Pressed Petals

this is mainly a citrus-scented, fresh fragrance, with powdery undertones that i would assume are the marshmallow. i don’t get any raspberry in this, and the jasmine isn’t a major part of the fragrance either (thankfully, because jasmine gives me headaches). in my opinion, it’s like a citrusy marshmallow with green, fresh undertones (maybe violet leaf) and sandalwood. i notice that the other comments say it’s a floral, mature fragrance, i find this isn’t the case for me at all (this could be due to different skin chemistry). i think it could be worn all year-round, but would be perfect for spring/autumn, or a date night. it has a cosy vibe to it as well! similar fragrances: weirdly enough, despite only sharing few notes, i find it smells similar to ‘purr’ by katy perry, with purr being a sweeter, fruiter version of this fragrance. i sprayed both and compared side by side and they are definitely cousin fragrances (not sisters!). i also find it is comparable in maturity to coco mademoiselle, so if you like coco mademoiselle, you will probably like pressed petals (they share the citrusy, sophisticated vibe). i do believe it was overpriced ($120 AUD), but as i am an ariana fan and a perfume collector, i bought it. it also smells like a high-end perfume, so i guess you get what you pay for. i would say this perfume is not for you if you do not like heavy citrus/powdery fragrances, and you prefer a sweet, gourmand fragrance, because this is not that. it still has some sweetness, but is not a candy-bomb like some of ari’s other fragrances, so stick to those and save yourself some money if you prefer your perfume on the sweet side! this perfume is for you if you like fragrances like coco mademoiselle, that make you feel like the most elevated, sophisticated version of yourself! it is also for you if you prefer a less-sweet fragrance

Iinitially thought that this would be my least favorite of the original 4 Love Notes, but I was wrong! The lemon note is nice and doesn’t pull too sour, and the marshmallow adds a nice fluffy sweetness. While this type of fragrance isn’t really anything new or revolutionary, I still enjoy it. It very much gives “perfume counter” vibes. I wore my sample size to the gym, and I could still smell it before, during, and after my work out. I definitely plan on purchasing a full bottle. If you are fan of Ari, Mod Blush, or the Glinda fragrance, I think you will like this one as it is the most similar to those ones! 🍋🎀

I'm really conflicted about this one. Scent wise, I love this, it's flowers, its pretty, clean, feminine, perfect work or day scent. Very inoffensive, easy. BUTTTT longevity not great. Sillage is pretty close to body. So definitely one you will have to reapply. I did probably 20 sprays overall amongst clothes and skin. By 8am, it was very weak.

I am the furthest from a FLORAL scent king. However, this being the only Love Note available in Australia I obviously had to have it. I really love the bottle design, it’s a huge improvement from all of the other Ari bottles. Very luxe! Considering it’s genuinely called “Pressed Petals” I don’t necessarily get too much “flowery” floral, which makes me happy because I really dislike floral scents (as a gourmand lover). Am I obsessed with it?? No. However, it’s a pretty nice perfume and I think it will be very easy to wear. Layers really nicely with Cosmic! (Kylie Jenner)

Everyone’s kinda hating... I love this perfume. As a gourmand person I was surprised by this one. Finally a floral that doesn’t REEK of jasmine. It’s so subtle and adds everything to the citrusy woody background. As it dries down it becomes this really mature almost unisex fragrance that I’m obsessed with. I wish the bottle had a bit more to it though, it’s fancy but I want something more.

Sweet lemon opening that almost comes off as fizzy when mixed with the jasmine. On the dry down it almost reminds me of a non-musky Valaya. I actually let go of my Valaya dupe (delilah blanc) because I preferred this. It's nice and sweet on my skin, but in a fresh way not in a gourmand way,

This perfume has really grown on me, it’s a very nice quick fragrance for spring summer, even autumn. Not usually a fan of florals but it’s blended beautifully.

I bought this from the chemist warehouse website without smelling it before and was super excited bc Australia was last and never got a date, anyway chemist warehouse took me to ultra beauty (never heard of it) paid $129 including shipping. I have almost all of ari’s fragrances and I am an Arianator/ tiny elephant! My favs are mod blush and mod vanilla. BUT this fragrance is honestly not it. At first it smells like a grandma scent then after 5-10 minutes it’s like a Dior perfume which all low-key smell grandma-y! But I will say it’s not as bad after a certain amount of time but it is certainly underwhelming would I recommend this product probably not!

First Impression: I saw another review on here that I pretty much I completely agree with. This is Ariana's most mature scent by far! This is giving middle aged to older woman and definetly is not catered to the younger target demographic of her fragrances. I have loved all her fragrances except for thank u next and unfortunately this will be sitting next to it. I was very excited for this fragrance due to the notes but I'm actually not picking up on many of the notes in here such as the marshmallow and amber which I was excited about and thought it would give the fragrance a hint of gourmand such as sweet like candy or moonlight as the marshmallow is prominent in those but not at all in pressed petals. The sandalwood and floral notes are overpowering and overly mature which I don't think a lot of people will like. This actually smells really basic too and like something that I've smelt before. The other review says it smells like a dior fragrance and I would agree but I actually think the miss dior range is even better than this. Pressed petals doesn't stand out at all and I think there are many better mature floral fragrances. Overall the scent is still pleasant like it doesn't smell bad but it brings nothing new or interesting to the table. I can't comment on the longevity or projection just yet as this is a first impression. One thing I can say is that my opinion is likely to change as I still test it out more. I can see that Ariana was trying to diversify her fragrances with this collection and venture into new territory but unfortunately I'm not sure I have been swayed as this fragrance is just way too mature. Where as I think a lot of her fragrances have been universal/versatile such as R.E.M, cloud, ari and moonlight, they are quite sophisticated and well balanced in notes making them suitable for both young and maturer audiences. I think pressed petals strays too far from her crowd-pleasing formula, which I don't want her to leave behind. I'm also not so sure why she would create a more mature fragrance as I don't realistically see her being able to captivate solely a maturer crowd just yet in her career. I am rarely disappointed by her fragrances but I guess with the amount that she has put out, it would be impossible for all of them to be a hit.

this is the final lovenote added to my collection, it is such a pretty perfume and it is very safe to wear. the main notes on my skin are lemon that's super bright and fresh mixed with a sweet powdery jasmine. for some reason i get no marshmallow notes but i do pick up like those valentine's day candy hearts? not sure if it's the raspberry in here mixed with the sweet jasmine + "marshmallow" that's making me thing of those little candies. makes sense to me more cause of the whole theme of the lovenotes. all lovenotes are finally available on tiktok shop and they are all such pretty perfumes!! this one and angels kiss are my favorite by far <3 love u ari 💌🍋 edit: i forgot to add the staying power to this review lol, on my skin it lasts about 3 hours which is expected as all the other lovenotes last this long for me but im sure if you spray even more it will last longer and have a better sillage. would repurchase

All four perfumes from the love notes collection sound so intriguing and interesting to buy especially because the perfume notes seem so much more different than her other perfumes, the bottle design is sleek and tbh it looks quite nice I don’t really mind it but I understand why she would wanna evolve into making her bottles more adult seeming (Tho I do hope she doesn’t stick with this sort of design for future perfumes), and lastly it sucks how she doesn’t sell any Ariana perfumes in Dubai so getting any one of these at all would cost me an actual fortune.. we have some perfumes on Amazon of Ariana but her new releases take atleast 1-2 years to come (we just got the mod blush and vanilla and the cloud pink but they’re so priced up) I just hope she does something about it

I am not a floral fan so I haven’t really worn this one out yet. But on initial first impression it smells like walking past the fragrance section of Nordstrom/Dillards. I would classify this as a spring/summer scent (also why I haven’t worn it out yet). It seems like it will have good projection/longevity from spraying on my hand. At first it seemed like a designer inspired scent but I want to wear it before deciding for sure as I’m intrigued by the middle notes with marshmallow and sandalwood. I think me and jasmine just don’t get along and when I smell it, it just immediately reminds of all the designer scents of the last 5 years. But I will wear this when the weather warms up.

It feels like there's a note missing to complete this fragrance...an empty vessel of a perfume. There's NO silage. The scent instantly reminded me of cheap citrus scented candles that you'd find for a few dollars which doesn't smell like anything when you burn it. It desperately wants to be a part of the versace bright crystal line but falls quite short of anything remotely interesting, especially with it's underwhelming bottle design. In conclusion, it doesn't smell bad but it's quite generic, incomplete and very weak, it's just so overpriced

Finally available at Chemist Warehouse NZ! I was super excited to try it, but I was disappointed because it literally smells like Calvin Klein Woman EDT. The perfume name is misleading too as I can't detect any floral notes at all; it's very citrusy and slightly woody. I guess it's a safe office scent, very inoffensive and sits close to the skin. The longevity is decent.

Super heavy clean florals at first , can smell like floral cleaning products but as I wear it, it tones down and sweetens up a bit. It goes to a creamy floral and softens up, becomes more of a skin scent.
