I got this today and I came here to answer the question everyone is wondering about: how similar is this to French Avenue's Spectre Ghost? Honestly, not very different BUT it's not redundant to have both, if you like this DNA, that is. So, imagine two icecream cones with 3 scoops of icecream in them, yeah? Good. Now, both have the same first 2 scoops. The Uprising icecream has a scoop of with a prominent melon+other fruity stuff on the top, while Ghost has a darker, smoky, citrusy scoop on the top. It feels as if you can eat Uprising year-round while Ghost is more suited for the colder seasons. Similar to Ghost, I seem to go noseblind to this super fast. Or the performance is just bad out of the box. I can't really tell tbh, but it smells super nice. Nothing screechy or cheap. Good quality smell.

Just got it 10 minutes ago. I don't know what to say a little bit disappointing 😕 I don't like it. If nishane ani x smell similar I don't understand the price tag.... But this is out of the box first impression so Leave it now for 2-3 weeks and I will be back and will review after let sit a bit. Edit: After 2 weeks is become so nice. Gingery and slightly spicy and so nice vanilla and caramel in dry down. This fragrance need to be sit for 2-3 weeks don't judge it by first try. Leave it and will see the magic come through!

Nishane Ani X clone, my new signature scent. Versatile, modern, alluring, mysterious. Amazing! I purchased on Amazon for £40. BTW vanilla should be listed as one of the base notes I believe.

How is this compared to French Avenue's Spectre Ghost?

Amazing scent and quite versatile. As someone from Bengaluru (indian skin and indian weather), the performance I got was very poor. Don't feel it could beat the alternative from French Avenue in terms of longevity and sillage, but it's much fresher and pleasant, especially with the melon note.

Personally... When I first sprayed it, it makes me nauseous almost like smelling spoiled milk. On the other hand, once it dries down, it actually smells pretty nice! It's just the initial spray doesn't agree with my nose and makes my stomach turn.

somehow, initial spray reminded me of aventus dna like the one in armaf cdni, vanguard (but this one is more fruity). the dry down still has that aventus dna but toned down to like 40%, the other 60% is this some old smoky vanilla if that makes sense. smelled it from a tester i got but who knows if they pack the wrong thing idk
