Noirè

Nearly 80 bottles in and this is the first one I feel is comment worthy.. Super versatile! Lite but heavy, sweet but not cotton candy. Strong af right out the box. I would imagine it might age well, but it's not needed. For what it's worth, the presentation is PEAK. All heavy glass including the top, it looks good if your planning to display it, show it off or gift it. Blind buy safe! Easy dumb reach! My new go to. Arabiyat Prestige has alot of HEAT! Very underrated house.. They easily have 4 of my top 5 scents.

I’m picking this over Obsidian, there’s something in Obsidian that does not smell pleasant to me. I don’t know what the note was but it was off putting. Noire to me is much more pleasant and just what I was looking for in terms of scent profile. This is definitely date night feeling yourself type of vibe. There’s bad boy type of feel to it and it’ll be my go to in the fall and winter.

Fresh Iris and Lavender fragrance that smells clean and sweet. So far, fantastic! Only had this for 2 weeks so we'll see what maceration does.

Has the same DNA as Dior Homme Parfum 2025, but with a fresh aromatic twist. Amazing!

I instantly smell the orris and lavender when spraying. As it dries down it smells spicier. The performance is great as I could get a nice 8 hours out of it with projection about a foot past my arm from my decant. I also have tried and prefer rayhaan obsidian, which focuses more on iris and smells less spicy to me. I haven't smelled DHP for a while now so cant say which is closer. Overall, it is a professional scent, like I should be wearing a suit while using this.

This perfume initially has a Dior Homme scent, then transitions to the scent of Jpg Ultra Male, and the dry-down brings back the Dior scent. Edit: Unfortunately, the DHP disappears as it dries down... They really messed it up with the lavender. It turns sweet and is more like JPG Ultra Male... What a shame.

Great freshy take on the DHI dna with less lipstick and a bold fresh lemale mix into it! Works well in the summers and strong initial projection! Worth it for the price if u like the DHI dna!

Two weeks ago, Noire and Obsidian arrived. So here are my first impressions: Noire: Opens up sublte. Slighty synthetic Orris with some dry fruit. But this just lasts seconds. Afterwards you kinda dont smell anything for a couple minutes. Then when you are just going on with your life, it starts to develop. The Orris comes back in waves but just very lighty. You can feel something lingering in the background, its hard to describe but looking at the notes it might be a combination of amber with lavender. Hours later the scent is still there, and still transitioning. The Orris is very less noticable. Instead somthing floral takes over. Not like any flower in general, but there is a flowery note that plays with the sweetness and orris thats left over. Obsidian: Absolute killer opening! Its definately designer quality right from the start and you can clearly feel that. The Orris is very rich and deep. It overwhelms you just like DHP 2025 if you overspray that a bit. Then, after 10 minutes it dries down a lot. Now you feel that there is actually vanilla in the formula making Obsidian still very pleasing and easy to like. Because if you think DHI has too much Iris, Obsidian might scare you. Also in my batch I get some mandarin in the opening. That is not the case with the decant I have bought. Maybe it will be less noticable after maturation? Idk. For now I would say Noire is a lot easier to wear, has higher longevity but is way pricier and has less of a wow factor. Its just more bland and has less character. Obsidian on the other hand opens up way stronger and has excellent Orris quality. It knows in which direction it wants to go, is extremely close to DHP 2025 and will wow people around you. I imagine at night time wear this will definately turn heads. Only problem is longevity. I would say 2 sprays will get you about 4 to 5 hours. Because of the strong, rich opening you dont want to overspray this one. Get Noire if you want something easy to wear and kinda close to DHP 2025 and DHI. Get Obsidian if you want DHP 2025. I might do a follow up if people want an opinion after maturation.

There's an off putting smell about this thing from the opening and becomes more noticeable in the dry down. Smells a bit like a dirty neroli thing. It's genuinely hard to mess up this DNA but man do I hate this one. Kayaan to me remains the best from opening to dry down. Don't expect wonders from noiré. Kayaan classic though? That thing smells like a $300 fragrance! I'm not even exaggerating. That thing has one of the most well-blended and smooth juice ever put in a bottle of this price point.

Its great performer but i hated the scent Sickly sweet... geniunly it has nothing to do with the iris powederiness untill the next day... maybe you can feel a little iris... its so thick so i gifted my bottle after a day

Here is my honest review for Fragrantica: Intro: It's said this is a dupe of Dior Homme Intense. I do not have the OG to compare it to. What I can say is that it reminds me a lot of Rayhaans Obsidian! I also think it has some resemblance to Dumont Pure and Bujairamis Flex(slightly because of it's subtle freshness). This is a sexy. manly, charming and alluring kind of fragrance. It's fresh but dark as well... Not overly sweet. It's very mysterious and seductive. You will make a statement with this on. Noiré is pretty much just as good as Noire Absolu. I made a review it on it before. The notes: Noiré opens up with spicy, warm, and smoky accords in a very rich and sophisticated kind of way. It also feels pretty resinous giving it that heaviness that it has. It definitely feels like something I'd expect to pay a lot of money for. It has some lavender, powderyness and iris in it as well from what I can detect. This give it some added freshness so that it's not too dark. Making this a great, and easy to wear mature men's fragrance. It goes right outside the scope of the regular mass appealing kind of fragrances by giving it a little umph. I like it. Clean and sophisticated at the same time. This perfume drives confidence. Even though it has all of this going on, it is not in the least bit overpowering or too heavy of a wear. In fact I wore it during the day in Florida and managed. This something you'd probably want to wear when you're dressed up nicely and going out in the evening. I'll wear it regardless during the day though, I enjoyed wearing it that much. Very natural smell I'd like to mention. Does not smell synthetic. The bottle itself is very nice. Rugged, has some texture to it. All glass design, with a very heavy glass top. They did not cheap out on the design of these. The wear: I took some notes on the longevity for this review as I wore Noire. I've worn it twice now so I have a pretty good idea. I sprayed it on at 10:30 in the morning in Floridas hot weather. It seems that I went nose blind to this, but I can confirm other people smelled it a few hours after I sprayed in the air. Not too strongly but it was present they said. I can smell it strongly when I put my nose to my arm where I sprayed. 1:36 and I am finally smelling it again, I can smell it projecting off my body! I was pretty astonished to pick it back up and happy I did. It's subtle but it's present. 4:30 and it's definitely just a skin scent now. Nobody around me can really smell it anymore from a distance. 6:05 it's still a decent skin scent. I've gone and showered at this point so it's mostly gone. Longevity on this fragrance is average. 6 hours performance is what I would say it has. The rating: Longevity 8/10 Projection 7/10 Scent 9.3/10 Overall Rating 8.5/10 Conclusion if it we're me smelling a decant of this, and I didn't have anything similar to this fragrance I would 100% buy a bottle. It's very manly and extremely addictive. My bottle is brand new, and if this performs better after it matures, I would rate this higher immediately. As always, please don't just go based off my subjective scent review, you may love it or hate it. My goal is to at least give you a idea of what the fragrance is like. Try a decant first if this profile interests you.

Much better than Obsidian by Rayhaan. If you were considering that, pick this.
