Pink Kinam

I've never smelled anything quite like this, so will do my best to describe - Chic aquatic, fresh, aromatic/herbal floral oriental. The composition is so simple, it really let's the quality of the ingredients do their thing. The perfume behaves with minimal transitions, almost a single accord throughout the wear. Bright, dewy mint leaves mingling with freshly plucked neroli petals. It almost leans in the clean linen direction, but just flirts with the line. The Kinam is giving structure and the ambergris seems to be filling in the gaps to give the composition some detail, contrast, and depth. I'm not familiar with the aroma of lotus on its own and haven't smelled it in enough compositions to be able to discern. There is a playful pink quality to the perfume like the ripe, juicy flesh of guava. Addictive. Unique. Refreshing.

A nice balance of lotus and neroli, interesting given how delicate a pink lotus can be. The Kinam isn’t a major player but it’s there. Anyone who’s ever tried Homage by Amouage would have to admit there’s no real similarity here as Homage is first and foremost and homage to Rose, completely absent here.

Id call it Neroli Blanc rather than Pink Kinam. Very bright, uplifting, soapy and green attar thats very clean and inofensive. Lotus is not as prominent and green kinam is not a main player, but they do contribute to a symphony. Closest relative would be Homage by Amouage, but Areej is better quality and notes are better defined. Good projection and longevity
