Gul Hina

Creamy, powdery and buttery blend of white florals, musk and sandalwood... I find the citrus fades rather quickly as the henna blooms, it’s jasmine and rosy facets being amplified by additions of each without inhibiting it’s tea-like qualities, there also being a very slight smokiness imparted by it as well. I personally don’t pick up as much spiciness as I do that, but I could also see the two being conflated, smokiness having a natural semi-spiced character. I also don’t get as much of a bubblegum aspect as I have from other white floral blends which is a relief to me. And while I’m not normally the biggest fan of white musk, here it’s no less than essential—a soft, powdery blanket cozily wrapping everything together. Great sillage, incredible longevity. I can understand why others could see it as cloying, but I also see the incredible feminine beauty in it. Don’t mind wearing it now and then as a sensitive guy. Best during nights, any season though spring and summer likely best! Bravo, good sir!

This one is a very easy-going fragrance that has a very pleasant, sweet bergamot opening. Henna will join the mid to provide a green freshness and ending on a base of sandalwood and a lot of synthetic musk. I would say magnolia mixed with jasmine is the main note for the first half and a pleasing synthetic musk for the base. A light and pretty jasmine that smells clean in a good way. One of the cheaper ones from the 7th collection and I think this composition reflects that. It is very enjoyable.

When you are having that dream and the most drop-dead gorgeous woman that you have seen before walks past you... This is what she smells like... Gul Hina smells like a beautiful woman from a dream and is BY FAR the best fragrance of this collection... I would NEVER wear this personally... But I love when my wife has it on... Wonderful stuff...

Really pretty frag; while it's a bit too feminine for me to wear personally, it's probably my favorite from this collection.

This took me back to the original pre-IFRA Poison! It drives home how to get the quality we used to get from a mainstream brand in a department store 20 years ago today, you have to find an eccentric Russian perfume/distilling geek operating out of Thailand. That being said, this has the lift and depth of great talent. I can smell the Indian inspiration mixed with classical European structure. Once the florals subside I get the herbal bitter bite of henna, white musks, and a hint of sandalwood. I have avoided sampling Areej le Dore because I didnt want to fall in love with something I could never get again. I only got the sample pack because it wasnt sold out (and apparently not as popular with his followers). But it has made me want to sample more.

That’s the quality you expect from luxury perfume but nowadays you can get it only from just a few wizard-perfumers twisted on vintage, who micromanage all production cycle and constantly seek for rare ingredients. Gul Hina is a scent of a princess from the East, young and mysterious. It’s light and happy, non-trivial green-floral fragrance. Henna flower and bergamot are powerful and crispy, musk gives them some warm sweetness. It stays long, and it’s so feminine.

Too cloyingly sweet for me personally.

Beautiful opening consisting of juicy lemon and clementine, along with a super creamy jasmine, citric rose, tuberose and a hint of foresty camphor. The citruses here are very reminiscent of the sugared citruses in Grandenia but this feels like a thicker, more rewarding fragrance, atleast in the opening. What bothers me most after a while is the powdery, thick cloud of white musk starting to show up and dominate the composition. At the same time though, this aromatic & malty note that gives me a feel of toasted and/or smoked grains with rosemary or lemongrass shows up and gives off a great 'after-scent' with every inhale. I dearly wish we got more of the aforementioned and less sweetness, that would really transform this into something else.

Opens with a prominent magnolia note, it’s fruity floral, has some nuances of green apple and noticeable sweet dewy white floral nuances. The henna is noticeable but it leans more towards the green floral side rather than the typical dense sweet earthy henna. As the scent progresses, it moves from magnolia to a general creamy floral accord of rose and white florals with a slight benzyl acetate bubblegummy feel. The drydown has some faint floral notes, white musk and prominent sandalwood. I enjoyed the magnolia note in the opening but felt that the drydown was underwhelming.

Easy to wear, sweet white floral on the base of white musk, done really well. It is feminine leaning perfume that i personally am not going to wear outside, but occasionally inside is no problem. Main player is white floral, which must be henna and magnolia i think, jasmine works as supporting note. They sit on pleasant, not overdone, creamy, sweet white musk and has a gentle sparkles like champagne bubbles. Perfect weekend fragrance for cooler weather. A strong like

As others have already said, there is a MASSIVE burst of bubblegum-white floral in this, a bit like Jezebel and a few other white florals I've tried (the ones that don't bill themselves as token 'femme' white florals, if that makes any sense). Anyway, this is quite pleasant, and I do like it, but I'm not sure it's a 'me' kind of scent, to be honest. I'd love to smell this on someone else, but I don't see myself wearing this one...

Cheap body mist/hair mist vibes. Henna is nowhere to be found. Extremely synthetic and cloying. Many fragrances are cheaper that do this style better. Reminds me of something you can find at Victoria’s Secret.

Sort of smells like plastic off brand Barbie dolls and other My Little Pony-adjacent toys of the 80s/90s... they used to be sugared up with a floral scent to hide the plastic fumes.
