Wow, never in a million years would I expect Aramis to make a complete masterpiece fragrance like this!! The smell of this is dark blue and green, with lots of musk and ambroxan. Let me explain exactly what this smells like it has the same Ambroxan/musk combination that Dylan blue and acqua essenziale blu has, it's also got citrus and cypriol combination which makes it feel a bit green and citrusy, has a bit of a smokey woody depth to it such as dylan blue/bleu de chanel without actually smelling like BDC. However the closest this fragrance comes to is Acqua essenziale blue which is discontinued, but Lacoste attempted to make something similar with Lacoste original EDP (in the green bottle). The dry down becomes a bit powdery from which i'm assuming is iris or cardamom and that's what makes the difference between this smelling like Dylan blue or acqua essenziale blu is that dylan blue didn't have the powdery dry down that Acqua essenziale blu did have however Lacoste original EDP does have it too.

Not your average blue. No comparison to Sauvage or BDC other than being a designer blue. It's doing it's own thing, which I appreciate. Has a earthy/leathery edge to it that I really enjoy. The leather in this reminds me of the leather in CH Bad Boy Elixir. This is done quite well. It stands out, it's a unique blue fragrance. The performance is great. Great for the office, good for warm to cool weather. Not a good summer day/high heat blue. Price is fantastic now that it can be found at off-price retailers like Marshalls. I got a box set with 3.4oz and a 10ml for $60 USD. Happy to have it in my collection and I'm very impressed with it.

This is actually great! -Open: fresh, clean, shower gel, Blue -Mid: Dry Wood, Faintly Smoky -Base: Clean Leather, Faintly Smoky, Dry Wood Note: The fresh “Blue” opening transforms into a dry, woody smell after about 45 minutes. Once into the Mid, Most of those fresh notes from the opening are gone. There’s an addictive leather transition from the mid to the far drydown which overall leaves me feeling confident late into the wearing. I’d recommend.

Surprisingly good! Being a huge fan of the house of Aramis, I was really sad to learn about the discontinuation of almost all offerings. This re-introduction made me think this would be another cheap ambroxan bomb like Sauvage or Bleu, but this is another take. Nice, fresh, sophisticated, different enough and classy. I really like it! And a gorgeous quality bottle. Very happy. Aramis, please bring back the original formula of 900!

Aramis Intuition is a great fragrance. It’s a great value and was created by master perfumer Carlos benaim. Its uniqueness is in the leather note. It gives it an addictive signature. I get so many compliments. If you’re looking for a fragrance without spending the money of Sauvage, but for sure to get you compliments this is it. How great for a classic nostalgic brand to come out with this!

I have no idea why people are so negative! Fragrantica has become so biased and filled with hate comments and ratings these days! It’s actually a great and beautiful Aramis DNA cologne, but more modern! My only complaint is that it doesn’t last long. But for $100, what other brand cologne can you buy that smells this well? Stop hating and lying!

I tested this in Ulta and it smells great! It's blue and definitely ambroxan heavy, but smells nothing like Sauvage to me. I will be buying it when it comes down in price.

Going by the bottle design and that it’s listed as a “neo-fougere” I bet it’s gonna be a Sauvage twist.

Intuition is the typical masculine blue fragrance bottled by Aramis and sold for a reasonable price. For men who like a classic fougere scent, you have an in this perfume an affordable alternative to Chanel, Prada, Dior and a handful of other designer brands. Scent wise is same old thing, but Aramis offers it for less than the higher end brands. If you’re interested into Sauvage, Luna Rossa, Bleu de Chanel, Bad Boy Cobalt but want something more budget friendly, Intuition is the best option! It doesn’t smell like a chemical bomb, like some Arab dupes do, it’s a well blended, well put together scent, with a perfect balance of aromatics, ambers, marine and citrusy, bitter accents. Not as long lasting as some of the fragrances mentioned above but you can respray it throughout the day without breaking the bank. Safe, polite, reliable and affordable! It’s not bad at all, Aramis!!

Intuition by Aramis is an aromatic, spicy, and woody fragrance. The opening is fresh and floral, very aromatic with some subtle citrus notes and lavender, along with slightly earthy undertones. As it develops, woody and slightly leathery accords emerge without losing the fresh, aromatic elements, but these add a more masculine facet to the scent. I think Intuition is primarily a daytime fragrance, but it could also be worn at night, in the office, for casual outings, or even for everyday wear. Its longevity is good; on me, it lasted between 7 and 8 hours with moderate sillage, gradually fading until it became close to the skin. It had been many years since I'd tried a new Aramis fragrance, and this recent release is very pleasant, with mass appeal, though not particularly unique, but undeniably enjoyable and masculine.

Just got my bottle of this stuff today. I am really happy with it. It's a super safe blind buy, and I can't imagine anyone being offended by it. If you like Sauvage, BDC, Dylan Blue, etc., this is going to be right up your alley. And I think this one is different enough that it won't be redundant if you own any of those. If you are a hardcore fragrance collector constantly chasing a standout type fragrance, this isn't going to be it. However, if you are just looking for a versatile, well blended, easy grab, then pick this one up. Maybe it's my skin chemistry, but as someone who owns a healthy mix of niche and designer fragrances, let's face it - the "blue" fragrances (like this one) are always the ones that get me a ton of compliments.

Like everyone is saying, I received my free sample in the mail. It is 100% a mass appealing designer fragrance. It reminds me of YSL Y edp, Prada Ocean, Gucci Guilty, or something along those lines. The only difference here is that once it dries down, I'm getting notes of leather - so this one has that slightly more gentleman's edge. It's nice. It's not offensive. Perfect for the office. I like it, but I don't love it. For an every day, it's perfect. For the wow factor... eh. The opening is better than the dry down- but which fragrance isn't?

Yeah, this is a Sauvage fragrance. It's fine. The Sauvage clone I own is The Pride of Armaf, which is MUCH cheaper and does it better. This has maybe a bit more wood? Nothing wrong with it. If someone gave a bottle of Intuition to me (or a sample, which is what I'm reviewing), I'd use it from time to time, but paying retail would be absurd. I don't really know why we're getting additional new Sauvage clones in 2025, and the bottle looks like one of the knockoffs they don't lock up at TJ Maxx.

My personal opinion: It’s Prada Ocean. It’s a little Bleu de Chanel. It’s a little Sauvage. It’s a little of this thing that you’ve smelled. It's a little of that fragrance you already have. If you can find a 3.4 oz under $60 I think you’ve paid a fair price. Anything under that makes this a candidate for an “underrated" dupe on your shelf. If you’re a first time buyer or giving a gift it’s a pretty safe pick. Hope this helps! Best of luck! SYL

Starts of like a smooth blue fragrance with some citrus and then dries down to a very slightly sweet green scent with a hint of leather. I'm not a huge fan of the dry down, it's not bad at all but not worth buying for me personally. I'm not super into green frags. The notes I've been able to find are: Grapefruit lavender, patchouli, orris leather (cuirissima LXR), vetiver

This is a nice little scent, but wtf is with the RRP!? This is destined to flop just due to the pricing. If this was around £50 i think it would sell really well, but nearly £90 for 100ml is absolutely crazy. C'mon now 🙃 *Update* i got a 100ml bottle for less than £45 delivered, so happy enough to add this to the collection. 6/10 'for now'

I have it and it's nice. The question is: will I buy it again if I run out? The answer is no. It's a blue fresh with lavender, and I'm also getting some type of citrus (Grapefruit) with earthy notes of moss in the dry down. I will wear this at the office, on my regular morning routines, but it could also project well at night.

Basic and unoriginal but very pleasant. In line with sauvage and bleu de chanel, has that airy fruit feel of grapefruit and ambroxin. The quality is as you'd expect its pretty shower gel-y, but doesn't smell cheap. Just generic. Performance is average. I'd buy this if it was much cheaper, this stuff is not worth £87 for 100ml

I'm not really into blue shower gel fragrances usually, but I like this one, it reminds me of something that Issey would make. The dry down on this has depth and gives it character. I'm not a huge fan of the opening, but it's not bad. But the dry down is more of my liking for sure.

An odd release. Bland, safe, fruity fresh shower gel vibe, currently overpriced. For the same ££, theres D&G light blue intense, either the male or female versions are excellent and capture 'fresh' way better. Honestly, Cool Water beats Intuition, thats £15 a bottle. 3/5

This smells like you’re in a bar with friends; a fireplace is going, one of your friends is wearing a brand new leather jacket, another is wearing BDC or Sauvage. Great for the office or weekend - I’d only use it in autumn / winter though.

I was gifted this, so I can't be too harsh on it. Would I personally buy this, probably not, but I'm not saying it's bad. Basic reminds me of BDC and Dior sausage. This is pretty much the definition of a safe men's fragrance.

Sauvage meets BDC with an Aramis Drydown. Projection is moderate; sillage is OK. Picked up the 3.4oz and a .5oz in a boxset at TJ Maxx for 38usd, and feel its well worth the price.

I don't think this is a great choice at MSRP. However, at steep discount, I think it could be a compelling choice if the lack of projection is a benefit rather than a bane.

An extremely mature blue barbershop scent. It's honestly better than some reviewers are saying. Personally I prefer this over most if the other basic blues on the market.

BDC energy with a twist.... Aramis is 12 years late to the blue fragrance game. Smells nice, but highly redundant DNA at this point.

Certainly Sauvage-esque and very generic. It's not a bad fragrance whatsoever but it's just nothing new.

Smell very nice proper shower gel fragrance reminds me of prada luna rossa ocean smells fantastic.

A LOT of lavender in this here frag. Some bitter grapefruit/lime peel accord in the opening. Pretty woody throughout, a hint of ash, and then a slight leather base. Smells like lavender soap when most of the scent fades away after a few hours. The name Intuition is pretty ironic in my opinion. The word intuition to me means something that comes without trying. This fragrance just feels like it's trying too hard, or like forcing its way into the designer blue world by making your nose tingle, but it's not in a good way. It does project quite a bit for a while with just a couple small sprays, so if you want to get noticed, this thing could work but I think it would get mixed reactions. I'd not recommend spraying this and then getting in a carpool or busy elevator soon after. The more I wear my sample, the more I get used to it. But my opinion is 6 out of 10 at best for Intuition.

Surprisingly, Aramis Intuition is not as god-awful as I was expecting it to be, it’s actually rather pleasant (if I’m being generous). Why you may ask? Well it’s because it’s completely derivative of other successful perfumes on the market of course. It’s fresh spicy, clean, soapy and blue. Mostly reminiscent of Bleu de Chanel, but overloaded with amberwoods and grassy aromatics, therefore lacking the class and sophistication Chanel provides. It’s not terrible, as in my nose doesn’t turn up when I smell it, but neither is it particularly good. There’s no temptation for me to buy this or even wear my sample.

I was really excited to try this after receiving a sample! It has a crisp, fresh scent that immediately reminded me of walking out of a barbershop—minus the shave. It definitely nails that clean, post-shower vibe, making it a solid choice for those who love refreshing fragrances. That said, while it smells fantastic, it doesn’t quite stand out against the rest of my collection. It’s pleasant and invigorating, but lacks that unique edge I was hoping for. Still, if you're after something light and clean to throw on after a shower, this one’s worth a try!

Starts off as a typical blue scent but emerges into a fougere as the lavender takes over. It has a somewhat mature vibe and after an hour or so the dirty notes of leather and patchouli arise with the earthy and dirtiness of vetiver. TBH I have no idea who this is targeted to as ME scents have flooded the market so most just hit up rack stores. Maybe for folks that remember the yesteryears of Aramis but this will be discontinued shortly I believe.

This quite literally is a clone of Sauvage. Had a few people around me ask if I was wearing it too. Why on earth you would buy this when Sauvage is cheaper per ml (at least in the UK) is beyond me. You are hit with the same familiar Ambroxan note straight away, if you love Sauvage and want to build a collection of clones that smell the exact way but in different bottles, you’ve found your next addition. Can’t recommend as Sauvage is cheaper

I just got my sample in the mail. To my nose this smells nearly identical to Calvin Klein - ‘Defy’, especially the Eau de Parfum concentration. Minus the leather note. It’s not very strong, smells quite generic in a blue shower gel scent kind of way. Definitely likely to end up in discounters and rack stores quickly after release. A big disappointment from the Aramis house that released such masculine classics over the last 50+ years.

I guess it does have a Sauvage and Luna Rossa type of vibe. But it's nowhere as strong as either. This totally has the aramis DNA but in a new "blue" style. It smells like a blue fragrance for an older man. But it's not really an old person smell. It's not bad. To me it's just a basic blue barbershop clean fragrance . Don't get this expecting anything like Sauvage or Luna. It's ok 5/10

A very okay generic designer imo. Smells generic blueish with a mature leathery background. Sorta like Ocean i think. Sauvage, no. No idea where that's coming from, didn't remind me of that at all. Reminds me of some sort of CK or Burberry, or anything really! Much better in this price range... Like Dylan blue or Explorer.

Got a free sample through an ad, definitely not worth the price tag on it. Even the presentation looks cheap and trying hard to be a Sauvage/BDC clone and it smells just like that, just a generic blue fragrance. Reminds me of those bottles of cheap cologne at Tj-Max/Marshalls that aren’t locked up or some cheap aftershave.

Meh. Opens like the frag counter at Macy’s. Dries down to old school Azzaro Pour Homme.

I would like this if it was cheaper. This is your beginner blue fragrance, lined up with Eros, Sauvage, Bleu, Y and Polo 67. Take your pick, but it's not the best option. This is Aramis' attempt to get back in the mainstream, and I hate that. They could've done something different and unique instead of trying to fit right in with the most oversaturated fragrance genre, but they didn't and now we have this. Its ambassador is Dwayne Wade, and they sent their fragrances to small menswear influencers. tspmo ngl, just wish they did something different. Not worth your attention. They talk about all the notes it has like you can smell any of em. It's just a shower gel sweet citrus fragrance. That's it bruh.

Got my free sample in the mail -- I wanted it because it was free. It's a horribly generic blue fragrance. it's aquatic, fresh, with a powdery undertone I really can't place. It is not good. Not my style at all. It lacks grit and earthiness. It smells like you got out of the shower after washing with Dove and applied Axe. Luckily I just got a sample and not a full bottle. But I don't really dig "blue"frags anyway.

Was given a sample of this recently. The opening is fresh, like a peppery grapefruit skin. After few minutes, it starts to smell very earthy and lavender slowly starts to kick in. But after that... it just smells like cheap cologne. Boring scent overall, nothing original or noticable about it. My jaw dropped when I saw that a full bottle costs as much as a designer fragrance. Would not spend a penny on this. 3/10.

Smells like a generic generic Chanel BDC edt. That’s it. Maybe polo blue esk. I have them all here to compare. This showed up this morning. Imagine a 15-25$ clone of bleu de chanel edt. This is wild for the money. Legit sprayed two sprays 25 mins ago and went upstairs to show my wife, and it was gone lol. The price is insane. Thankfully they sent me a sample.

Wow i've got a sample of this with another order. I can tell you this is the most genericest, cheap smelling, uninspiring fragrance i ever smelled. And all this could be forgivable but it's so wayyyyyy overpriced. This whole package that they try to sell it as a nice quality fragrance which is not... make this atrocius for me. Unintuitive.

Has this fresh opening that I initially thought was ok but dries down into this weird bitter synthetic leather smell that just smells weird on my skin.

If there were ever a release from an Estee Lauder brand that says, "We don't care anymore," THIS would be it! NO, I haven't tried the fragrance. YES, I'm writing a review on it--not the scent, but the blatant laziness Estee Lauder is exemplifying here. Lauder's been in trouble for the past year or so (major lawsuit regarding defrauding shareholders), decline in sales within certain sectors, etc. It got so bad, they ditched their CEO, Fabrizio Freda, and replaced him with Stéphane de la Faverie, who was quoted saying the following this past spring in a post-earnings call. “Simply said, we lost our agility." If Stéphane thinks agility is simply recycling an old fragrance name (Intuition) from the Lauder portfolio of the past and putting it in a bottle that looks looks like Blue de Chanel and Sauvage fornicated and had a child, he's clueless! In addition, for someone who's been compensated a hefty $5.94 million for his "duties" within the company, that makes him GROSSLY overpaid, too! BS like this drives me mad!
