Armaf Derby Club House Gold EDT Men opens with a moderate projection of citrus and spicy notes. The opening is fresh, light, and delectable. The most noticeable note is the bergamot. It takes a moment, then a prominent sweet red apple and pineapple note comes up along with the notes of tonka bean and the fragrance takes a fruity, sweet, and woody character. The apple is one or two steps above the pineapple. Simultaneously, the short-lived bergamot dissipates entirely. The cardamom and spicy notes blend themselves creating a spicy accord that is closer to the cardamom than any other spice. The jasmine and cedar are just a faint white floral and woody support touch. The amber adds a softly sweet and resinous accord in the far back. The combination of cedar, and tonka bean creates dry wood accord. The most noticeable opening to dry-down change is the bergamot which opens the fragrance as fresh and citrusy but it quickly dissipates and the fragrance switches to a dry, sweet, fruity, and woody scent. Of all the fragrances I have collected (over 100) this sits within the all time top 5 of universally liked, complimented, strong silage, and easily wearable fragrances for all occasions. I have never had a single person (particularly women) say they do not like this scent. Women love this smell on men. If you need a solid daily fragrance that can transition to night, that smells simple but complex, safe but sexy, and universally enjoyed this is a very solid option. One of the top armaf fragrances I own.

After a few weeks of purchasing this, maceration took some great effect. It smells way more awesome! All it took was spraying 10x and leave it a few weeks without the cap on. It is also a very complimented fragrance, not that it actually matters, but the fruity/woody combo is very well received by people in general.

This is great stuff. Like Montblanc Legend, but with a vanilla touch that makes it even better. Performance is also great, bit better than Montblanc Legend. I never smelled Legend Intense, but Derby Gold feels like a more powerful version of Legend EDT.

For the money you spend this is nothing short of amazing! One of the few frags that give me compliments, and great longevity. Would suit a person with confidence, and it is for sure a "manly" perfume.

Blind bought an opened and slightly used bottle for 8$ without any high hopes or expectations. And though I’m not blown away by this scent it is actually really nice. It has that fresh out of the shower scent though this is not a typical freshie. The dna is not something that hasn’t been done a thousand times before and you can certainly find better blended variants out there BUT considering the price this i REALLY NICE. Easy good to go frag suitable for the everyday!

#122 on my "Tour de Fragrance" of 250 scents in 250 days and another winner in the "Under $30" club. I love this stuff. Add Vanilla to Montblanc Legend (which I think is pretty weak stuff), improve the longevity and here you have it. It's yummy. We'll see how my vanilla crazy girlfriend, who we already know loves Layton, Eros and MFK Grand Soir, reacts to this $20 scent, but I suspect she's gonna love it, and I won't bring up the price.

Reminds me of curve for some reason, projects 3hrs, lasts 9hrs+ as close scent . I am not really a fan of the smelling like a smooth mix of pineapple and red apple. This will be better for you if you like smelling like that. I could not see a woman pulling off this scent but it isn't the most masculine scent in my opinion. 6.5/10 with price considered for me, I don't regret the purchase because it allowed me to learn if I am not a big fan of red apple and pineapple scents. I will throw it on every now and then for versatility.

Gas station "fragrance", smells like shit. Get anything else.

I fell in love with Ed Hardy Skulls & Roses about five years ago and it just don’t perform. Then I was introduced to Mont Blanc Legend which was similar enough smell and a little longer lasting but not much. Then I learned of Mont Blanc legend intense. Unfortunately it was discontinued by this time and I wasn’t paying $80+ for a 50 mL of anything Mont Blanc. I found a few samples on fragranceX and picked them up. I was blown away by its performance and started my search for the next best thing. When I heard of armaf’s version I instantly ordered a bottle. The opening, like most Armaf products is less than satisfying. But after about ten mins you get that 1:1 March of legend intense. And this stuff lasts ALL day! After the dry down that red apple and pineapple really shine. If you’re looking for that legend intense smell without the $80 to $150 price tag don’t hesitate to get a bottle of this juice.

Strange as I only get a very tiny similar scent to mont blanc or abercrombie. To me this smells identical to mauboussin pour lui in black,I asked my partner to test and she agrees completely. Although this has lesser projection and longevity. The fragrance is nice I don't get freshness although I detect slight citrus this is more a caramel sweetness. It smells good but you have to go heavy on the trigger. Lasts longer on clothes but I'd say spend the extra few pounds on pour Lui better blend and lasts longer

This smells more like Legend Intense to my nose, but yeah it's basically Mont Blanc Legend/Intense. In the opening it's not clear what you're going to get, but in 10 minutes it settles to Mont Blanc Legend Intense to my nose.. VERY fruity. It drys down to a boring flat waxy fir needle oil (pine) combination, I wish it had Ambergris at the end or something to make the dry down more sweet and pleasant.. odd end to a otherwise amazing fruity mid. 7/10

Derby Gold is similar to Mont Blonc Legend Intense.. but in my opinion smells better and lasts longer. Its a safe blind buy dont hesitate if interested in buying. This fragrance is like an intense version of legend intense. Citrus masculine quality and addictive scent. I really enjoy this fragrance.

The only flaw with this is you can’t wear it in warm weather.. other wise it’s perfect

To me its a dead ringer for Invictus Intense
