Desert Breeze

Desert Breeze is not a light freshie. The white florals round out the lemon, giving a sense of the whole fruit rather than just the sharpness of an essential oil. The rich citrus keys into a deep, thrumming oud. As it dries down, the lemon fades out while the jasmine sticks around with toned-down woods for several more hours of enjoyment. The name "Desert Breeze" just doesn't fit very well. I think of it as LemonOud.

The Armaf Atar range is quite impressive. Great bottle design and comes in a firm strong box presentation. As for the scent, this is interesting. It is a spicy tropical scent with a woody / oud mix to it. It will definitely catch attention and projects a energetic vibe for those wearing it. Gender wise this leans more towards men. I can see it working both in warmer weather and in colder climates, although you may want to keep the sprays less in colder weather. A great scent overall and would recommend to anyone who likes a spicy, fruity scent that has the warmth of woody oud notes.

I don't know how similar it is to Blue Sapphire, but Desert Breeze opens with light medicinal Oud and a slightly animalistic white floral that contrasts positively with the citrus note that appears after a few minutes. In the drydown, musk and sandalwood join the combination of notes and bring a creamy and velvety accord that continues like this until the end. It has good longevity, around 7-8 hours, and a moderate projection of 1 hour and a half. I wouldn't wear it on very hot days, but otherwise it would be versatile.

Interesting. Tropical light oud for sure. May need to let it mature for a bit. Not a love yet but not terrible. I'll see how it smells in a month or so. Does smell kind of desert like.

Sadly not for me, just very heavy and medicinal...would never wear this type of scent
