R.E.M. Cherry Eclipse

Wow this was the first time in a while where I instantly fell in love with an Ariana Grande perfume. I am a loyal purchaser/collector or her fragrances and have been a little underwhelmed with the past few years of her launches. Lovenotes was quite a big let down (specifically pressed petals but I do enjoy pink woods), the mod collection was good but not something I would repurchase, the cloud flankers (2.0 and Cloud pink) also were alright but again not something I would repurchase. Until now the only fragrances I had been repurchasing consistently from her were R.E.M, Cloud, and moonlight which were all fairly old releases, but I think we have finally got a winner again as I am confident that this is now one of the best Ariana Grande fragrances! This to me is actually the quintessential Ariana Grande fragrance as I can name several of her fragrances that it instantly reminds me of, which would explain why it smells so familiar yet not exactly a copy or dupe of anything which most new releases tend to be at this point. So to be specific this reminds me or all the following: Ari, moonlight, mod blush and the OG R.E.M ofcourse. I kid you not, I can pick up similarities to all of those fragrances in this one fragrance alone. It's a sweet fruity floral and a crowd pleaser and I would say one of her safest blind buy fragrances. Big step up from the lovenotes pressed petals which is probably my least favourite fragrance of hers. If you like ariana's fragrances in general you will love this and if you don't, definetly give this one a go I think you might be converted! Also this is only tart cherry forward at initial spray but the cherry fades into a sweet berry scent after 5 minutes and I actually find that this is one of those fragrances you CANNOT judge from a first impression because it completely transforms on your skin. 100000/10

a soft creamy, cherry marshmallow. i usually dislike anything cherry scented, this is so good though! as someone who dislikes most cherry scents, i was so surprised i ended up loving this. probably one of my favorite AG perfumes now! this smells how a cherry chai from starbucks tastes lol. i don’t know why the bottle is in the same style as rem though, they’re nothing alike. rem is a sleepy lavender almost unisex scent.. still good but it’s nothing like cherry eclipse. cherry eclipse is sweeter and longer lasting than rem. this sticks to me nearly all day, haven’t had any problems with longevity. i wore it when it first came out and a bit throughout spring/summer. it wasn’t cloying (to me) in the heat so it seems good for year round wear. it is sweet but there’s more popular/viral scents that are way sweeter that i smell in public everyday. this isn’t super unique but the cherry is different from the other sweet scents ari has. still has vanilla/marshmallow that’s in a lot of her scents though. sooo if you like that, you’ll probably like this.

This is a beautiful mix of cherry and marshmallow and IMO quite different from other popular cherry fragrances on the market. This fragrance has a similar airy muskiness to the original R.E.M (or all her perfumes for that matter) but other than that, it is a completely different fragrance. I found this perfume to last quite a long time on my clothing. I actually got to try this back in November when her makeup brand released a travel-sized version of this fragrance that was bundled with lipgloss and I could not wait for the full size to be released. I can easily see this climbing to the top of the ranks out of all my Ariana fragrances. The bottle itself is so pretty as well! To those reviews saying that they’re disappointed that this fragrance is “another cherry perfume”, nobody is making you buy this or wear this! That being said, if you are not a big fan of cherry fragrances, you may want to test this before buying or skip it all together. I really think her brand did an amazing job with this one. 🍒☁️

Not a bad cherry by any means, doesn’t smell at all like cough syrup or “mEdIcInAl” which I assume means the same thing. Really nice opening of sweet and sour and settles into a fluffy sweet pink marshmallowy blanket. Unlike some other cherry fragrances I’ve tried the cherry top note does seem to actually last and linger with the rest of the scent. I recently tried out Cloud Pink and returned it, THIS is what I wanted out of that fragrance tbh. Only drawback is if you own a lot of her others, it’s not wildly different, drydown does have about 75% similarity to Ari, and opening almost feels like SLC? But still different enough imo to justify itself! Also the packaging is 10/10 super cute, frosted metallic pink bottle, crystal outer case and cap scream Glinda if you’re a Wicked fan. Between this and the original R.E.M., I love them both but the original was amazing to me, soooooo unique and dreamy.

Vişne kokusunu sevenler bilirler ki gerçekçi bir vişne parfümü bulmak son derece zordur. Ya şurubumsu kokarlar ya da tom ford'unkiler gibi tuhaf kokarlar. Cherry eclipse tüm vişne severlerin rüyası olmuş. Kesinlikle gerçekçi bir şekilde vişne kokuyor ba-yıl-dım. Tatlı, sevimli ve girly bir koku. Ancak yayılımı çok zayıf maalesef. Tende de koku hemen uçuyor, kıyafetlerde daha çok kalıyor. Bende 5 ml dekantı bulunuyor; kalıcılığının ve yayılımının düşüklüğü beni büyük boyu almamaya itti açıkçası. Ama indirim varken almadığım için bir miktar pişmanım da, çünkü çokk güzel vişne kokuyor 😭. Her şeye rağmen bir dahaki indirimden büyük boyunu kapacağım 💕. Keşke biraz daha kalıcı ve yayılımlı olsaydı 😔. Edit: Arkadaşlar sonunda büyük boyunu alabildim, 2 aydır bu anı bekliyordum 🥳. Müthiş vişne/kiraz kokuyor, tıpkı vişneli meyve suları gibi, aşığım bu kokuyaa 💕
