Cotton Blush

It opens with a pleasant, jammy rosy scent. Overall, it is a sweet floral fragrance. It’s not airy or fluffy, and I don’t really notice any other notes besides the roses. If you truly love floral scents, you will definitely enjoy this one. However, if you’re like me and looking for a balanced fruity-floral perfume, you might find the rose here a bit overwhelming. It also has a DNA similar to Lancôme’s floral perfumes. Update: I tried layering it with a fruity perfume, and I was pleasantly surprised by the combination. The fragrance became more balanced, feminine, and refined. It actually felt like I was wearing a high-end perfume. I highly recommend layering it with a fruity scent — it really makes a difference.

This scent is irresistible! Sweet rose and coconut marshmallow, with a freshness to it. Very playful and cute gourmand-leaning scent, with great sillage and good longevity*. This is pretty close to Marc Jacobs Daisy Murakami Pink, but much stronger, and for a fraction of the price. There is also a fresh fruitiness to this, which allows it to remain light and lifted and and never become a fully sticky or cloying gourmand. This is going to be really fun to wear in spring/summer! *A note about longevity: it's projects a ton for the first 2 hours. Then slowly settles closer to the skin, and stays there eternally.

I really like this. It’s pretty and unique. I would say it’s in the same family as the GG Blushes and Marshmallow Blush, but different. This is more of a flormand indeed, but the berries are prominent. I’m getting sick of the sickly sweet gourmands personally so this is refreshing. As it dries down the amber, musk and vanilla are coming through and the pretty pinkness is less prominent. This maybe one I will want to keep spraying to get the cutie opening. It’s nostalgic too. Reminds me of an older scent. I may need a full bottle, plus isn’t the bottle cute too?

This is such a pleasant, soft, feminine scent. Not too sweet and definitely not "soapy" as the person below has indicated. This opens very similar to CH GG Blush, but the dry down is different. The dry down is more peony and vanilla forward. I just received my bottle a couple of days ago, so I can't speak to the longevity yet. But, I'm hoping as it matures, the scent will become stronger.

Love this!! Very interesting scent due to it smelling like a mix of GG Blush and YBM and a touch of the DBIR DNA as well... super long lasting and sweet. Underrated for sure, I feel like most people aren’t checking for this one due to the kitschy bottle. The juice inside is excellent! Girlie sexy and fun perfect for all year round wear.

I think this is the best out of the sugar line, but it doesn’t have a gourmand sugary feel. This is a floral leaning scent with pops of fruitiness that gives it that upscale vibe. I truly love this fragrance, and I have gotten many compliments as well.

Cotton Blush immediately evokes the spirit of Carolina Herrera’s Very Good Girl, but with a subtly smoother, more rounded texture. Cotton Blush offers a slightly different take: it trades the jammy sharpness for a gentle, non-cloying coconut smoothness. Despite its name, the sugary aspect is very subdued; I don't get a true cotton candy note, but rather a light sweetness that just softens the edges of the florals. Do you need this scent? Absolutely not, but the bottle is cute and I like to layer scents. Since this is so affordable and mild, it does have potential as a layering superstar. Its light, smooth, and fruit-forward profile, combined with the mild projection, makes it the perfect anchor for enhancing other perfumes. It can add a soft fruity lift to a deep vanilla or inject a touch of summery sweetness into a woody scent. If you love the profile of Very Good Girl but seek a more affordable, non-intrusive scent to use liberally for layering or for a subtle, office-friendly daily wear, Cotton Blush is an excellent and economical choice.

I thought this will be another YBM frag but I was pleasantly surprised. This is soft, feminine, slightly delicious yet elegant. The bottle does not represent the scent. I get more edible florals rather than ice cream vibe and I really like that as I'm not a fan of intense gourmands. The performance is mid but might be too early to judge till I let it mature a bit longer, although with the price of this, you can't be mad. Overall a pleasant fragrance.

I didnt pick this one up because it kind of reminded me of Raspberry Ripple by the same brand which I already have. Its a pretty flormand.

Very sweet floral. Reminds me DBIR but with a more strawberry and raspberry note. Very feminine and sexy.

I smell sweet & wood. Smell is long-lasting & who wouldn't want a perfume that looks like ice cream????

To my nose, there's no coconut or marshmallow, which is disappointing. This is similar to Nuha Vanilla Pearl (top notes of blackcurrant, strawberry, and freesia; middle notes of raspberry, cashmere wood and magnolia; base notes of vanilla, caramel, and moss) except it's a musk dominant version without the sparkly strawberry and blackcurrant. I'll let her sit for a while, but the marshmallow and coconut notes won't magically appear.

This isn’t gourmand like you would expect it to be. It’s nice, but the peony is overpowering...

If you love florals this one is for you! The peony and rose notes come through strong on me and I'm not a fan. Also annoyed that it was marketed in an ice cream bottle like it is sweet and named Cotton Blush :( Does have some sweetness but just not for me- not good on my skin and went back. Love the rest of the Arabiyat sugar line though they are amazing!

Its so soapy 🧼🙈🙈 I cannot smell any cotton, this is not gourmand, its closer to designer or celebrity perfume.

Despite the name suggesting a fluffy, sugary cotton‐candy scent, Cotton Blush leans much more fruity‐floral on my skin, to my nose. The sweetness is there but it’s secondary to the strong presence of rose and peony, which really take center stage, IMHO. The projection is very strong, so strong that my first spray actually gave me a bit of a headache. In fairness, I had just tested 15 Arabiyat Sugar scents back‐to‐back, so after that many sweet gourmands in the air, a little migraine effect was probably inevitable. Still, at this price point and with that adorable bottle matching the rest of the Arabiyat Sugar lineup, I’m not complaining. I’m perfectly happy to let it sit, settle and macerate, and see how it softens and develops over time.

So compared this to GGBE on each arm and in the air they’re pretty much identical but if you stick your nose to your skin it’s not as smooth and sweet. gGBE is richer but like I said in the air can’t tell the difference

Opens very close to GG Blush, then as it dries, more rose comes out. I much prefer the real thing... don’t get and DBIR nor YBM.

The drydown smells so much like DBIR intense on my skin. Just a fluffier, more girly and pudding-y version of it.
