If you’re looking for a good, cheaper alternative to Kilian’s Angel’s Share On the Rocks; this is one of the best fragrances to get. The opening is very slightly fresher and more citrus-zest forward compared to OTR. The dry down is also very similar to OTR but I’d say it’s just a bit brighter and less boozy. For the price it’s one of the best alternatives to Kilian’s og. I think it’s definitely more suited to spring/summer but it could be worn year round, however the freshness from the citrus in the opening may not work for the colder seasons. Sillage is decent and I can smell it when sitting near friends at the same table. The longevity is quite good lasting around 8 hours on myself. Presentation is 10/10 with the box Ard al Zaafaran gives you with the bottle being in my opinion better than Kilian’s OTR. The blend from clear glass to frosted is just so good and looks so much better than Kilian’s full frosted glass into clear cap look (not to bash Kilian as I love the bottle design but Aabinus just gets the look right). 50 bucks vs 350; get it if you like the OTR DNA but can’t afford it, I really think this is a good take on it.

I have been on the hunt for a good dupe of Kilian’s Angels Share On the Rocks. This comes pretty darn close. I love that it’s spicy and sweet while also feeling a bit fresh from the citrus notes. I feel like this is a fragrance you could wear any time of the year honestly. I would prefer to wear it during the day time. Has decent sillage and longevity. Somewhere between moderate and better than moderate for both sillage and longevity. I find that it is very unisex. I’m a woman that loves gourmands and sweet fruity/vanilla fragrances but I also love fresh completely unisex fragrances. I am not one to like more male or completely male DNAs. I feel like this is a good middle ground. If you wish the Angels Share DNA had a bit more freshness, this is the one for you without a doubt.
