**UPDATE**: The full bottle I ordered finally got to me. It smells NOTHING like the sample I have. The sample I have is described below: sweet/grapey/sweet tobacco/beautiful! The bottle I received is...dark/musky/peppery/ultra masculine. I am completely bummed. Did this get a reformulation? Did I get the wrong sample? Can anyone tell me if their experience has been similar? Maybe I'll keep buying bottles until I find one that's like the sample I have. ___________________________________________ Wow. Ok, I have never heard of this brand, or specific fragrance. It came as a sample given to me for purchasing a different fragrance. I thought to myself, "eh let's give it a whirl" and used it as my SOTD without testing. I have ordered a full bottle. Some have compared this to Ishq Al Shuyukh Silver by Lattafa and I will agree that they are cousins, but not full dupes. The Lattafa is spicier, a little more screechy and 100% more masculine smelling. Mousuf is sweet in a dark, sensual sort of way. The grapes are at the top and smell as though you're sitting next to someone who is drinking a grape soda--it's noticeable, but not in your face syrupy. The dry down is lead by the toffee, but the musk note tones that down to a balanced scent. I do get tobacco, but it's a sweet tobacco that blends nicely with the toffee and musk. Huge surprise win for me!

#19 Review of My Fragrances Collection I get it from my best friend its a good cheapie fragrance. I didnt get any tobacco notes on this just sweet fruity notes and flower. The blend between sweet fruity and floral make it perfect i like it after i maceate it almost 1 year. For the price at marketplace Rp260.000 or 15-16 Dollar. The longevity and the projection is moderete but what you expect from cheap fragrance. Its still good fragrance for the price. Scent: 7/10 Longevity: 5/10 Projection: 5/10 Price Value: 8/10

Real notes from the Ard Al Zaafaran website are: Top Notes: Pineapple, Lemon, Bergamot Heart Notes: Hazelnut, Black Pepper Base Notes: Amberwood Accord, Patchouli, Cedarwood If you've ever smelled the perfume you definitely know the notes listed in Fragrantica don't make sense.

Most of the previous reviews seems to be reviewing a different Mousuf flanker, this is the brown bottle one. The name is just Mousuf and the listed notes here are all correct. Love this scent! Strong out of the box but I’m sure will get smoother in time. So underrated.

very good clone of 1 million lucky, unfortunately the notes are completely wrong on here, misleading alot of people otherwise the rating would be much higher, this is also unisex so theres that too

If you like your gourmands with a darker twist, Mousuf is it. Grapes dipped in chocolate, a soft oud musk core, then toffee and tobacco that keeps it from turning childish.

Pineapple hazelnut scent with some wood and a gorgeous smoky quality. Pretty good clone of 1 Million Lucky.

The first spray smells fruity and juicy, but I can't help but notice how screeching it can come across. I think this is slightly on the synthetic spectrum. Don't let that deter you though, as it's just in the opening. The progress after the fruity phase is a woody sweetness. I think the "chocolate" is contributing to its sweetness. I also get the musk as it dries down. Part of this fragrance reminds me of a clone of Oud Malaki(Killer Oud Death By Oud), and the other part reminds me of Paco Robanne 1 million lucky. The whole composition smells eerie familiar. This can be worn casually, or even more perfectly as an office scent. It's unisex to me, but leans slightly masculine. Performance is okay. 7hrs+ with an above average projection. This is a fragrance I've been shying away from for years now due to how it was everywhere, but yeah, it was "everywhere" for a reason—It's a very good value for money. I would've given this a 6.0, but for the price and overall smell: 6.5.

I got a free sample of this with another order. It’s warm, sexy and sweet. There’s something familiar about it too. I think it’s right in the middle of unisex. If it wasn’t as sweet, it would probably lean more male. I have other supposedly unisex ME perfumes that have a lot of wood and to me that makes them lean more male and keeps me from reaching for them. I’m female so not a fan of super masculine leaning scents. In fact, I might even say this leans more feminine. It is gourmand, I really get the grapes and chocolate in the opening, while those linger in the background with the praline becoming more prominent in the dry down. The tobacco and floral notes keep it from veering into synthetic sweet territory. And there is no offensive oud here. I will stick to my large sample, but I can totally see myself buying a big bottle by next fall especially since this is $20.

Nose Note #71 Wonderful sweet scent. I have plenty of sweet fragrances, but this one is different. At first I thought it was too sweet, but now it seems okay. I don't see anything manly about it and I can't pick out individual notes asides from toffee. I heard a number of people say they smell rotten grapes, or a fruity yogurt that went off. I smell nothing of the like. It's just a good sweet fragrance for dirt cheap. Doesn't smell cheap though. Haven't smelled the OG, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was no worse. Can't say I love it though. Just misses something to stick with me. I do casually enjoy it. My wife liked it, that's a rare compliment. She said it reminded her of a typical upper-class perfume shop. It was definately worth a try. Good sweet one for all-year-round running errands.

interesting fragrance, idk if I got scammed on mine or not, but for me, it sprays on with this "You're at the dentist office and your face is numb, a sterile smell of rubbing alcohol" scent, but give it time to dry down and it really does turn into a solid enough top note of citrus...fruit forward. I could be going insane, but there's almost a vanilla undertone to it at the top as well. Not Althair vanilla, but a synthetic, yet still semi-pleasant vanilla. Projection immediately after spraying is STRONG. I had my wrist 3 feet from my face and caught a WHIFF of it. Can't really speak on Sillage. Projection post-dry down could be better, but you get what you pay for.

1) The notes for this perfume above are ALL WRONG. @Perthwolves listed the correct notes below. How do we tag an admin to change them as people will be disappointed if they buy this perfume based on the above incorrect notes! 2) My review: VERY, VERY CITRUS. Like, 90% citrus to me. Buttttt, I LOVE it! The dry down is sweeter and sexy. The perfume is super strong. Very unisex, initially leaning towards more masculine, with a softer dry down.

The instant I sprayed this, I knew this was a Baccarat Rouge 540 clone. Candy apple, vanilla, musk and caramel/chocolate notes. It is right up there with Armaf Untold and Franck Olivier Pure Addiction, but if $25 - $30 is too expensive for you, you can get a bottle of this for $6 for a 50ml bottle. I was expecting this to smell more synthetic, but it is virtually indistinguishable from the others. Lasts 5 hours on skin, 8 on clothing.

This is straight forward a One Million Lucky clone. very very affordable and does a great job.

Mousuf is a decent inspo fragrance, but lacks performance and doesn't capture the honey note. For the price it's a decent fragrance, but in my opinion Ishq Al Shuyukh Silver although still missing some of the honey and nut notes dkes a better job and has better overall performance and sillage.

Mousuf positions itself as a musky gourmand fragrance, but its execution leaves much to be desired. The opening greets you with a fruity accord that holds a fleeting charm, only to lightly shift into a sweet, woody profile tinged with a faint aftershave vibe and the subtle disappointment of desserts forgotten deep in the fridge. While this progression sounds 'promising' on paper, the fragrance ultimately falls flat. Its lack of distinctive character renders it uninspired and forgettable. Despite being stored for over a year, the scent remains static, showing no evolution or deepening over time. It feels like a fragrance that exists for a moment and then fades — both figuratively and literally. The projection is barely noticeable, and the longevity is disappointing, making it difficult to appreciate even during the brief window when it's detectable. Adding to the letdown is the glaring mismatch between the fragrance's actual profile and its description on Fragrantica. The listed pyramid appears completely detached from what Mousuf delivers. This scent lands squarely in the realm of basic drugstore fragrances. While it's not offensive, it carries a distinctly cheap aroma that further detracts from its appeal. Is Mousuf bad? Not really. But does it justify a place in any collection? Hardly. Why buy this? That's the lingering question. It's certainly not compelling. With so many better-performing, more complex options available — often at a similar or lower price — there's little reason to choose this one. For those seeking value or uniqueness, Mousuf simply fails to deliver. I bought it on ebay ($15.....cheep cheep cheep) because of this description and these notes: "Ard al Zaafaran Mousuf is a sweet fragrance with the notes of musk oud grape and chocolate plus floral notes. A delightful fragrance for those who like a sweet but not too sweet fragrance. Notes are Grape-Accord Chocolate Musk Oud Tobacco Toffee and Floral notes." After a careful scientific olfactory super scentsory analysis I've come to this conclusion: When you combine Grape-Accord Chocolate Musk Oud Tobacco Toffee and Floral notes you get PINEAPPLE. Which (If I may be so bold to add)....is exactly what I did not want. Oh well....$15 for a restroom air freshener isn't so bad. (((smile)))
