Ramad Louban

I'm surprised there isn't any frankincense listed, it reminds me of some other woody incense scents I have, like Lattafa Hala or MA Mysterious Amber. I also get a nice spiciness from it. The quality is excellent. I don't have many Arabiyats, 3 or 4 I think, but they have all been wonderful performers. Edit: I've let it sit for a couple months and wow, it really opened up! It no longer smells like a generic incense.. it's a little lighter and deeper somehow.

3.9 average rating for this gem. Jesus wept. Easy to see why the thoughtful reviewers have moved to Parfumo when the clowns are let loose on here. Banging scent. Crazy value. 7-8 hours. Moderate to strong projection. Moderate after 2-3 hours. About 85-90% similar to Reasons. Can also see the similarity to Bentley Absolute. Easily worth the $40 Aud.

Opens up papyrus pepper woods and dried down cozy as fuck like Havana Gold but light and transparent. Fucking absolutely insane value proposition. It’s like a minimal Scandinavian furniture vibe in a cozy log cabin, turtle neck cashmere vibes. Sleeper here guys Jesus

Dramaticlex below is right, this indeed smells like fresh mushrooms. Wore for a few days and it doesn't perform much. But the scent is pretty unique on it's own to satisfy anyone looking for something different. It's dark earthy woody but not like Encre Noir. It's resinous but not as much as FW Kohl (or Ebene Fume). It's not the same woody incense as Lattafa Hala. Also there's no bright pine or cedar to overpower. It is a "dull" scent, nutty is maybe the best word to describe this. Don't go for it if you're just looking for a performance beast. It's also difficult to decide when to wear this.

The dry down is where this one really comes alive🎉 It opens with slightly woody, dusty, earthy notes🪵🌱🪹, then settles into a rich blend of amber & sandalwood🍁🍂🪹 The overall gives me Amouage Reasons had a baby with Bentley For Men Absolute...it is an acquired taste that is smooth & quietly captivating.

I have a decant of Amouage Reasons, and side by side, To my nose Louban smells 90–95% similar to Reasons. The only downside is performance. Louban lasts around 7 hours, while Reasons lasts 12+ hours on my skin. Both open with a slightly sweet scent. I’m very happy with Louban.

Own the entire Ramad line (bar the og, impossible to find here) and think it's a great line from AP. Having access to some hard-to-get DNAs at a decent quality and price is appreciated. Louban up there with Myrrh as the favorite, although I think Louban gets top spot for having wider appeal and application. Unique bright and spiced pine timber opening and doing a slight transition to a more subdued cypress and ambroxan base. Year round ease of wear and sig scent worthy. Pleasure to wear, nothing offensive yet nothing generic either, blind buy safe if any of the notes are even vaguely interesting. One of the better finds of the year - so far.

Honestly I’d rather just save the money and get Outlands if I really wanted it, instead of this or Terra from Rayhaan. They are just lacking that something special that Amouage had- it is a pretty hard house to dupe

Very very harsh opening, but the most beautiful dry down. I wish the dry down was linear from the opening.

Sadly a fart lasts longer,it lasts like 3 mins max,the worst performing perfume in my collection
