Siberian Musk Part II

OK, just got my Siberian Musk II. First impressions. I purchased Russian Musk II a month ago, thinking Siberian may never come on eBay... Then I saw my bottle for sale. I held off at first, 🤔 ng it's excessive to have both. But justified it as an investment. I will treasure it and use it very sparingly. This is an addendum: I'm wearing it today in February 2024. The lime is about the best citrus I have ever experienced! The musk is the strongest note, and more of a raw musk than in Russian Musk II. The other notes are also more raw feeling and ruff compared to Russian M II. I love both of them. I like the raw woodsy vibe of this. I was hoping for more pine but it's here. I 💬 I may enjoy Russian Musk II slightly more. The musk is softer and more expensive raw material in Russian vs Siberian, Russian Adam says. It's more complex and refined, like a vintage Guerlain. Siberian Musk is like a niche Caron Yatagan, but with this exquisite natural musk. I may enjoy my Russian Musk II slightly more. So I will use it and keep this as an investment, enjoying a few sprays per year. I was never a great musk fan, till I discovered natural musk as in Bortnikoff Musk Khabib. If you're looking for the greatest raw musk dominant fragrance, this may be it. Wow! As I'm getting into the mid now, it continues to grow in intensity, more pine, more darkness with some cheesy oud. I may be 🚼 ng my mind. Though Russian Musk II is more refined and composed, I like the rugged awesome rawness of this one better, wow! PS: As some reviews are saying this is very close to Russian Musk... Siberian Musk I and II are very close. But Russian Musk, is in the ballpark, but different enough. This stuff is a very powerful but powdery musk. Very nice considering the shere amount of musk in this frag..... a word of warning, it is very musk strong. The siliage is way out there and one drop of the attar will scent an entire room.....I would say that unless you are a lover of musk then try a sample if you can first as it may be too strong for some. It was a bit strong for me as far as wearing it goes but I will be keeping my attar and will dilute a few drops in a separate vial so i can ware it a bit more easy......It smells lovely but is not what you would want to ware for a meeting or in a crowded dr's office.....space is needed.

A powdery Oriental woody chypre, this is a very popular early offering from Areej Le Dore which quickly sold out and spawned several variants and now an official limited edition remake. The perfume is composed of high quality natural ingredients but remains a pretty unexciting ALD offering compared to their recent output. The perfume opens in typical chypre style with a cloud of citrus accentuated by slight pine and a fruity accord. The heart begins to reveal the deer musk surrounded by pepper, sandalwood, galbanum, cypress and orange blossom. The perfume soon settles into a musky powdery base where the main deer musk note dries off to reveal powdery hints of amber, vetiver, patchouli and Oud. Overall the scent is well blended, leans masculine, and has strong sillage, projection and longevity. Not hugely different from Russian Musk a later offering of this line, this rather uneventful perfume still manages to be a safe buy because of its high quality natural ingredients. Enjoy!

Beautiful pine, citruses, and musk, fairly linear but very pleasant and comforting. SM2 starts off with the pine and citruses projecting vigorously for the first 30 minutes or so, then it quickly tails off to a skin scent that is very musky in nature with hints of patchouli and bergamot. I don't get much oud or sandalwood, but the high quality of the musk is quite discernable. Longevity is 6 hours maximum on my skin which I expected to be longer due to the reviews of SM1. I feel that it would have been better as an EDP for possibly better projection and stability. OE2 is quite the opposite and totally beastly in nature, they actually work very well layered together for the perfect animalic vibe. SM2 is the most versatile and "office-friendly" of ALD's collections along with Russian Musk and shares a lot of similarities with Russian Musk. Some of the rarest ingredients in the world have been used here (hence the price tag and scarcity), so enjoy it whilst you can.

They were obtained from a legal institution that buys only from registered hunters who have permission from the Russian government to hunt a regulated number of wild deer per season. Legal musk grains are available in very limited quantities and are typically only used for traditional medicines. This is one of the reasons why natural musk grains are no longer used in perfumery on a large scale.” [Areej Le Doré] A chypre perfume, it opens quite musky and slightly citrusy, giving a certain freshness that is later contrasted with woody smoky greenish nuances due to a beautiful natural 'oud intertwined with pine and other noble woods until they reach a patchouli slightly chocolatey and well dried with an amber. gently sweetening and balancing the fragrance on drying. Extremely natural fragrance with an old school look. The difference and quality of the MUSK of natural/animal origin used here for the synthetic musks is blatant, which gives the fragrance an animalic but domesticated footprint without a challenge in my view, but it's for those who like MUSK. The apparently antagonistic accords leave the perfume perfectly balanced, delicious and with great performance. Cyprus Aromatic Woody Green Musk Spicy Parfum Extract. Here is another level of niche/indie perfumery. Another beautiful creation by Russian Adam. Top Notes: Italian Bergamot, Tahiti Lemon, Indian Tangerine, Smoky Siberian Pine, Hydrosol Co-Distilled From Fresh Exotic Fruits. Middle Notes: Siberian Wild Deer Musk Grains, Moroccan Orange Blossom, Australian Sandalwood, Galbanum, Cypress, Spices. Base Notes: Papua New Guinea Green ‘Agarwood(‘Oud) Oils, Blue Cypress Absolute, Patchouli, Amber.

A legendary masterpiece from the couldron of Russian Alchemist who transmuted exotic raw materials into an exhilarating blend. Siberian Musk II in its attar form exhibits all the depth carried by its perfume but with lesser projection. It starts off with very sharp citrus and green notes. I do detect pine note very clearly along with cypress in shadow. As the fragrance continues into heart, you venture deep into siberian woods where you will deer musk which is not very animalic or pissy. I do feel a warmness there, feels like you are beinh wrapped by a warm coat made out of deer skin. Sharpness of citrus can still be felt into the heart but it is eventually rounded off by woody sandalwood. The woody musk tone is what you are going to get till the end whereas i also detected vetiver in the last part of its life.

Now i realized why this and "Russian Musk" are firstly sold out, cause both that has neroli, orange blossom, musk mix. It's the usual mix that you can find in designer's perfumes BUT in an extreme high quality ingredients. Lemon, lime, pine, musk, orange bollosm, orange, neroli, sandalwood, & some citrus cocktail. It's cute blend and i believe both smells the same this one & Russian musk. Adam is a great perfume but i just wish that he will make some variety in his upcoming collections! i believe the 2nd & the 3rd and even some of his blends in the 4th collection smells like a variation from his 1st collection. More new ideas will be better.

Holy moly this is good. Just tracked down a bottle and it's way better than I expected. The opening blast reminds me of very high quality super silver haze that my friend's dad used to grow when I was a teen and that imagary alone is worth the price I paid. It's lighter and fresher than RMII and I do prefer this by quite a long stretch. If you see it, buy it
