I came across this scent only by chance after browsing thru Lulu Hypermarket's lineup of perfume sale online. I was looking for great summer fragrances for men that are affordable but so far there are only few of them after checking with fragrance "experts" in youtube. Most of recommendations so far are duds and disappointments. But after seeing these glowing reviews for this scent here in fragrantica, I decided to go directly to the store and indeed, ended up buying the scent. This is my second Armaf bottle after Club De Nuit Intense for Men. The box/packaging is very good, it has a smooth plastic composite feel that makes you think that its a waterproof box. The bottle is beautifully designed but the upper part of it connecting the nozzle and the cap is loosely sealed. So trying to squeeze a juice or two requires a very careful handling and practice. Not really a big deal here. Talking about the scent, there are two words I can quickly think of. INVICTUS and EROS. It's about 85% PR Invictus and the remaining 15% belongs to Versace Eros, because of its minty component especially the drydown on your skin. This mint component is not listed in the official notes but it's also possible that I may be wrong here. Maybe the culprit is cypress and vanilla. This fragrance is a hybrid, but not a kind of Frankenstein hybrid. It's a nice and great combination actually. I also agree with other reviewers here who also smell traces of Coach for Men especially in the opening. The opening scent is awesome. But unlike Coach for Men, longevity is not an issue here. Now I have yet to test drive this if it can survive the summer/desert heat. My Invictus fared good, my Diesel Only the Brave fared well, and even my Nautica Voyage also performed well (heck, even my Burberry Summer fought toe-to-toe with the heat considering its weak longevity). But so far, I am loving the smell that is coming from this bottle and sprayed to my body. The affordable cost is a bonus! El Cielo, the name suits it perfectly. I purchased this as a new fragrance for the spring-time but this scent is pure SUMMER! This is going to be MY after Memorial day fragrance! A wonderful bright freshie scent indeed, but I'd recommend wearing this mainly on a bright, sunny, warm to hot day! If I had to compare it another fragrance the closest likeness would be 1989's Clairborn for Men! I'm not saying this is a clone of Clairborn but E.C.is a very similar TYPE of fragrance. Both share that casual, beach going kind of vibe, I DEFINITELY recommend El Cielo to anyone male or female looking for a solid summer scent! I honestly keep sniffing my wrist because of it smelling so darn sweet and tasty! So, this is definitely a WIN of a blind buy! Get it for wearing on all summer-time occasions. It is light yet longlasting, casual to well dressed, safe and unisex! The bottle alone is just fun and very attractive. Personally, I have no criticisms to offer other than I have to wait a couple of months to start wearing it full-time. El Cielo is worth the wait! Thumbs up to Armaf!

At first I liked it, but wasn't as satisfied died as I hoped. While I was walking around later I kept getting wafts of this wonderful aroma and questioned is that me? I came to the conclusion that the sillage is amazing. Very smooth with that vanilla almost pepper in there. It must be the wood accord. Up close it is very youthful with that melon. But arm's length the vanilla does its magic. I got complemented 5 hrs after I applied it. Out side. I couldn't smell it. I thought it went away and my buddy said wow that smells amazing whatever it is. It's a safe blind buy. Not offensive in any way. Especially if you like freshies. Scent 8/10 Longevity 6.5/10 Projection 5/10 dead average on my skin Price 9/10 It was a winner blind buy to me.

I blind bought this Fragrance after seeing a few reviewers on YouTube and thought it looked good. I was not disappointed. This fragrance opens up and smells awesome in the heat. For the first few hours it is a sweet, fruity and citrusy fragrance with a fresh squeezed lemon in there to set it off. After about 3-4 hours this fragrance enters a vanilla phase, very pleasant and loses the citrus edge. And finally, there is a final stage to this fragrance at around 8 hours where it becomes a nutty and creamy fragrance that may be a skin scent but very detectable to my nose. Projection on this one is about 2-3 hours and longevity is 8+ hours and this gem holds a spot on my hot weather rotation.

This smells like Carolina Herrera 212 sexy men in the opening and the dry down smells a mix of Versace Eros and Paco Rabanne Invictus Aqua . This one is best suited for summer time . Though it smells extremely synthetic , it does not seem to offend anyone . The scent character is fresh and sweet . I get the vanilla and melon prominently , and some fresh Green apple similar to Eros. It does last very long on my skin , 12 hours plus , but the sillage is okayish . it smells sickeningly sweet when smelled up close, but in the sillage its really shines . Overall a mass pleasing fruity fresh sweet scent that smells unisex to my nose and a young guy can pull it off easily . Batch: 05/2019

I’m actually very impressed with this stuff. Maybe it was just lucky that I found it to be one of my longest lasting fragrances. It smells wonderful from start to finish, which is typically by the next shower. The projection isn’t massive at any point, but it does well enough for the first 3 hours or so. After that, the wafts coming off my neck and wrists have plenty of strength in to the 8 hour mark. It’s typically over 90 degrees during the afternoon where I live, and the extra heat turns the volume up! 8.5/10 for an overall, everyday fragrance. Bubblegummy, smooth, fresh, and masculine.

Jesus H Christ... I can’t get enough this scent. I purchased this based on all of you guys reviews. Can I just say that I was looking for a Mont Blanc Spirit alternative for a cheaper price and for once all of you were bang on. Thank you to all of your reviews, I am going to have to order another bottle next month. I just can’t get over as to how good this smells. Opening; fresh and fruity. Very synthetic first minutes. After some time it becomes sweeter and warmer (vanilla and amber). On my skin the dry down reminds me of CK Reveal. Compared them and its almost the same. This one last longer;, about 8 to 12 hours with 3 a 5 sprays. One thing i hate about el Cielo is the cap of the bottle. Its cheap plastic and cracks when you pull it off. Bought it for 22 euro (100 ml edp).

Fresh, sweet, fruity and youthful. Ideally suited to the under 25 age group for daytime wear. Great projection and longevity, especially for a so-called cheapie. Can be safely blind bought if you like this genre of fragrance. Easy to recommend with one small caveat: I would advise using it in rotation with other fragrances rather than on a constant daily basis because it may become a bit tiresome after a while.

This is not a close clone of Invictus/I.Aqua, it's about 70% close. The opening is sweeter because of the melon note and the drydown is more powdery. This fragrance is for someone that dislike the spiciness from Rasasi Hawas. It's easier to wear, sweeter, and more appealing to younger gents. Performance is 7-8 hours which is fantastic, considering my bottle is a 2023 batch bottle. For 20$ this stuff is a steal

Invictus dry down 70% Opening is a melony type Invictus vibe not bubble gum. I love it and so does my wife. She is Latin so she loves the Spanish name too .... Cielo means Heaven. I get the Invictus vibe but I think it is its own sent... and for $20-25 a bottle it is a steal. Great for Spring and summer. To me it lasts all day on my shirt. Worth a blind buy. I did and then immediately bought another bottle.

Fruit, and powdery citrusy fragrance with a hint of vanilla. The powder is used beautifully in this fragrance making it very versatile. Fragrance lasts a lot and is very mass appealing. Definitely smells like Aqua 2016 on the air, and on skin is Invictus Aqua 2016 with a hint of more fruit. Overall, mannn for the price: the best bang for your buck summer and warm weather formal fragrance out there today!

I have had my bottle for over 3 years and have to say this is one where Armaf was at the top of their game. It's a potent freshie that always draws compliments and even had a guy buy 2 bottles that worked at a hotel I was staying in because he was blown away that a fragrance could smell that good for $30. Invictus Acqua Parfum Intense Slightly Synthetic but so is Invictus Solid 9/10 for a cheapie

Very impressed by this one. I bought it because it was so cheap and it rivals some of my more expensive freshies. Worth the blind uy for sure! Fresh tropical fruity mixed with more of a Versace man eau fraiche smell to me. Edit: After a full wear I can f confirm this is actually much closer to Hawas/Invictus. Still great though!

Aquatic - very pleasant but not detectable for the owner I felt like i spray water so I oversprayed around 10 times My girlfriend asked me if I put the entire bottle on me. And later was very pleased with the smell - she told me that the smell fooled her So good job Armaf - blind buy, excelent for summer, and girls will love it.

Such a fresh, citrus, fruity shower gel type fragrance. Slightly similar to armaf rixos but better and less sweeter. Good for daily office, gym wear. Close to 6 hours of longevity. Projection is good in the first 1-2 hour after that skin scent for the next 3-4 hours. Overall good one from armaf.

Very nice smell from opening to dry down, my 1st impression about this perfume is it smells like Versace Eros and later smells like Hugo Boss Bottled. It's long lasting even after 9 hours still I can smell on my T-shirt. Great scent for a cheap and affordable price. Well done Armaf

I must say that this is a amazing scent,to my nose it smells like Abercrombie first instinct mixed with mont blanc legend spirit with a hint of eros and its mixed right,I have to give this scent a 9 out of 10 cause it performs great and the smell is great

My opinion this smells closer to YSL L'Homme than Invictus Aqua 2016 but it definitely don't smell like Invictus Aqua 2018. This is a really good fresh fragrance to have in the collection. It's also a powerful fragrance too. Blind buy worthy!

Pretty clean and fresh scent. I like the smell of this fragrance, but for some reason doesn't project for me. I'm going to let it macerate and hope performance gets better. As of right now it's like a 6/10

Its been almost a year since I last used it, now it is performing well. Opening is Fruity and dry down is feel of freshness, if you go little harder on sprays, then it lasts almost 6 hours on skin

just add minor revision to DWOG, this is more Boss The Scent Private Accord than the OG. I guess it's safe to say Armaf El Cielo is Boss The Scent Private Accord Aqua.

It's pretty synthetic at the first months but if you let it sit for like 3 months it become more rounded also it became a bit soapy for me (in a good way) ,worth a try

El Cielo by Armaf is a fragrance i bought for my little brother. i chose two Armafs, one for each sibling, and put them into my cart on fragrancebuy so i could get free shipping on the other, more interesting perfumes i'd ordered. i picked this one because it sounded fresh and fun, but also because it has some notes in common with another fragrance, one i'd gifted him from the reserves of my teenage perfume collection. that's the first scent he really liked that he smelled, so i figured that after he runs out the ten-ish milliliters left in there he'd need a new bottle. this does smell like that one, but we'll get to that in a bit. El Cielo is a bubblegum dance song in fragrance form. it smells like the feeling you get when you listen to Aqua or Smile.dk, uplifting, sweet, and carefree throughout. the bright, watery melon/apple combo is the lead synth riff in this particular number, with the pounding 909 kick drums being the sweet and powdery vanilla. there are other players here like the citruses and aromatics but those aren't the parts that make you want to dance. and much like a bubblegum dance song, the good and catchy parts are basically the entire fragrance. or song. i forget where i'm at with this metaphor. basically i'm saying there's not much of an evolution from start to finish here. the biggest shift in El Cielo's top-10 2000s club banger tune is the opening aquatic burst from the melon eventually dims down, and then in the third quarter it becomes more vanilla-forward. ear-catching, hooky intro; smooth drum outro so the dj can fade a new track in. yes, i will take this metaphor as far as i can, because i really, really like bubblegum dance music and i also really like El Cielo here. it's a very fresh, very energetic fragrance for a very good price, and for what it lacks in intrigue and depth it makes up for by being a whole lot of fun. not every song needs to be a 14 minute, challenging harsh noise piece. sometimes ya just need 3 minutes of pressurized, bangin' joy. oh, and El Cielo also smells like a better version of Playboy New York. like, a lot like it. side by side, New York smells like a shitty drug store bargain bin clone of the Armaf. this has a bit more of an aromatic edge than NY, and the ozonic melon really takes it to a cut above. i LIKE that fragrance for what it is, but this is over twice as good for only twice the price. Just got my bottle in today. Smells like "PR - Invictus" in the opening and dries down "Dior - Homme 2020" (Citrus/Woods). This is pretty friggin awesome. I did NOT like "Lattafa - Najdia" at all...but this, I like a LOT! Only wearing 3 sprays to test it out, going to wear it full strength tomorrow layered over some vanilla. EDIT: (01AUG22 Review) Well...this fragrance is great for a good 2-3 hours...then it retreats to a skin scent with very little sillage. My wife couldn't tell I had anything on after 4 hours...and I almost couldn't either. Scent endurance on clothes is better than on skin. I could smell El Cielo if I put my arm up to my nose, but that was about it. Even the skin-scent of El Cielo wasn't very powerful. ****Now, I have to state that I'm a bit spoiled by frags like "PR - Phantom", Lattafa - RWI", "AG - Cloud" and "Bharara - King" that have "skin-scent" periods that STILL have a significant sillage trail. So the lackluster drydown phase of El Cielo is unacceptable to me.**** El Cielo does indeed smell great, but I'm not counting this as a durable fragrance for the summer without extended reapplication. Kicking this one to the back of the line and seeing if Maceration has an effect on it's performance. In the meantime, I'll look at picking up "Lattafa - Ra'ed Luxe" for a fragrance to carry me thru the remainder of Summer. 27AUG22 FINAL VERDICT: Maceration didn't improve it's performance, sent it packing to a neighbor of mine that likes "Invictus Aqua" type fragrances. I picked up "Chanel Allure Homme Sport" recently and it performs MUCH better brand new than El Cielo did after maceration. Adios El Cielo....

Armaf semi-banger. I have to say I couldn't place what this is a clone of, I can't quite smell the Invictus here. In it's own right I kind of initially thought of this as a summer scent, but it can often lean a bit too heavy on the fruit in my climate (dry hot Med style) to feel right, and so I found I didn't wear it in summer as much as I perhaps thought I might. There is something in the top note that reminds me of original bubblegum flavour at times, and the melon is more of a fruity melon than say Polo Blue. That said, it is pleasant, clean and though I would imagine synthetic, really doesn't come across that way to me, especially as compares to other Armaf frags, some of which are headache juice to me. It is quite reminiscent of Afnan's 9am Dive in the way of being a freshie, but kind of a sweeter one (though this leans more dry than 9am dive, perhaps the lavender/cypress ). With that frag and this, I found that I have enjoyed wearing them more in autumn/winter when I want something that is fresh as it is not toooo fresh and the sweetness is more appreciated then.

Although this one is good for its scent but somehow too generic. However the best part is about its sillage. This one works great and still has high sillage through high heat weather. This one is great choice for summer without a doubt. One thing that I concern is about the built of bottle. Although it is a nice looking but a bit of crackle especially the cap and the blue plastic part of it. The blue part you can grab with two finger gently then bend a bit and you would hear a sound of how crackle it is. I have got sealed one and everything seems perfect except this built durability issue. I am more in love with the dry down of this, it has that fresh vanilla smell, not too overwhelmingly sweet, yet sweet enough that it reminds me of Eros a bit? Am I crazy? The opening is more of a fresh melony smell - I can't detect too much cistrus for some reason, which I prefer (Without citrus). My only complaint is that this thing lasts literally 1 hour, and after that it's just skin scent. Gym go-to fragrance is what I'd call it. If you want it to last 2 hours (which is a hard bet), spray at least 8-10 times (sounds a little crazy but hear me out).

First of all, this is a clean cut copy of Invictus Aqua. You don’t need this in your collection if you already have Invictus Aqua or Invictus, for that matter. BUT, if you think Invictus Aqua/Invictus are beast performers... This one blows both of them out of the water!! It’s so freakin strong that my gf could smell it on me after I took two long & hot showers the same day, with 6 hours between them. WOW! So don’t be triggerhappy with this one, one or two sprays is recommended. The smell itself is great and has nothing to do with Boss or Lacoste, IMO.

I was searching for a melon fragrance. This is it. The pyramid scent is very accurate: it opens with a sweet melon and apple scent, progresses into a violet scent and ends with a vanilla powdery smell. It smells great for the price. It doesn't last very long and doesn't really project but for the price it's reasonable and does an okay job. Very pleasant smell nonetheless. Only for people who enjoy fresh and sweet scents. I also can easily imagine my girlfriend or woman wearing this, it's pretty unisex in my opinion.

I already compare this with other Invictus buddy: Rasasi Hawas and Zara Seoul (havent tried Invictus yet), the result El Cielo is the best. Last very long (around 10 hours) and the fruity notes are very firm, not like Hawas and Seoul you need spray 3 times in one place to get clearer notes + they last for only 4 hours. Another thing are Hawas and Seoul has this faint bitter smell, maybe both of them are not suitable with my skin chemistry. For the price around 17$ this is money well spent

Nose Note #29 Sweet airy watery something. Not so bubblegumy. Not very serious, not too naive. Very summer-like. Needs liberal spraying for good performance. It can feel a large room with a faint pleasant smell of something sweet and distantly fruity. Doesn't smell cheap. Of course, if you are a hardcore parf-head, then you may find it boring or generic or bad-taste. I think it's great. Especially for the price

When i first smelt it, it reminded me of Invictus Aqua on the drydown, although the notes are materially different. A solid summer fragrance, fresh at first, fruity sweet (due to the melon note) in the middle and woody/ vanilla like in the drydown. A cheapie with reasonable performance, whats not to like? A 'dumb reach' as they are very fond of saying on the forum :P

I just bought it from Notino for 11,90€ and i feel like a burglar. So good for its price and perfect for summer. Sweet, powdery and minty. It's not 1 to 1 clone to Invictus but it's good. Lasts 6-7 hours on my skin and even more on clothes. Enjoyable summer scent and good performance for less than 12€. I have nothing to complain about.

Great smell out of the box but doesnt perform without maceration. Leaving it for a few months helped, but still have to overspray if i dont want it to become a skin scent in under an hour. If you have a phobia of cucumber smell stay away, it has a note that distinctly resembles that. (i don't mind it so 7/10)

A punch of sweet tropical fruits with average projection,performance and scent trail. Quality is not that bad.Don't smell it close to where you sprayed because it will smell different and synthetic but its scent trail smells amazing and way better than up close just with a bit synthetic edge to it

The fruit and citrus opening is fairly brief. Cypress is quite prominent throughout, the woody vanilla ending is pleasant and the amber isn’t overdone as it can be with Armaf fragrances. Quite nice, though it is very powdery. Suggested deodorant match : David Beckham Classic Blue or Respect.

Smell just like invictus and Boss the Scent. I got it on amazon deal for $13. I think for that price it was very worth it. It lasts a decent amount and it smells great. Just overall a good buy. I would get this if under $20. 30 not so much. Bubblegum, sweet, fresh.

In the air it's pretty good and reminds me of a potential flanker style of Invictus, but there's this certain odd almost food like funk on skin...It may just need time to maturate. I'll let it sit for a while longer and update. If you already have inpos of PR I'd probably pass on this one. It has some bubblegum sweetness, but lacks some of the subtle freshness of the aqua versions. It's almost like a generic sacarin artificial sweetness that kills it for me. I like my synthetics, but with experience I've learned that although' Armaf is a great house with good quality, when they miss they miss hard just like every other house. If you're looking for an Invictus/Aqua inspo I'd go for Lattafa Haayati or even Najdia. Also somewhat reminiscent of MB Legend Spirit without the pepper note.

I love this. Both fresh and sweet. Starts off very aquatic, summery fresh and dries down to a masculine sweetness, like Dylan Blue & Eros. I wasn't expecting much, and I typically give ARMAF fragrances only a LIKE, but this one is a LOVE. And considering how cheap it is, it's a winner! Safe blind buy (it was for me), you'll love it. And more importantly, girls will love it.

I don’t understand what this sent wants to be. I thought it was a generic mess. (just an opinion though) but if frags like Invictus, acqua di gio absolu and spicebomb night vision edt work for you then you might enjoy El Cielo.

Synthetic bubblegum melon scent for warmer days, not a total garbage but feels cheap, heavy and kind of headachy. Bottle is cheap too and my sprayer was leaking after some time. Won't be buying it again.
