Cloud Body Mist

Cloud is synthetic and whimsical, with some very understated sexiness. I really think it bears a striking resemblance to In The Stars. It's a wafting, elusive scent that probably contains the same artificial "airy-ness" constituents. It's much, much sweeter than In The Stars though (actually, ITS is scarcely sweet at all). Whatever it is, the particular trait is addictive for me and is becoming something I lean toward, I'd love to try more perfumes with this dynamic. I love how this almost disappates for 10 minutes, only to reappear suddenly in a poof of fragrance. It has a coconut cream/whipped cream undertone. Sometimes I really don't love coconut, but this is really rich without being heavy or cloying. I get some cookie without overwhelming vanilla too. It's not listed, but I swear I smell strawberries! It has a light touch of floral, nothing overly flowery or powdery. It settles into a beautiful, youthful musk. I'm in love with the dry down, I could die and be buried in it happily. This body mist is lighter than the perfume, but i believe it's largely the same outside of the performance being essentially halved.

I love this fragrance and bought it 3 years ago. I mostly smell a cotton-candy (which is coming from the praline, coconut, whipped cream combo). Which usually gives me an headache, but this iteration doesn’t bother me. I would wear it in outside the house, but being in my 30’s I don’t want to publicly smell the same as teenagers. Unfortunately it has already turned and now I can only smell alcohol, synthetic hairspray smell. It’s odd bc I always kept it away from heat, tucked away in a drawer. But maybe it got too cold in my room this winter and the formula became destabilized? It’s strange bc all my other perfume’s and body sprays remains unaffected. And I’ve never heard of body sprays expiring this quickly. I had figured them as far more shelf-stable than their counterparts. I might try to spray some in a smaller bottle and add some cotton candy perfume oil, with lavender, and bergamot, and vanilla and layer it with this scent. I have my tricks. But yeah this is super disappointing. Guess I’ll have to go and buy the actual perfume.

I initially wrote a review on the perfume's page, but I only own this in body mist form. I will definitely be picking up the perfume, however. This is absolutely delectable and well-blended. It's cozy like a cloud, very sweet, and lightly ozonic. I'm honestly surprised by how good this is for a celebrity fragrance. I have a sample of Baccarat Rouge 540 and this does have that scent DNA, but it is not identical. I appreciate something this refreshing and sweet with the slightest hint of literal cloudiness.

Everyone is complaining saying it doesn't last...I get EDT level performance out of this. In all fairness most fragrances perform well on me. Does this smell like BR540? Yes and no. It has the cotton candy sweetness but doesn't come across as elegant. When you're lounging around the house and just want to spray something uplifting that resembles BR540, this will scratch that itch.

I love cloud body mist! It is just nostalgic and youthful and really calming. It pretty much disappears after a being sprayed but it is just lovely. For the price point and volume I am not complaining. Although like any body mist there is an initial strong smell of rubbing alcohol. Can be worn as a sweet unisex.

i don't really smell the alcohol after like 30 seconds. i think it smells good and it's nice to have when i want to smell nice but i don't feel like using my good perfumes

Cloud is such a great fragrance. I love wearing the body mist to top up the perfume throughout the day.

Of course it doesn’t really last but it’s the same smell. No difference. Super affordable.

10/10 everyday anytime scent. Absolutely loved this.

Pure aromachemical weirdness, which some will find overwhelming, some will detect and be indifferent to, some will absolutely love, and others will be entirely anosmic to it. A slightly weaker version of the EFP, for me it's just an easy to reach for body-spray that I can apply when I get out of the shower, and then decide whether or not I want to layer another fragrance on top of it. Obviously I can wear the matching EDP with it, but it works well as a base for pretty much any fragrance that has an ambroxan-esque fixative in it (Orcanox, Firmenich, Givaudan, etc). As with the EDP, it's not a 'dupe' for 'Baccarat Rouge 540' (I own both and when you compare them, you can properly tell the differences between them) but if you like 'BR 540' and can't afford it, but want something roughly in the same ballpark scent-wise (as opposed to money-wise) Ariana Grande's 'Cloud' will be a close enough approximation for most people to enjoy. It's a little less truly unisex than 'BR 540' and doesn't have the same staying power, but again, everyone has their own reactions to both 'Cloud' and 'BR 540' inasmuch as your ability to even perceive either fragrance will depend entirely on how you personally are able to tolerate or even notice the aromachemicals and fixatives used in each of them. A good spray to have on hand for days when you're not sure if you want to go full EDT or EDP, want to have something on you that you yourself can detect, which you can easily use as a base on which to layer other fragrances. I think mine cost me £15 at the Superdrug in town, but I've just looked at the website and it's currently on offer for £9.95, which is a bargain IMHO. I don't know if that price is the same instore (it's 3.30am here and I don't know when I'm next going into town, lol) but I'll check it out the next time I have to venture out to do some shopping. At that price it's worth grabbing another bottle and stashing it away.

i really like this scent! very sweet, kind of reminds me of vanilla whipped cream or a buttercream you'd find on cupcakes. what i think i enjoy most is that it's not powdery like some other sweet scents, makes it a lot less abrasive and very notably gourmand. definitely a more affordable option if you're looking for a milky, sweet scent without heavy powder or floral notes. i will say it doesn't last very long on me, so i recommend using quite a few spritzes or applying it to moisturized skin to get your money's worth!

when I first got this, it smelled like straight alcohol, like you could actually get drunk just by smelling it the way it smelled like alcohol. that was early in August and now in late november it smells a lot better for some reason.. I don't know if it's bc this is a "winter scent" (I don't have a lot of knowledge on that part) or if its because I let it settle over time bc apparently perfumes can different as it ages, which this did fairly well imo. although, I think it smells stronger on clothes than (my) skin

Without a doubt, this body mist perfectly nails that classic Cloud scent that all Ariana Grande fragrance lovers can recognize immediately. It smells exactly like the perfume with a lighter intensity. If Cloud is your go to, you will love this mist to wear to place like the gym where you still want to smell sweet but in a way that seems like you stepped out of the shower, not like you are wearing a fragrance.

If you like Cloud (or other similar scents), you'll like this. It's essentially as a "sheer" version of Cloud. So, similar scent, just not as dense or as deep. I like to use it for layering when I wear Cloud (or other similar scents). For a body mist, I think it has moderate longevity and sillage. In my area, you can generally find this at discounters for $7.99, which I think is a fair price.

The softest creamy youthful scent of vanilla and coconut. An embrace of someone you used to know. Lasts long enough for you to recall happy memories and then disappears. Not close enough to the original Cloud, but you will still find the mist pleasant.

In short, this is basically just Cloud. It's a tad warmer, the atomizer sucks, and has almost no sillage or longevity. Just buy the perfume version. 9/10 for smell but overall 4/10 because you literally can't smell this

it reeks of alcohol for the first 10 minutes and then it starts smelling like a fresh vanilla, a better choice would be the perfume but this is also good. it lasts on me around 3-4 hours

I really like this mist, but I wish it could last a little longer. I kind of got an alcohol smell when having it on.

I found that this scent started to develop a stronger citrus smell after about 5-6ish months

I cannot smell this at all which is unfortunate I dont know if it's just me or my particular one sucks for some reason, I got it because I couldn't afford the actual perfume in hopes it would smell like it enough that I could justify not getting the perfume one day. Unfortunately now I just have a body spray that is almost water with a slight scent that's almost non detectable and I still have to get the perfume one day too for the actual scent experience 🤦♀️

It would be fabulous if it didn't instantly evaporate. Love the EDP, but the body mist is not worth it if you are looking for a lightweight version of it for the gym or whatever. If you're going to charge more than a BBW mist, then it needs to last at least as long as a BBW mist.

I tested it at the store and could smell it for maybe a minute, then it just... disappeared? but it's a body mist though and I was sweating from the heat so it's okay. anyways, It's a nice vanilla & I liked it so I might buy the perfume version!

this is just not it. does not last, does not perform well and smells nothing like the perfume; currently using this as a home spray. cost me 10€ but still not worth it

El olor no se integra y mucho menos aguanta, supongo que si lo combinas con el perfume duraría más pero yo al combinarlo con un perfume de coco desaparece al segundo.

Just decluttered from my collection. I like this on other people or from a distance, but I find it suffocating while wearing, even in this light mist form.

I got the Sweet like Candy, Ari, and Cloud body sprays and this is my least favorite. :/ it’s a weird smell to me tbh? I remembered having the body spray in middle school, so I was excited to smell it again. It smells like leather, and when you can smell it, it’s barely there. :( Even after the dry down it smells alcohol-y with a little amount of leather and sweetness. Its lifespan is shorter than a mayfly’s but I’ll use it as a room spray. Sweet like Candy is my #1, then Ari is #2, but cloud is a distant #3. I wish I liked it 😭😭 Maybe I got a bad bottle?

My girlfriend owns this scent. I just really don't like it. It's not very well-rounded at all, the musk scent is rude to my nose. It has a burnt brown sugar smell that dominates the base or whatever is left for everyone else to smell. I've learned a lesson smelling this, some perfumiers will use sweet floral topnotes and cheap prices to lure in unrefined customers.

I want to like this for the lavender and lactonic notes, but sadly every time I spray this it smells like a musky vanilla bathroom spray trying to mask something unpleasant. I've yet to test the EDP, which I hope is better than the mist.

Its a good price value for only like 10$ but it does not smell at all like the original, it smells like a alcohol cream scent with some lavender

Another ridiculous perfume that smells like strawberries and cream. Why are all of Ariana's perfumes the same? It smells a bit like Burberry Her though.

Obvious just hit me. Very little white floral across the line. Today sprayed some sparkling white diamonds and some love rush. Heavy white floral accords. Remember how that group of white floral was a favorite. No criticism here or even comparisons. Just struck how much fragrance has changed. In 2016 I was very anti sweet now wear them almost everyday. Guess glad can appreciate both bc. Have zero issue with granny or the juvenile. Maybe it’s the pretentious ones that suck to me. Chanel is proven. Not paying more for something else that may not be here in ten years. With me, you need ten years of juice to prove your worth. Wear what you like tho these mists still seem like a major rip off. All mists. Ok, so two groups.

To many confused: I definitely think they changed up the formula of the body mist. When Cloud first came out, I got a tester of the body mist and fell in love with the scent - it was warm, sweet and comforting to me, with some floral notes. I used up the entire tester, and then got a full sized one ( this was about a year later ) but it just did not smell the same. It's pretty synthetic smelling, but it's not a bad smell at all. Definitely a mist to layer with, not use on its own - I would suggest just getting the perfume itself because it smells amazing.

Do not have high expectations for this body spray. I bought this because I’m an Ariana fan and I like her fragrances. But this is literally rubbing alcohol with a smidge of cloud notes. The more you spray, you’d have to stay away from anything flammable because you will combust with the amount of alcohol you’ll be drenched in. Save your money and just get the cloud fragrance or better yet if you prefer alcohol just stick to vodka 😅

please don't waste your money on this, it smells like nothing at all. idek what to rate it because of that... if you have super sense and ppl around you also have super sense maybe you can pick up a scent tho but i wouldn't even buy this myself as an arianator

It’s so, so subtle that I can barely feel it upon application, let alone a minute later. I’ve never tested the perfume before, but I don’t think it’s worth the purchase. I get a faint sweetness that’s very delicate — still, I’ll give the perfume a try!

First, it smelled very plasticky. Letting it sit for a while, it turned sweeter and less synthetic. Not too bad, I spray it on sometimes. It doesn't have great staying power. I appreciate the fact that it's cruelty free.

Just buy the perfume. The body mist is only good for layering. By itself it smells like alcohol yuck

I use this as a clothes spray and to layer with candy,smells more musky than the edp version!

My brother thought I had sprayed kitchen cleaner and said it smelled like lemons lol
