Ramad Oriental

Hello good people of Fragrantica, I’ve had Ramad Oriental by Arabiyat Prestige for a couple of months now. I bought it alongside Rayhaan Terra to compare both to my Outlands sample. Cutting straight to the point: Ramad Oriental is a closer, better-blended, and more refined dupe of Outlands. In my opinion, there’s no question about it. If you have all three and do an objective side-by-side comparison, you’ll likely reach the same conclusion. It’s very close to Outlands, though not identical. Neither Ramad Oriental nor Terra fully capture the depth and richness of Outlands and realistically, at around 1/10th of the price, you shouldn’t expect a perfect match. 1) In terms of similarity: - Ramad Oriental ≈ 80-85% to my nose - Terra ≈ 75–80% From the first spray, you can notice the refinement and better blending in Ramad Oriental compared to Terra. 2) Performance: - Longevity: 2–3 sprays easily last around 7 hours - Projection: Good for 2–3 hours 3) Gender lean: Slightly more masculine than feminine, but clearly unisex 4) Wearability: Autumn, Spring, Winter, and cool Summer evenings. Who should consider buying Ramad Oriental: - If you love Outlands but don’t want to pay full price → you’ll be happy with this 1/10th cost alternative. - If you tried Outlands but found the opening too spicy or harsh → Ramad Oriental is smoother and easier to enjoy. Who should skip it: - If you’ve tried Outlands and didn’t like the scent profile → Ramad Oriental isn’t likely to change that. Overall, Ramad Oriental is a well-blended, affordable, and satisfying alternative to Outlands, with great performance and refinement compared to Terra.

Outlands is my signature scent. When you have had Outlands on for about 5/6 hours, that’s what this scent is trying to imitate. It also does so very well, and is only slightly off. This however will never take Outlands place. For one, the slight bit that it’s missing compared to the original is extremely important. It’s missing some of the spice and other noted that gives the dry down such a beautiful roundness. There is also no journey through the wear, and it sits very linear. Performance is about half of the original (still 7/8 hours) You can definitely tell that it’s of lesser quality as well. HOWEVER With all of that being said, this is fantastic. Way more mass appealing and is what I wear if I am going to be face to face with clients first thing in the morning. The profile has become one of my favorites, even if this doesn’t have quite the same magic. As a clone 8/10 As a standalone scent 7.5/10 (Will keep a bottle in my collection considering price, but doesn't excite me nearly as much as the original) Wife - 6.5/10 (Thought it smelled nice, and doesn't mind me wearing it. She definitely prefers clean freshies like imagination. Doesn't like it enough to ask me to keep it in the collection) Will keep a bottle on my shelf as long as I can find it.

Literally heaven I think this is my new favorite in my collection seriously! I dont know but theres just something about this fragrance and the way it hits my nose XD. I dont really know how to describe such a complex scent to be honest... im still a fragrance noob but this smellls so fresh, clean, yummy, spicy, creamy, rich, unique, etc.... its pretty much the ultimate all in one! Its like when this hits my nose my nose just feels like its being opened and tickled lol. Ive been wearing it at work lately and a lot of my co-workers think its amazing too! Idk why people say this fragrance doesnt last? This is one of the strongest in my collection! I like to spray it on myself when im just chilling at home, and i will smell it for hours without going nosebllind. If i spray my clothes it will last for a day maybe more! Overall this is a very amazing fragrance ad i never expected it to be! this was my first fragrance with incense in it and i am hooked!

OK I finally got my hand on this hype beast. I've never actually smelled Outlands, but this is such a wonderful fragrance the opening of cumin and the spices are a joy. Kinda good idea to have just this DNA in your collection. However like I said in the beginning I haven't smelled Outlands, but this isn't Outlands not by a long shot, if you have smelled African Leather or Afro Leather this is the same dam beast of a fragrance with more fruit and sweetness, which is working but ultimately the same DNA with a twist. After I 1st smelled this I was was 100% African Leather with a twist, all this hype for that! Now by no means is African Leather a bad fragrance but for the price point & hype of Outlands and African Leather isn't cheap as is. Hat's off to the hyper out there, but this is African Leather but only sweeter

I've had this for a month or so, and I've held off on the review because clones tend to need to macerate before you know the true end result. When I first got this, it was very weak in longevity and silliage, but after a month, this starting to perform really nicely. It's not beastmode, but it lasts a long time, and projects nicely for the first few hours, and then becomes a scent bubble. I do not have the OG, but I really enjoy this one, as it is different from everything in my collection. All the things people are saying this smells like aside from the OG, does not smell like any of them. This is very unique and could be a great spring/fall/winter signature scent. This is easily an office banger, as it will not choke anyone out, and you will not smell like anyone else. 8.5 out of 10 - Total Banger.

Ive never smelled Outlands but it was on my "you need this" mental list for months. Finally I got this clone, and without being able to say how close it is to the original, I can say this fragrance is absolutely GORGEOUS. I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely love this. It is primarily a smooth powdery amber with resinous touches, as the notes may imply. Theres also a resinous fizziness that exists here on the open which is beautiful. This iteration from Arabiyat is UNREAL in terms of quality from a clone house. Seriously surprised and I will be looking at AP more.. anyway, stunning fragrance for the price, I'm 350+ fragrances in to my journey and I can confidently say that THIS fragrance is in my top 10 or 15. Great work... to both Amouage and AP.

A very nice special occasions scent on a budget. Gets very close to Outlands but obviously not as complex. For the price it is 100% worth it though. To me this scent DNA is very masculine without forcing it onto you. It's a subtle masculinity and gives off mature, luxurious, and quiet confident vibes. It is sexy but unassuming. When I took the bottle home I sprayed once on my inner arm and later on had a shower. After my shower I could still smell Ramad on that same spot (yes I scrubbed with soap and a washcloth). That same night I sprayed once on a t-Shirt to see how long it would last on clothes and I smelt it for 4 days. This is the type of perfume that will have you smelling yourself all day, very addictive.

A more ambery version of African Leather with the opening spices turned down and then vanilla added to add even more mass appeal. Doesn't match the original in performance but only a few MFK'S, Clive Christians and definitely most dark toned Royal Crown fragrances will outperform the original. I remember back when nothing outperformed Amouage, but those days are long over. On the scent itself, tone down the heavy spice and aromatic leather from Memo's Aftrican Leather warm up the resins and expect about the same longevity and projection. That has been my experience with the fragrance!!!!

This is a an amazing fragrance and smells floral, citrus and spices on the opening and the dry down ands a warm vanilla and incense base. I fell in love with Outlands and would always pop into the Amouage store to smell it. Outlands is expensive, this is a great alternative. They smell almost identical, with a different vanilla smell in Outlands. Outlands has that Amouage quality smell, but Ramad is less than a tenth of the price of Outlands. Ramad lasts 8-10 hours which is plenty, Outlands lasts for days. I will buy this forever!

Straight up if you have ever smelled the original and want a clone that smells close to the OG. Ramad oriental is the one closer to OG. Though outlands is just too complex and high quality to make a perfect clone still i would give arabiyat one 8/10 thats how much close it gets! ramad oriental is the one thats more smoother and a better blend out of the first spray Ramad just nails it more subtle , spicy incense , creamy amber , vanilla . Very mass appealing Decent projection for first 1.5 hours and longevity around 7-8 hours

Never smelled outlands, but I love complex resinous scents. This is amazing, a lemon bomb up top with vanilla and resinous scent. This one is a banger. For anyone who likes middle eastern strong scents but with a nice sharp lemon base this is great. As it starts to drydown I start to get more of the resin and cumin. This one is great if you want to feel like a king. Lemon buttered cookies in a tin that you get at Christmas with a touch of spice is the closest I can come to describe it.

One i hardly reach for , but man its great when i use it. Such a unique scent, its one of the most complex in my collection id say. Its soft, fresh, floral, clean , creamy, dreamy... just uh.... i dont really have the words.. but its overall very pleasant to me. I see people mention horrible performance but for me personally it seems to be one of the better performing ones for me. Great stuff 9/10 I need to try more from this brand

I generally dislike clone reviews where the reviewer hasn’t smelled the otiginal, but I don’t really care if this is accurate to the original because it’s amazing. Sooooo damn good. It’s vanilla and so much more. I can’t even describe it. Just clean, vanilla, some woods, some resins. A smalllllll splash of oud , on the opening the. It goes away surprisingly. After that it’s just smoooth vanilla and resin. Total banger.

Great scent! I am still a noob, but this frag is great! The opening is in your face and then the dry down is absolute heaven. Tried it for two days and keep smelling my arm. The projection is good about 2-3 hours of power, then the scent bubble. About 6 hours later I can smell off of my chest when the wind blows. Can't wait for the time it sits, in a couple weeks, come back for another smell.

This is my first type of cologne with any sort of incense in it. Im def not gonna be very good at describing this, but to me all i can say is its slightly spicy, slightly warm, slightly floral very soft, very pleasant, very heavenly. idk, this smells like something an angel in heaven would be wearing lol really good stuff, and it lasts forrrrrever right out of the gate no need to mature.

one of the closest dupes of outlands though its very difficult to match the quality of Og. this one is decent, this is like a toned down version of the OG , less spicy, less sweeter ,less incensy but a lot more creamier. almost a 70-75% match of the OG. PERFORMANCE IS DECENT FOR ME GIVES AROUND 7-8 HOURS ON SKIN AND AROUND 10 HRS ON CLOTHES. GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY

Performance seems fine with my bottle. Seems insane tbh. Sprayed 4 sprays on my polyester hoodie, went to sleep a few hours later...... woke up after a 4 hour nap and could easssily still smell it when i put my hoodie back on. like it literally still smells so fresh and clean and good. this stuffs no joke seems to be one of the strongest in my collection by far

In this fragrance I get Spice, Vanilla, Woods, and slight resins.(In the opening I get Mint, but when dried down it subsides). Longevity 9 hours with moderate projection for 3-4. To me a person 30 and older would wear this. 8.9/10. I personally dont think this is a mass appealing scent.

Very spicy opening, cardamom, pepper, cumin. Then vanilla comes out after a few hours and has a sweet benzoin smell at the end. Smells just like the benzoin incense I burn, if you love the smell of incense you will love this. Long lasting and strong but not going to be for everyone.

Now that I’ve worn this a few times it’s starting to grow on me. The cumin opening is a bit strong, and reminds me of BO. Once it dries down it smells like a slightly vanilla Nag Champa incense. Reminds me of being in an old hippie head shop where they sell bongs and incense.

Very nice mass appealing scent, niche, rich vibe with this scent, it smells similar to Outlands but not 1/1 with Amouage quality, but definitely worth the money. It doesn't project heavily but it is a very nice scent you wouldn't be disappointed with a blind buy.

After 1 month of Maseration this is a spicy sweet vanilla with some cardboard-y resins. This last 9-10 hours with 3-4 hours of strong to moderate projection. This is masculine leaning and I personally would say this smells a little gourmand. 9.5/10.

I have had it maturating for a month and it’s appears to be lasting an hour longer and the profile has a richness and depth to it that was not there before. This is an underrated fragrance and a must have...an all occasion outlands

Oh I absolutely love this. It is spicy incense heaven for me. For the person below, this doesn't smell like Art of Arabia III, which is much sweeter than this. I guess they could be cousins though. Sweet incense vs. Spicy incense.

I love it. Very masculine cooler weather evenings out type of scent. Spicy Amber profile. I thought if this truly is close to Amouage Outlands that it might be too much. This is just right and is not too much.

Exit is very strong and harsh , remind me of Mancera red tobacco , once it settles down gets a little lighter and fresh . still a heavy fragrance , with hard personality , not for everybody , don’t blind buy

A beautiful scent, It almost reminds me of Blonde Amber in the opening. After it dries down it starts smelling like outlands, I’d say 75-80%. Overall a great dupe and could be a signature scent.

Received today the opening like grand soir MFK / lattafa internal Oud a little bit like Hugo boss absolu Very good scent nothing to say I will update with the performance later !

This is very very very close to Outlands. This smells just a tad less incense-y and a tad more sweet. I think I might prefer this to Outlands not just because of the price.

The guy underneath me is right the opening does smell like blonde amber. When I first sprayed this I was confused but then it does dries down nicely.

So the scent in itself is great. Opening starts of heavy on the patchouli and the spices are very well noticeable especially the pepper, and slight sweetness from the cardamom and saffron. HOWEVER, After 2-3 hours it does smell a lot like Vicks Vaporub or AXE brand universal oil, which is quite medicinal. But if you can get through frankincense then it's quite good. Performance is 5-6 hours for my skin at 25 C (Depends person to person) Quality 6.5/10 I think if they used slightly better ingredients it would've stole the show and compete w Amouage Outlands Scent 7/10 I liked it but wouldn't necessarily get again. Although very unique scent if you don't have a spicy incense profile scent in your collection.

I let this sit for 2 Months before I gave it a proper use after testing and giving Outlands a wear i can say this get's close like 80 percent. But in the opening i do find that it is almost a bit fresher than Outlands and I quite like that as apposed to the nuclear spice bomb on Outlands, but in the dry down i can't tell the difference. This isn't for everyone so recommend testing this first, Oriental isn't on the same level of performance as Outlands but i get 8 hours of longevity with the first 3 hours of solid projection.

Obviously super hard to dupe Outlands as its so complex, and Amouage uses extremely high quality of ingredients. However, Ramad Oriental does come somewhat close to the dry down of Outlands. If you can get past the quite harsh, very spicy opening of Ramad Oriental, after half an hour it becomes almost addicting to smell, just like the dry down of Outland. Highly recommend it as it does definitely scratch the itch of Outlands (mostly the addictive dry down), but I have not tried the other dupes available.

I like this scent but is not a love. I am impatient and the scent right out the gate lingers too long that I lose interest before the beautiful dry down occurs. If you factor price into this one - its still just good. Have not put my nose on Outlands but if this smells anything like it, I can wait to have it. Not bad. Not great. For me, a tad overhyped. Take it for what it is. 3.8/5 overall

A unique scent. Smells like dirty money that has been sitting around vanilla beans, some spices and house plants. You will be needing about 15 sprays to get the job done but once on your skin and clothes the sillage will float and you have an amazing head turner.

If you are looking for an outlands dupe this pulls it off as far as scent profile goes, but it doesn't come close in terms of projection or longetivity, but it does get awfully close if it did last longer and projected better I wouldn't feel a need for outlands

Good smell ,a mature scent probably 25+will like this . smell the incense and cinnamon(cumin)and the sweetness the most for me .Price point is good .overall good fragrance for the fall and winter ....

I would definitely recommend testing this or what it’s duping before buying it. I’m not opposed to oriental fragrances, but this one is VERY strong. The atomizer is also intense! It’s to the point where trying to test it on skin had the fragrance flying back at me. I think this is what leads to the initially blast of fragrance. It doesn’t smell bad, but it just isn’t my taste & I don’t think much people will like the scent in Western countries. My best description would be something an 60+ year old would were in the Middle East. It’s very refined & well blended, creamy even, but that layer of incense smells like old wet leather(which I’m not a fan of most leathers). I want to see what it turns into with time(but I highly doubt I’ll like it) before I trade/sell it. What I forgot to add to my review is that it projects about 3-5 feet for about an hour intensely, then almost immediately disappears into a skin scent for about 5-6 hours(granted I did try to wash it off). In clothes the projection stays about 1 foot during the second hour then reduces to a shirt only smell for 8 ish hours. The scent doesn’t transform as much as some of the other reviews in my experience. 5/10

Smells great, but performance is a joke (2 hours top) Left it sitting for two weeks hoping it would evolve — nope, still weak. The opening is a pleasant mix of spicy-sweet with a hint of incense (though not nearly as rich as the OG). But once it dries down? It turns into that all-too-familiar "Arabian generic" vibe — nothing memorable, nothing new. Will I repurchase after this bottle? Absolutely not. Do I find myself reaching for it? Rarely. Was I influenced by you know who — the big guy in the black hoodie? Guilty. Was he hyping it for pennies? Oh, you know he was. 😅

I'm female and bought it out of curiosity because of the hyped Outlands. Nothing special is happening here, it seems to me that this is more of a psychological moment, there is too much talk, so we no longer have a realistic attitude. Sorry guys, so many good fragrances, this one is nowhere near it. Someone asked about Art of Arabia III, it's more acidic, darker, more masculine. Not all perfumes are good on all meridians, it all depends on the climate and other characteristics....

It's not bad but definitely DO NOT blind buy. It's not for everyone. Little bit like stink.... I love Arabiat prestige fragrances but this is not the best.

Initially tried this on paper and it smelled absolutely nothing like Outlands with a heavy cardboard note like someone else mentioned. On skin it was a little closer, but still pretty far off. It's got the spicy open, incense, amber, and wood notes down but the citrus, oud, vanilla, and floral notes of Outlands either aren't there or are far too faint. This smells like half of the scent profile of Outlands is missing. Projection is really poor also. You might like this for what it is, but it is not worth the hype and not a viable replacement if you want to smell like Outlands.

Been testing this for the last 2/3 days and here are my thoughts: 1. When you first spray it on air, you’ll definitely think you got Outlands for 45€, but when you test it on skin it really humbles your expectations. The scent itself is very linear, you get the opening notes and then you go straight to benzoin, vanilla and a little bit of amber, but still you definitely get the Outlands DNA. 2. Performance are decent, you will get six hours with 2/3 hours of good sillage, from 3rd hour it becomes a skin scent. 3. You can tell the perfume hasn’t been letting macerate for an ideal amount of time, you get the feeling of it needing to blend for a longer period, eventually it will become better in months or even next cold season. I think all the hype and the facts this is an Outlands dupe put too many expectations on this perfume, considering this is a 45€ scent against the 450€ of the original one, it does its job. It can be a signature scent for the fall and winter season but that’s it. Can’t really expecting something else from a cheap dupe, Outlands is top 3 best perfumes ever made and no middle eastern dupe house can replicate or even get close to it. With all been said, I’ll give this a 7.5/10

Ugh Okay they have opened up a strip center of several stores in one parking lot here in Houston Tx near me & I see these clones are more less taking over!! I’m a niche snob with just over 300 high end niche Fragrances & now kind of trying to learn the names of these Dubai houses that basically just copy But at the same time have nicer bottles & better atomizers?? So now I’m in here & seeing what they have & Whats what?? I bought a Creed Virgin Island Water clone, That was infact better than the O.G last week & knew I was coming back after this & picked it up earlier today & might I say I cannot tell the difference in the original Outlands that I have more than tested & wore! I have always been one to be skeptical & prob say some some negative bullshit somewhere about a clone, But with this I cannot!! For the price of $45 my mind is blown!! I think the bottle & sprayer is equally as nice lol!!! Amouage Outlands is one that I still have not found discounted...When it is It’s on. eBay & I’m suspicious!! It’s the scent profile I really like!! vanilla suede & incense Patchouly...Licorice..& so much more, I dropped my pride & picked it up & It feels like a win

My man! Grand stuff from Arabiyat prestige, don't know about comparisons to Outland and I would take that with a pinch of salt, as you cannot really clone an Amouage fragrance, with all its subtle nuances. However on a standalone basis, this is quite the stellar scent. Cardamom heavy, with a bit of elemi and bergamot/ lemon at the start, it blends quite evolvingly with saffron, geranium and patchouli. The spices, pepper and cumin are thankfully dialed down and do not stick out like sore herbal thumbs. The drydown is a heavenly mix of benzoin, vanilla, amber and the balsamic feel from opoponax. I don't really get the incense though. An adroit Middle eastern, aromatic, balsamic, spicy scent set for fall and winter. All seasonal scent? Autumn and fall, but suitable for evenings during spring as well Unisex? Masculine Blind buy worthy? Might be off setting for some, who are not into the M.E. vibe of the scent, so better off sampling first Performance? Longevity, around 7 to 8 on skin, and longer on clothes, with decent projection and sillage, and expecting it to get better with maceration.

Bought Arabiyat Prestige Ramad Intense after seeing so many influencers compare it to Amouage Outlands, but it turned out to be a huge disappointment. In my opinion, it's not even 10% similar to Outlands. The quality, depth, richness, and overall scent profile are completely different. Outlands has a smooth, refined, luxurious character with excellent blending, while Ramadan Intense feels much simpler and lacks the complexity and elegance that made me want Outlands in the first place. Pros: Decent presentation and bottle. Pleasant fragrance on its own if you don't compare it to Outlands. Fair value for those looking for an affordable standalone scent. Cons: Not a convincing clone or alternative to Amouage Outlands. Lacks the depth, refinement, and premium quality of the original. Doesn't capture the same opening, heart, or dry down. The social media comparisons are highly exaggerated. This purchase reminded me why it's important not to rely solely on influencer hype. If you're expecting an affordable Outlands replacement, you may be disappointed. Always sample before you buy.

Deep, rich, resinous, amber forward. Strong out the box at first spray. Never smelled Outlands, but this smells very similar to boss bottled absolu. Bottled absolu is probably my favourite fragrance (just now anyway!) and this has very similar characteristics to it - will be interesting to see how this changes as it has time to rest. I’m not mad at having something very similar to my favourite fragrance but I’d be mad if I bought outlands if this smells like it. Update: hmm, dry down smells similar to CH mystery tobacco which reminds me of a granny perfume 🫣

I generally don't like perfumes that just throw in whatever they find; there needs to be complementarity or contrast to bring the notes together. Turkish perfumer Veysel Aksoy has done this well, layering the cardamom, pepper, and spice bomb with geranium and saffron (I would have preferred without jasmine), and towards the end, vanilla and incense. This is a valuable Arabiat Prestige perfume for those who like this type of scent.

I’ve smelled ON SKIN Ramad, Terra, Boss Absolute, Intoxicated (Killian), as well as Outlands. Most people in the comments below are clueless about this profile. I can say I think when you really like a fragrance you are significantly less likely to say something smells JUST LIKE IT. Get a decant of Soul Batik by Moresque It cost more than this and less than that and it’s well worth it IMO
