Hypnotic Amber

Hypnotic Amber is amazing. The Beginning As you first spray this, there is absolutely no similarities at all to Aventus or Hacivat. I've never smelled Hacivat X, so I can't make any comparisons. But the beginning is straight smoky incense and some sweet fruitiness. That fruitiness is a little bright, in a remotely similar way to the brightness in Hacivat or Cedrat Boise. It doesn't smell like it, but the fruits have a similar brightness. I suspect that the sweetness comes from the Bergamot and the Rose. But definitely overwhelmingly smoky and resinous in the beginning. But it's smooth, not harsh and very well blended. The smokiness is rich and definitely middle eastern in nature. You have to love that style of fragrance in order to enjoy this. The Middle The fruitiness comes out more along with the ambroxan. I can't get any specific fruit smell, it's just fruity and nice and sweet. The smokiness and resins are still very much there and present. However, it is taking just a little step back to allow room for the ambroxan to kick in. Hypnotic Amber is starting to get a little bit more airy. The Drydown This is where the ambroxan makes presence known the most. Here is where I get the most resemblance to Aventus. It's still not close, but I get whiffs of a familiar fruity ambroxan combo that Aventus is known for. I get some airy musk. However, I mostly get the incense. Ambroxan, incense, resin and a little musk is what I get in the drydown. Imagine Aventus with less fruitiness and a lot of ambroxan, incense and resins. That's what I get here in the drydown. This perfume lasts well over six hours. You will gets whiffs of it on yourself. Projection isn't huge, but that's okay. I get enough projection. This perfume is never harsh, never synthetic smelling, doesn't choke you or others out and the oud is not funky. This perfume is smooth, well blended and a beautiful original creation by Arabiyat. It's not blind buy safe, so if you can get a decant, please do so. If you're brave enough to blind buy it like myself, only going based on reviews, then go ahead and give it a shot. If you like dark, resinous, smokey scents that are not mainstream, then this is it. Very middle eastern, oriental and far away from designer and popular niche. This perfume is and acquired taste. I am madly in love with this one.

Really grown on me. Oft touted as an Aventus clone, but while related it's not that close. Much drier opening from the incense, a little acrid but in a very pleasant way, with the bergamot there to give a little zing without dipping into anything too sweet and some spice to keep it on the drier side. Amber and musk in the mid to drydown with a little patchouli to balance it out, and some ambroxan to keep it pumping. Not redundant if you own Aventus, it's a little tamer and find myself reaching for it when undecided. Very easy to grab and spray, fits any occasion from gym to weddings. Improves as it matures, and for 25 bucks it feels like stealing. Very good if not very groundbreaking, a worthy purchase.

Smells so good. The quality of the scent is incredible. No alcohol blast, very well blended and smooth. The bottle and sprayer (pressurised) quality is great too. I don’t see the need of getting any other aventus-esque scent (CDNIM, SNOI) after this. Very fruity, woody, and smoky. Got a compliment 5 hours after applying it right out of the box. I thought it was gone after 2 hours but I just went nose blind which is common with this DNA. Can’t wait to see how much better it gets. Got it on sale for 30€ and it really doesn’t get better than this!

This is really nice, though it’s a bit hard to pin down exactly what it’s trying to be. Some people describe it as an incense-and-rose-heavy take on Hacivat or Aventus. Personally, I don’t get Hacivat at all. However, I can see how it sits loosely in the Aventus-inspired space - but with a significant twist. This feels much more old-school and unapologetically masculine, yet still very refined. There’s nothing harsh or abrasive about it, everything feels well-blended and smooth. Performance, at least on my skin, is comfortably above average.

This is a slept on Fragrance - It's not as "harsh" or "spicy" as aventus. It's much more smooth and complimentary. If you want crazy silage or projecting, this won't cut it for you, but if you're looking for a very smooth, easy to like scent, that is unique and can be dressed up or down, this is a great solution. I don't get "old timer" vibes, I get trendy jazz club that brings your partner in closer to smell you and ask what you're wearing. It's such a soft and multi-layered scent that won't give you or your spouse a headache.

I may be an exception here, as I am not not getting any Hacivat from this one. To my nose this is a nice and more appealing twist of Gissah Imperial Valley. I have both Nishane Hacivat and Gissah IV, and compare the three multiple times before arriving at my conclusion. I find Hypnotic Amber to be inspired by GIV and a really nice fragrance in its own right.

So its very interesting scent.In the opening very pleasent ambery bergamot like 60%aventus and in the drydown smells 80% aventus dna with pepper .Its not a clone its own scent,i think is more accurate to hacivat X

A sweeter take on Creed Aventus, lasts 12+ hours on skin. I've received many compliments wearing this.

This is a twist on the Aventus DNA. It has the most natural smell amongst all the Aventus alternatives or twists I've tried. It opens with a realistic juicy bergamot that reminds me of a Roja Elysium dupe I tried a while ago, but this citrusy burst is quite more enjoyable. It doesn't take time for the oud and patchouli to form a strong alliance like the birch does in some other alternatives. This one, it takes a slight middle-eastern turn...but for the best. The dry down has the normal ambroxan you can find in scents like Dylan blue and even some Aventus clones. Another thing I noticed with this one is that it's much sweeter, maybe the Vanilla is helping it come across more delicious. The performance is great. 9hrs+ on skin with a very good projection.

On my skin it turns into a rose bomb, pushing me away from buying a full bottle of this perfume. Otherwise it is well blended and a good fragrance. I'm really happy that I tested a decant first.

I wonder why creed or nishane didn’t put oud or dirty amber in their aventus/hacivat.... Oh maybe because it doesn’t go well with the rest of the composition?? It’s like wearing turkish bellydance jewelry over your tuxedo. Whatever, do your thing, guys. Please be honest with your reviews. I can understand some noses like this but can’t you smell the whole eastern twist?! I don’t like it. ( to my nose this smells bad ) politically corectness stuff
