Club De Nuit Lionheart Man

Oh come on. How can a fragrance this good cost the amount it retails for! Ridiculous. I wanted a few casual fragrances that I can wear as a daily whether I'm at the gym, nipping to the shops or enduring general day to day activities. 😳 I opted for 3 products. Firstly to cover all weathers and temperatures and secondly, I thought it'd be wise to try a more budget friendly version of a couple of expensive fragrances before I take the financial plunge! 1. Afnan supremacy collectors addition to see how I gelled wearing the Aventus style DNA. For the warmer days and gym mostly. 2. Rayhaan Tiger Cal Calone edition. For days when I'm milling about but to test the waters before opting for a product from the Halfeti line, Penhaligons best products in my opinion. 3. Lastly, Club de nuits lionheart man. This was chosen as something fairly generic and casual. a good, dumb reach option for all but the warmest days. So, this review will focus on Lionheart man obviously. Damn, I've spent a fair amount of money across the fragrance spectrum from an exclusive from Boadicea the victorious to Orto Parisi and quite a few bottles from the wonderful Arabian Oud. All of them spectacular in their own way but at a higher cost. Lionheart man; From the first spray I noticed a nice but slightly sharp and astringent combination of notes. A clear combination of the Mint, lavender and Benzoin. Within 10 minutes this is beautifully smoothed out by the creamier ingredients. Tonka, vanilla and honey doing their wonderful, encompassing work. The tobacco is sweet and holds the mixture together gently and subtly without any bitterness that this particular note can occasionally provide. It's obviously a well constructed potion as it all comes together magically and yet each note still individually distinguishable. Is this normal at this price! Yes it's a fairly familiar scent, but for me seems to encapsulate the very best aspects of the better designer efforts combined with the expected strength, blending and nuances of something from a higher tier. I won't delve into all the individual familiar scents as there are many other reviews that have already touched on that aspect. However, will mention one. Penhaligons Sartorial. It's not particularly close but the seam of Honey, vanilla and lavender certainly offers a little touch of the all time great, one of my favourites. Fortunately, this fragrance doesn't fade like it's far more exclusive distant cousin! It keeps thriving throughout the Lionheart experience. Kudos to Club de nuit for achieving something quite delicate that a house like Penhaligons can't seem to manage! Right, let's concentrate on what this specific product astoundingly achieves. It's a super friendly aroma that lets people know you are in proximity, not by shouting but by steadily and unforgettably making its presence known. The mint and lavender offer a clean, classic barbershop style effect that's beautifully tempered by the softer underlying and luxurious, creamier heart and base notes. Very nicely done, it's encapsulating. The honey just tingles away, it's so nicely done! Projection is 5-6 ft easily for 2 or 3 hours, dropping to an arms length comfortably for the same time period again. It'll then remain a skin scent, a noticeable, gorgeous one for another several hours. It's strong, be careful here as although sharp initially it seems to mask the overall power as it settles down. I think another surprise for me was that as it comes together after the initial spritz it seems to ramp up in power. This fragrance will leave a good, solid and alluring trail for many hours from your initial application. To many sprays and you could well be radiating a little too much. 4-6 sprays is probably more than enough for most of us.....maybe 6-8, it's a very friendly scent. Demographic wise I think it's a male fragrance. Sure, if a female wants to wear it then absolutely why not! fill your boots. Interestingly I think this can be worn by anyone from early 20' s and up. Due to its depth I think more a reserved type of man of later years can carry this off without issue just as much as a 20 something going out for a beer or two with his mates. It's a perfume that offers a classic barbershop, fougere experience with a more generic, dare I say designer base, even a few notes that you may find in something a little more niche added into the mix! It's a hard fragrance with something for everyone. It's modern, classic and attention grabbing all at the same time but in an understated, well groomed and elegant way. Bottle, sprayer and packing all very nice and good quality, in keeping with the overall user experience but punching way above it's diminutive price point. Now, I'm as surprised as anyone by the quality of my 3 financially moderate purchases. I'm writing this and seriously questioning my life choices. 😆 You generally get what you pay for but in perfumery that is often not the case, that has become more evident over recent times! Especially when you factor in and compare the abilities, available ingredients and knowledge of the Asian luxury segment compared to the perceived specialism and exclusivity of many higher end marques parading their products as premium. Of course, there are many wonderful niche and luxurious products out there but there's a glaring disparity value wise, when buying the products mentioned in this review. Ok, rant over. 😂 As lovely as lionheart is, I'm going to place all 3 products in a dark, cool place for a while to let them blend and smooth further as many of you out there have advised. In fact, I'm waiting on a delivery of a few more fragrances that I'll leave to macerate, some over the summer and some just in time for hot weather use in a few months. Ready for use in premium condition. So, don't be afraid to swallow a little pride, save a lot of cash and buy a few more budget friendly products. After all, all three purchases still only cost about half of one premium product. You can always swap them or sell them if you genuinely don't enjoy them. I'm very impressed with my experiment so far and proud to have a small, carefully selected and varied collection from across the globe in terms of quality, scent profile and price.

Not exactly a clone of le male elixir, but I personally, like it more. One of the first fragrances I'd gotten, and my first foray outside fresh or clean fragrances. This smells like le male elixir except a bit more tobacco and mint. It's sweet, rich and fairly dark, but not as strongly sweet as you might think for a le male elixir clone though, so definitely worth checking out, especially if you found elixir or the honey in it a little too sweet for you. Scent profile is strongly inspired by the le male elixir, but it is markedly different from it. The mint is stronger in the opening making it a little lighter/fresher and not as rich off the bat, and the tobacco stands out more in the drydown giving it a slight smokiness while still being quite similar to le male elixir, with the honey also toned down a bit. Late drydown isn't as benzoin forward as le male elixir or even le male le parfum actually, the slightly stronger tobacco helps give it a bit more complexity as it dries down compared to the sweetness of the elixir. I do like it a lot, and definitely recommend trying it, however, I would also strongly recommend against blind buying this though as it's not exactly a safe scent profile, I like this quite a lot, you may not. Performance is great, will last you a full day and maybe then some, projection is likewise very strong. 2 sprays is what I usually wear, BE CAREFUL with anything above that as it's really strong and any more can be enough to give you a headache, especially in small, closed places like a car. Some very cold days I have gone up to 3ish when going outside, but just remember this is some pretty strong and heavy stuff so it's not a good idea to spray too much. Value for money is excellent: the fragrance quality is great, smells fairly close to a much more expensive and well-loved fragrance, and the ~2 sprays a day from the great performance means a low cost per day of wearing it.

Absolute Banger - My New Fall/Winter Go-To! Listen, I've tried all the Elixir dupes, and this one is the champ. I was a little skeptical at first—another Armaf clone?—but they absolutely nailed it with Lionheart. When you first spray it, you get this surprisingly invigorating shot of mint and lavender. It's not harsh or synthetic; it's a smooth, cool burst that cuts through the potential sweetness perfectly. This opening makes it feel richer and more versatile than some of its rivals. But the real magic is the dry-down. It becomes this unbelievably warm, honeyed vanilla and tobacco bomb. The sweetness from the benzoin and honey is smooth and creamy, not sticky or cloying, and the tobacco note is just deep enough to keep it grounded and masculine. It hits all the right notes for a cozy, seductive, cold-weather scent. The performance is exactly what the Club de Nuit line is famous for. This thing lasts. I'm talking 8-10 hours easy, and the sillage is strong without being obnoxious. It’s definitely a confidence-booster, and I've already gotten a couple of unsolicited compliments. If you're looking for that amazing, modern, sweet tobacco DNA—the one that smells like the inside of an expensive cigar lounge mixed with a bakery—this is it. It’s genuinely better than a lot of fragrances twice its price. Don't wait for maceration, just enjoy it!

I tested this in a store one spray on the back of my hand. Straight away you get a beautiful beast mode minty lavender. It’s sweet but not sickly sweet.. I left the store and was walking down the street and all I could smell from one spray was CDNLH.. I met my wife a few shops down and the first thing she says “mmmm what’s that smell?” Straight away I knew this was a must have. I bought the fragrance about a week later. I put 3 sprays in for work.. the moment I arrived instant compliment from a female staff member “OMG you smell nice” as she leans in a smells me. All day this smell stayed through my 12h shift. I get home hug my wife “mmmmm is this the new one you bought” as she buried her face into my neck. Day 2: same again 3 sprays arrive at work.. different female staff member says “is that you I can smell?” Me thinking sh!t I’ve over sprayed.. she leans in and sniffs “wow what is that you’re wearing”. I can officially say this is the compliment magnet. Beautiful smell that lasts all day. I have all the CDN and this is certainly one of my favourites

ARMAF is a great perfume house. I was truly struggling to pick between all of the JPG Elixir "inspired" fragrances but the best ones are: ARMAF Lionheart Man (this) Rasasi Hawas Elixir Lataffa Kingdom Neither of these are EXACTLY like the original, nor is the original BETTER than any of these in my opinion. They are all the same species of fragrance with varying stand-out notes. This fragrance has a terrible minty, dusty smelling opening with alcohol (typical of ARMAF) for the first minute or so, yet the dry down after that may be the best out of all of the perfumes including the original. The stand out notes are: Fresh, Honey, Vanilla, Amber. So do not judge the fragrance on the first 1 or 2 minutes, that would be doing it an injustice as it is probably the best or second best one all in all. Projection and longevity are top notch as with every ARMAF fragrance and definitely superior to the original in this regard. Scent: 9/10 Longevity: 8/10 Projection: 7/10

This is 10 times better than Lattafa Kingdom, a lot stronger, more refined and definetely closer to Le Male Elixir. Opening is way fresher in comparison to the original, but in the dry down they are almost spot on to my nose, this feels just a bit more mentholated basically. The Kingdom is just an ok clone in my opinion, it misses the richness of the original and smells dull in comparison, it's also not that strong and in the dry down feels like a mixture between Le Male Elixir and Armani Code Profumo, i still don't understand the hype around it. Here's my ranking for the Le Male Elixir clones i've tried: 1. Armaf Lionheart (28€) 2. Fragrance World Urban Man Elixir (21€) 3. Khadlaj La Fede Intoxicate blue elixir (25€) 4. The Kingdom (17€) 5. Rayhaan Elixir (22€) 6. Zimaya Charisma (20€) [spot on in the opening, that it becomes a Le Male Le Parfum clone] 7. Ard Al Zaafaran Wild Oud (12€) it's a twist on le Male Elixir with oud, a lot deeper and masculine.

If it weren't for all the hype and overblown marketing of this one, I could imagine that this is what the little girls room would smell like in a club on Friday night after Katy, Tiffany and Brittany just had a catfight. Right off the top, it's overly sweet and strong. It is creamy, maybe a bit too 'femmy' for some alpha male tastes. My nose is picking up no tobacco here. After a couple of hours on the skin it does dry down and become a gentle powdery vanilla fragrance with a lovely hint of honey and mint, which is really gorgeous, (Katy, Tiffany and Brittany just had a dreamy group hug). I know that this is a clone of JPG LME but If I could tweak this formula and make a twist, I would tone down the vanilla, sweet, honey notes by 15% and increase the tobacco,green, fresh and warm spicy notes by 10%, but then it wouldn't be a dupe of LME would it? This is a high quality, powerful juice for a fraction of JPG price.

Had this for awhile now and gave it wearing today. Right off the top you get that hit of mint and lavender — super fresh and almost cooling, which is a nice contrast to what comes later. After that opening, the fragrance shifts into this warm mix of vanilla, honey, and tonka with a touch of tobacco. The sweetness is definitely the star here, but that mint in the beginning keeps it from being too heavy or cloying. Honestly, it feels like Armaf’s take on Le Male Elixir. You get that same sexy, slightly gourmand vibe but at a way friendlier price point. Performance is solid for me — around 7–8 hours with good projection for the first 2–3. Not a beast mode fragrance, but noticeable enough that people around you will pick it up. Definitely feels more suited for cooler weather, nights out, or date nights rather than summer daytime wear. Inspired by Le Male Elixir and hands down the best clone to date.

At first when you spray it you get a spicy almost citrus kind of smell but it quickly settles into a very sweet vanilla with honey kind of smell that gives you an edible dessert vibe. However the slight mint in the fragrance still gives you a sharp enough vibe where you don't just become a full on dessert. The sweetness does not smell artificial and the longevity is very good, on skin easily over 6 hours and on clothes over 24 hours. The projection is fantastic anyone sitting beside you can easily smell you and you will get a strong scent bubble for at least the first 5 hours and then it settles down but you will still get a whiff of it every now and then after that. This is a JPG Le Male Elixir clone and I would say this is very close and to me maybe the better from the two as the projection I feel is much better with Lionheart than Elixir. Overall worth it if you like sweet classy gourmands.

I am pretty sure this cologne has cocaine in it, I keep smelling it every two seconds. The best price to performance for a cologne in the world. The longevity is just 8+ hours EASY on skin and projection is GODLY. The amount of compliments I got with this is actually crazy and I never even get compliments on my colognes. This cologne is legit like mighty mouse and GSP, the best pound for pound cologne out there and I'm glad social media doesn't mention this cologne. This NEEDS to be gatekept, do not tell any of your friends about this cologne (I have like 3 friends begging me to tell them what it is). IMO, its better than the JPG by FAR, they are kind of similar but ARMAF put their little twist on it and somehow made it better, xoxo Sky, I won't let my weight define me, only by scent.

I have JPG Le Male Elixir original, Lattafa The Kingdom and Lionheart. JPG is the best, deep, long, great, Lattafa is very close with smell, very close but with poor performance. Lionheart is great, more mint in start smell, not so deep at start, great projection, but after 8-12 hours on clothes is like JPG, on skin much before, but has great sillage and longevity. Great job from Armaf, this is EDP for every day, has great performance (I have Dior Sauvage elixir, Lionheart and CDNI Man are in top 3 for me with longivety and projection, I have also E. Armani SWY Int. and it is also great), very nice smell, very good price (29,30 EUR for 100 mL with task and shipping)!

I'm writing this review 2 days after buying Lionheart. Right out of the box, the fragrance is totally usable and doesnt need maceration like many other dupe fragrances. As advertised, it smells similar to JPG Elixir, but the mint freshness is more noticeable here. I also find it just a little less sweet than Elixir (which I prefer). The fragrance lasts a really long time - I sprayed it once on my arm and could still catch whiffs of it the next day (we’re talking about 20 hours, with a shower in between). Projection seems good, since I’ve already gotten 3 compliments, although I haven’t had much time to test it. The fragrance is imo totally worth it for the price.

Wearing Club de Nuit Lionheart Man alot lately, and wow—this stuff slaps. It takes the bold, sweet richness of Le Male Elixir and gives it a fresher, more versatile twist with a boosted mint note that really stands out in the opening. Performance is exactly what you’d hope for from Armaf—strong projection and amazing longevity, easily lasting 8+ hours and still going strong into the evening. Personally, this is my favorite version of this DNA. It’s got the power and warmth of Elixir but feels a bit more wearable year-round. If you love Le Male Elixir but want something a little cleaner and brighter, this one’s worth a shot.

This is beastmode, I literally get whifs of this hours 12 hours later. I sprayed this at 9 pm and I can still smell it strongly on my skin, this is the only fragrance in my collection that I can say that about besides oud satin mood extrait. In contention for the best middle eastern clone of all time. The scent is very close to the OG but there are some differences, for example it's missing that tobacco note which i may prefer because on my skin it turns ash tray like and also the honey is more pronounced on le male elixir. Le male elixir is still a strong fragrance but Lionheart lasts much longer. 9/10

I don't own JPG Le Male Elixir, so I can't really comment on how closely Armaf CDN Lionheart Man compares to the original. However, on its own merits, I think Lionheart Man strikes a very satisfying balance with its honeyed sweetness. It feels rich and appealing without becoming cloying, which is something I particularly appreciate. My opinion may change if I eventually smell the OG, but for now, I'm more than happy sticking with this far more affordable alternative. Even if it leans synthetic, it still delivers an enjoyable scent experience at a much more accessible price point.

I don't usually fw clones but I wanted to find a slant on the original Le Male Elixir DNA as there's something syrupy in the dry down that becomes unpleasant and annoying to me and reminds me of cough medicine. I prefer the smell of this one tbh. It stays fresher throughout, slightly menthol and aromatic, I don't pick up any honey which I'm good with. This has something damp/earthy in it that I'm not mad at. More mass appealing and versatile than the JPG. I've not tried any other clone. Is this the best bet for a fresher more aromatic version?

Could not find this anywhere and whilst in the store looking for something else I spotted a bottle of this, bought it blind and I do not regret it at all. The mint is excellent and it really transforms toward the sweeter portion with tonka and honey so seamlessly and with a level of grace I didn't think was possible for a clone of this price. Projects well for 3 hours and lasts for upwards of 8-10 on skin and overnight on clothes and is really close to JPGLME. Between this and the kingdom, buy whichever is cheapest and you will not be upset.

Purchased around November, have worn it quite a bit since then and I have to say that despite the kinda harsh opening it dries down beautifully. I get compliments almost every time I wear it even my boss asked me what I was wearing. Leaves a trail that had one of my coworkers and my boss tell me on the same day that they could smell when im in the buliding lol. A very great and affordable scent if you can get past the opening. If you like Le Male Elixir its pretty close to it, a close friend of mine always confuses it with it.

The scent is just amazing and so addictive throughout the whole process of the initial spray, giving you the strong mint and lavender smell, then when it starts to dry, it smells so warm and welcoming while still having some of that lavender. The sillage is honestly dumbfounding, you get nose blind really quickly; not even 30 minutes in and it’s hard to notice the strong scent however it is there. But then someone across the other side of the room acknowledges your scent and they love it too. Honestly beast mode.

I purchased this from Fragrancebuy and it made a bold statement straight out of the box. this smalls really classy, with a nice dose of tobacco. Just one spray on a vest that was hung in my closet and I could still smell it after 3 whole days. This is no joke. Now I know that I have to go easy on sprays. Doesn't smell harsh on the opening like a lot of other budget dupes. In my opinion, this is an easy 8/10, but I'll be back after some time for a reassessment.

This is more of a wintery-spring fragrance. Bright, fresh-mint, smoothened vanilla by the honey and tobacco. Sweet and masculine. Definitely is strong. If it were 1 thing it would be a very smooth vanilla peppermint. After the really harsh initial spray time period, it pretty much smells like a smooth vanilla peppermint until I scrubbed it off. Not feminine. Not unisex. I would recommend buying.

Got this yesterday. I sprayed it on myself in my aunt’s living room, she entered 30 minutes later and immediately seemed amazed and asked whose perfume that is. Everyone liked it. Definitely gonna gatekeep this considering how expensive le male elixir is. This is 95% le male elixir Projection, sillage and longevity are brutal. Two sprays will last you all day no kidding. This thing is nuts 🤣

Updating my last review to a love after wearing it properly. I'm an oversprayer but 5 sprays of this has been roaring off me for the past 5 hours with so signs of stopping, so I will remember that next time. It also keeps a bright spearmint freshness throughout making it so much more wearable than JPG to me. This is coming from a certified Armaf-hater who can't stand the CDN line.

Nose Note #1027 I'll be concise. I haven't smelled Le Male Elixir, this is basically like the Ultra Male DNA, but with a subtle touch of mint and perhaps less fruity, if you can call Ultra Male fruity (maybe super thick fruity). And with some tobacco honey (not realistic tobacco and honey, but a typical perfume rendition of them). Much like Lattafa Kingdom, but stronger. 8.5/10

Its maybe the stronger batch idk I got a decant I spray this to my arm twice 31.08.2025 at around 9 - 10pm and now 1.08.2025 10pm I can still smell it this is the longest last frag I ever tried(not like a beast but decently). I try liquid brun and the beast mode azzure oud but this is the longest ever also when the wind blows I can smell it from my arm after 1 day! İncredible.

It's a great fragarance with a great projection and Longevity. The smell is intoxicating but not in a bad way. That beautiful mint mixed with honey, lavender and vanilla are incredible 🥰. Longevity on my skin is 8 hrs on clothing till you wash it. The Sillage is strong , a room filler. Recommend for fall / winter /spring seasons and a great date night fragarance.

Lasts longer than Le Male Elixir, first 15 minutes it's 83-85% close to Le Male Elixir, after 30 minutes 90% similar. (Months later)EDIT: Side by side, first 20 mins Lionheart is more minty and It's little bit stronger, but Le Male Elixir is way less synthetic and projects better after hours, Its up to you. Overall 8/10 Btw, totally agree with @garantis28

What else, it's a compliment getter, girls love it, i actually hate it when i first time spray this, but let it macerated for a month and voila, it's became so smooth now, that's extra mint is just magic, lasting for 12hrs++, sweet fresh aromatic, solid 9/10 And you can use it almost at any occasion, anytime (carefully spray at day oc)

They removed the annoying cough syrup medicine smell at the opening. And made the mint and lavender stick longer to the skin. The sweetness of the vanilla is better in my opinion. And that’s coming from me, I don’t like le male elixir because of the heavy honey and Ricola cough syrup opening. 9/10 very addictive scent.

Got my bottle yesterday no maceration Terrible opening synthetic disgusting mint It goes away after 2 minutes to reveal some spiced version of le male elixir After some time the dry down shine as a darker, less sweet take on lme, almost powdery bright airy vanilla Great scent after 2 min, dont judge on the opening

Wow. Get this instead the OG this is way better than the OG. Better performance and better scent. This is a bit fresher and spicier than the OG. A room filler and garnered more compliments. Need a bottle back up just incase the price will rocketing due to a lot of people talking about this fragrance.

beast mode in a bottle! using 5 spray and i think it was too much 😂. the projection & sillage was crazy, longetivity entire day on my skin and maybe like 5 days on my sweater (specially the tabacc). the opening u got sweet honey tabacc but minty, and getting bold sweetness while go to the dry down.

No he tenido el gusto de oler Le Male Elixir pero al menos compre en Mcallen esta joya llamada Lionheart, no me arrepiento es espectacular. Si no te gustan los perfumes dulces para el frio o la noche este no es para ti. Sin duda llama mucho la atención de la gente que está a tu alrededor.

After maceration id say the opening is mintier than the OG but 2 minutes after its almost identical, same quality and the mintiness nice dosed. Good performance also great sillage. OG not so pricey so id advice to get the jpg, but if jpg get reformulated you know what to buy.

Amazing fragrance, just be aware the opening is a little harsh, but let it dry down a few minutes and you get a very close to JPG Le Male Elixir. Performance is very good, projection is average. Very mass appealing, everyone will compliment you when wearing it.

If this smells anything like le male elixer then it's amazing, my bottle will be here tomorrow will update then. Update it's great about 90 percent on late dry down more minty in the opening but definitely amazing 10/10 quality scent siiage projection

This cologne really is like LME but with a twist, it has some type of fresh sweet fruit scent that I don't get out of LME which makes me love this a lot more. Im definitely getting a backup bottle. EDIT: A girl said I smelt like a womans purfume :(

I'm usually not impressed by clones and think that they smell low quality compared to the original but this one smells identical and the quality is exactly the same. Maybe a tad bit more mint but barely noticeable it's a true 1:1

If Xerjoff Nexos had an extreme formulation with a hint of mint. at quarter of the price. Also, compared to Jean Paul Gaultier Elixir. Sweet, seductive, warm and lasts forever. I can not help myself from keep on smelling it.

I sprayed it on my friend before we headed out, and I’m not exaggerating when I say I kept finding myself drawn to him all night. The scent is irresistibly minty, incredibly delicious, and the projection is outstanding

This is my second review on this fragrance and I don't know if its just me but this kinda smells like shasta tiki punch, but in a good way its so airy and fruity that's just what it reminds me of.

I ordered this fragrance like 11 days ago and it still has not shipped yet, i'm getting really scared that its not going to show up. (Will make a review when it arrives, have a nice day!)

Glad it's fall again, been waiting to pull this amazing scent back out and it's gotten better over the summer sitting 10/10 all categories for fall, possibly early spring and winter.

My new favorite fragrance. I get Vanilla the first couple of hours, then dries down to a sweet, musky scent that lingers for 8+ hours easily for me. 9/10.
