Moonlight Body Mist

This body mist is LOVELY. And yes, I agree that performance is lacking, but for the value of this and scent profile, I'm ready to be more gracious about it. I think this is better than the perfume, and smells more ethereal. It's absolutely beautiful, and smells magical. The notes are so complimentary, and it smells somehow softer and cozier than the perfume. Not as if it's a different fragrance, but the lightness itself does the composition justice (I hope that makes sense). It's a Gen-Z perfume, and exemplifies the current trends well (I'm a Millennial, and I enjoy oldschool and newschool things both). I wanted a true modern perfume and was craving something like this. It's sweet with that marshmallow and soft plum, but not cloying. It's musky, but cleanly so, and smells of fresh laundry. The texture of this is floofy, and it puts my mind at ease immediately when I spray it...it's just so comforting, without being an amber or heavily sweet thing (but I love those types too). It's also worth mentioning that this is entirely a versatile, "dumb reach" if ever there was one. It's suitable for the workplace, home, or even romantic situations. Yes...cold air kills it, but the composition itself would absolutely work in any season. Weirdly though, this makes me want to wear it most on a drizzly spring night (I'll need to wait a while). It's less "moonlight" to me and more "twilight", like soft hazy lighting. It's crazy how much I love this $10 fragrance. 💜🤍

This body spray is perfect for chilling at home, especially after a shower as it does have a freshness to it. Smells just like the EDP- lighter and perhaps less powdery, but essentially the same. Its a beautiful plum, vanilla marshmallow scent. So cozy, and could be worn to work in the body spray form as it's lighter and the smell is more mature than ari + sweet like candy. I was actually deciding on which body mist to get, thinking id get Ari, but the Ari body mist let me down as it lacks the exciting burnt sugar/roasted pink marshmallow opening of the EDP, but moonlight did not disappoint. I am certain I will use this fast and go back for more. I'm going to find any and every excuse to wear this! And a beautiful bottle too. I tend to be very picky with bottles, and this is one of the best looking out there for a body mist.

I would absolutely love this fragrance if it lasted longer than a fart

wow! i bought this online and didn't think much of it, in fact i thought i got a faulty one because the cap smelled weird and the scent of the mist wasn't very strong. however, smelling it again and giving it a good clean, oh wow. very sweet, marshmallowy skin scent! it's gorgeous and definitely holds the ari dna. it's like ari and slc's kind of alternative sister, ethereal and ghostly? i really don't know how to describe it! it's fruity, tangy but more tame in comparison. youthful and fun! the marshmallow is the strongest note, and then the blackberry and plum, a bit amber-y but i can't really pick the other notes up. i can't lie though it doesn't last very long or project but it's a body mist after all! a lovely pick me up scent for the colder days 🥰

I do not like Ariana Grande as a person or as a brand, but even I can admit that this is a good fragrance. It opens with plum, black currant, and marshmallow--fruity and sweet, sort of syrupy, a little like jam and powdered sugar. It pretty quickly fades into marshmallow and sandalwood--smooth, warm, sweet. It's fruity, but in a more subdued and less bright way. It's sweet and marshmallow, but not in a kids candy way. This is a great simple body mist for daily wear, on par with BBW in terms of scent complexity and overall longevity. The performance is less than stellar, but it's a cheap mist and in this case you get what you pay for. Works for any season, any time of day, and is especially great for layering.

i got this bc im broke and also bc the real perfume is very hard to find (in the uk at least). i think it's discontinued actually... tbh this is more floral than sweet until the drydown. like fresh laundry? I get all the notes tho but the peony defo takes over... might get a vanilla mist to layer with this so it's sweeter. also it lasts longer if you moisturise before applying. helps a lot! edit: after layering with a vanilla marshmallow mist it smells soooo dreamy!

I love Ariana’s body mists. Less lasting than perfumes but they smell exactly the same. Also they are quite cheap.

This is a lovely scent, but, oh so weak. It is ethereal, but it lasts seconds (not literally).

Great to layer this with other plum fragrances.

This body mist is definitely a skin scent. It doesn't project much at all, and you have to spray like crazy to get any whiff of it as you're going about your day or night. It is better worn during the evening or nighttime and during the colder, darker months. Upon first sniff, you get alcohol heavily. Within about 5 minutes, you get the black currant and maybe some plum. You don't really pick up the other notes. I am not a huge fan of the alcohol heavy opening and am not big on black currant, plum, or blackberry type of scents. I also don't like having to spray like crazy to get anything from the scent. This body mist is just ok.

As to be somewhat expected from a body mist, the first spray is 100% rubbing alcohol. As it dries down the plum scent mingles with the black currant with the marshmallow in the background. This is a very light scent (even for a mist), it doesn't last long and has minimal sillage. All of that to say, I have several perfumes with similar notes that I can layer it with. I like to spray the perfume on my skin and spray this mist on my clothes. You can really use a lot of this mist and still have a pretty light scent. So, for that use and only $7.99 I'm okay with this, but wouldn't rebuy.

I understand why this isn’t ”love” for a lot of people. Very disappointed because I sprayed it 20 times and I still can’t smell anything on my skin, only faint nail polish smell from the alcohol opening. If I spray it on clothes I can smell very faint pleasant floral but I have to have it touch my nose to get anything. This might be good for someone who is sensitive for strong perfumes but wants something light and clean. 5$ body mist smells stronger and better than this to be honest but I’d love to try the perfume some day.

First of all, the bottle is super cute and pretty! I adore it. However, like most the bodymists in this line .. very, VERY short lived. It's a soft, sweet and almost 'clean' smell to me. Definitely not cloying or overpowering and great to throw on in the summer. But it disappears just as fast as you sprayed it on.

Its a pleasant scent although I do get a slight lemony note kind of like a disinfectant? Other than it is a very sensual, clean and musky scent - definitely perfect for evening wear in summer.

I enjoyed the scent, but it was a tad harsh and had a bit of a heavy alcohol scent. That paired with the fact it lasted a grand total of 15 seconds was my confirmation it wasn't really for me.

wish it was stronger lol. its mostly plum, and a very sweet one. smells very much like an early ariana perfume if that makes sense

I once tested it at a store. It smelled like hand sanitizer if im not wrong and it doesn’t last at all. (I might be wrong and confused it with another mist but i don’t think so)

The bottle is stunning and shiny! But it doesn't last at all. Maybe max 30 seconds, then it is completely gone. I use it to spray it on my bed but as soon as I spray it, it is gone. :(

Wrap yourself in Moonlight... Sprayed this on today, and it's fairly light, but has improved in strength with dark storage after first sprays (although it's been a few years since I've re-tested this). Lighter than her other body sprays - a more transparent version of the Ari Ariana Grande DNA. Evocative of a soft iced sugar plum, with creamy marshmallow-vanilla & a sandalwood drydown that reads like brown sugar to me. It's so soft that I get the comparison to moonlight, but I can't help but wonder if this is perhaps inspired by the film Moonlight (2016), the first LGBTQ-themed mass-marketed feature film with an all-black cast, which was released the year before to critical acclaim.

This scent in the body mist form is definitely heavy on the alcohol—it hits right away and takes a minute to settle 🌬️. I think that’s because I bought both the fragrance and the mist, and the mist just packs that alcohol punch a bit stronger. The actual perfume, though, is much softer and has that beautiful, relaxing lavender 💜, with a comforting mix of vanilla and marshmallow goodness 🍦☁️. It’s light, airy, and perfect for winding down—just a much smoother experience than the mist!
