Arabiyat Prestige Nayel Oud – The Best Tuxedo Clone I’ve Tried I have been testing Nayel Oud for a while now, side by side with The Tux, Suits from Fragrance World, and IGWHA by French Avenue. After all that, I can confidently say this is the closest I have found to YSL Tuxedo, easily about 98 percent similar to the OG. Performance is solid. You get a good arm’s length of projection for the first hour and a half, then it settles closer to the skin. Longevity is around 6 hours for me, but my bottle is still fresh and has not had time to mature or macerate, so I am expecting that to improve. The opening greets you with a beautiful mix of bergamot and a touch of violet leaf. The rose in the mid comes through softly, never jammy or overpowering. The real star here is the patchouli, and this is probably my favorite rendition of this note in any fragrance, rich, refined, and perfectly balanced. If you have been on the fence about getting a Tuxedo clone, this is the one I would recommend without hesitation. It is classy, elegant, and perfect for dressed up occasions, date nights, or even casual wear if you have the style to match. Probably not ideal for a laid back office environment unless you are in a suit and tie. Best of all, it makes the original, which is ridiculously overpriced, feel redundant. I would not buy Tuxedo now that I have this.

Great ysl tuxedo style fragrance. I had fragrance world suits for half a year before I saw this for a great price and decided to try it out as well because of the great reviews. Gave a couple of sprays and let it sit for a month or two. And today I compared it with suits for me its way better in all aspects. Suits right now essentially disappeared from skin but nayal oud is still there, i can smell it without digging my nose into the skin which for me is a big win because I was not satisfied with the performance and longevity of suits. Both dont smell screechy for me but suits feels way more flat, it just a rosy vanilla with a bit of patchouli . ( dont get me wrong, this rose vanilla patchouli can slap if done properly but here they feel flat, not screechy but just weak presence / "watered down", you get the point ) But nayal oud has a bit less rose , it also has a woody aspect that adds depth, and feels just way more interesting and elegant and not as flat as suits. You can also pick up the oud in the dry down but its just a bit and is beautifully incorporated in the scent for depth without actually being noticeable ( unless you smell from close when it reaches dry down ) . Overall a big win .

I got my sample from Misty mountain decants. Smells very good and high quality. Very good and smells like something you would get at a designer level in a store. This is a classy man's fragrance. This is a classy gentleman with a kind of vanilla style. I've never smelled tuxedo but if tuxedo smells anything close to this I'm very interested. The smooth blend and the ingredients is great. I think maybe just one of the struggles might be the longevity from what I can tell. But I'm considering purchasing a bottle of this. This doesn't have anything like a menthol note or something you might consider in line with Layton. This is just smooth classy gentleman style of a vanilla but not your typical vanilla.. Smells a lot higher quality than what it's priced at.

Beautifully blended fragrance that oozes class and confidence, very similar to Tuxedo but makes it more about photo-realistic earthy patchouli and a stellar mysterious woody oud note while never losing a certain freshness thanks to the bergamot and different floral aspects that at times almost come across as a very luxurious green rosey soap; really well-done and probably best suited for men aged 27 and up. Performance was already strong straight out of the box, but it seems to get stronger and stronger over time. Even better smelling as well. 70ml for 35 Euros? Probably should buy a back-up bottle. Scent: 9.55/10 Performance:8.75/10 Presentation:8/10 Price: 10/10 (don't hesitate if you like this scent profile and can find it for a good price!)

Straight out the box this smells very high quality. I'm assuming over time this will only get deeper and warmer. Arabiyat did an excellent job with this one, it opens with that beautiful violet leaf freshness, which reminds me a bit of Fahrenheit or Wind Wood by Mancera. In the mid it kinda has two sides, one reminds me a lot of Tygar, which still keeps this fresh and clean, and the other gives it this slight refined sweetness, probably the vanilla and amber. In the base I get mostly the patchouly and some woodiness. It's probably early to talk about the performance, but this one seems to be long lasting and not heavy, more of an intimate scent bubble with moderate projection. All in all, a very solid alternative to Tuxedo.
