Raspberry Ripple

Update: I let it sit for 3 weeks and it is so much more gourmand. It is very very gooey marshmallowly now. This is so gorgeous. Arabiyat Prestige has become my favourite Arab house, their scents just have such incredible depth and quality. This one was love at first sniff. It is an extremely prominent deep syrupy raspberry with a smooth syrupy caramel. I would say its more fruity scent than gourmand scent, like a fruit juice rather than a dessert, but its not so juicy that it just feels watery like the juicy scents I stay away from, this is like the concentrate. Also the marketing of raspberry ripple ice cream is what piqued my interest in the first place, I have to say it is creamy but only in the opening is it most similar to raspberry ice cream and as it dries down the creaminess lessens and the caramel, fruit juice concentrate vibe is stronger. Uhud by the same brand is much closer to that raspberry ice cream, much creamier, but as Uhud has matured in my collection it leans closer to vanilla ice cream and the raspberry is less prominent which I was sad to see as I loved the raspberry. Well here I get an even more delicious stronger raspberry so I will be layering the two to get that vibe again! Also there is some floral that makes it lean a little shampooey if you are nitpicking but its not very prominent and overall its a lovely treat.- Update : glad to say the shampooey notes have completely disappeared.

Update: This has been macerating for almost a year. I was actually trying to sell it and couldn't. I figured to give it a go again and oh my god! Fluffy, whipped cream strawberry with slight raspberry. Its a lot softer now and not as screachy when I got it. Im glad I couldn't sell it cos its an amazing summer fragrance. Its light and the projection isn't crazy.

I completely blind bought this. It was not even listed on Fragrantica when I ordered it. In the store this was mentioned as "Inspired by" Kayali VCRS but ths is not accurate. This starts with a strong note of raspberry and vanilla. In the following minutes the floral notes start to emerge and they give a slight soapy vibe, making the fragrance smell almost like a raspberry scented fabric softener but that fades away fast. Then the vanilla and the caramel start to thicken giving a thich goo-y marshmallow vibe. Great longevity and overall performance. Relatively blind buy safe.

Oddly this reminds me of a fruitier version of Kayali Wedding Silk Santal. Overall though the perfume just reminds me of shampoo.

Not my favorite cup of tea, but something in its favor is that it smells exactly as the note says. For me, it's so-and-so—not bad, not good—just another strawberry sweet scent.
