Futura La Homme Intense

This is a beast, hands down. Sweet aquatic with a hint of spice... Puts Invictus to shame. If Invictus came in EDP form, it's a stronger than Rasasi Hawas. I bought this during the spring time...I read it was like Invictus and they were right. It's under $20. It's thicker and stronger than Invictus... But this is a must buy, and retire your invictus. You'll save a big chunk of money. But the bottle is heavy and thick...I've honestly dropped this frag a few times and it didn't break. The juice is great, again must buy. Ten out of ten...point blank. I used seven sprays...both wrist, back & front of my neck, chest, front and back of my shirt. Will I buy this again?...Hell Yes! Mont Blanc Emblem as others have said. The iris makes it very wearable at night. Too spicy for daytime wear. Scent: 9/10 - Longevity: 8/10 - Sillage: 8/10 - Uniqueness: 7/10 - Wearability: 10/10 - Versatility: 10/10 - Quality: 10/10 - Value for money: 10/10 -Overall: 9/10

I'm not one of the "Bro" type of guys--the gym-loving, overly masculine type of dude. That's not me. "Futura La Homme Intense" is a "Bro" fragrance like Dior "Sauvage" or Paco Rabanne "Invictus'. FLHI is a cheaper, similar version of Montblanc's "Emblem", but I like this fragrance. It's fresh, clean, very "bro"-ish, but I can dig it. It's a casual fragrance. It's classified as a nighttime fragrance, but I can totally see myself going to Walmart in some sweatpants while wearing this cologne,but do not base your opinion and decisions on me. For any fragrance, read reviews before buying it, but take them with a grain of salt. Everyone has their own opinion regarding smells. Some people love a specific fragrance. Some people hate it. My advice is for you to get a sample of ANY fragrance before you ever buy it. That way, you can assess it yourself and have your thoughts, rather than strictly going off someone else's thoughts and opinions. So, do not let my opinion influence you. Edit 10/15/2023– This IS one of the fragrances that gives me the most compliments from random strangers. Strangers do not usually compliment me but this one has given me compliments from random people.

I haven't tried Montblanc Emblem, which apparently copied this one note for note, but this is a nice fragrance for the price. It also seems to smell different to everyone who smells it. To me, it plays as a freshie/aquatic with a white floral vibe. I don't get "spicy" or most of the notes that are listed in the profile. Pleasant, casual, completely inoffensive. Well worth the $21/100ml price. Edit June 27, 2023: Have worn this a few times over the past 5 months, which is a considerable amount of time in my fragrance journey. What I perceived as "aquatic" previously is actually a significant dose of violet leaf, which is the predominant note here. Violet lovers take note! This is well supported by tonka (which lends a creamy vanilla sweetness) and cardamom (of the LNDLH variety). The cinnamon and lavender are subtle but add to the whole. Really not getting much grapefruit, and sage is one of those notes that I can never detect. Overall, this is a spring/fall scent, violet aromatic, tonka smooth and cardamom inviting. Well done juice, especially for the price.

Nice smelling but doesn't last too long on me - maybe 3 hours and sillage is low. It seems to have disappeared and then you get a small whiff of it but it does sit close to the skin - disappointing for an EDP. I don't like it.. I used 20% of a bottle and moved on from it. I went back and it's kind of a sub par scent that pales compared to modern freshies that are far better smelling with similar notes. The sage and grapefruit in this just aren't jiving at all with the violet and tonka, and what the hell is cinnamon doing in the mix? Ultra weird aquatic scent in the heart that kinda reminds me of Kenneth Cole Black and other 2000's and early 2010's type citrus aquatics. Whatever this is has been perfected with modern freshies like YSL Y and even D&G K. Don't buy this.

This fragrance doesn't know if it wants to smell like grapefruit with warm spice or sweaty 40 year old man, the cinnamon and other spices just do not play well with the citrus. Such a confusing and cloying scent with an awful bottle design to match. Gives me a headache if i smell it for more than 15 seconds on a tester strip, traumatizing juice.

There's a good chance that many reviews submitted for this fragrance were intended for "Armaf Futura La Homme" rather than the Intense version, which is probably a different fragrance altogether. Let me tell you, Futura La Homme Intense is a BAD fragrance. Think axe body spray (in terms of the bad low quality rather than the smell itself), but a little less of the repulsive propellant smell. There are some notes in this fragrance that I sort of liked, but in the end, I can't help but feel like this is overall a rather repulsive fragrance, and people around you would be better off not smelling this fragrance.

Just tried it out, July 2016 batch. quite similar to MB emblem for sure, has that overall Montblanc fragrance vibe especially on the dry down. Longevity is impressive on the first try, could still smell it on my clothes and hand for 6 hours. Projection is strong for the first hour or so and then it envelops you in a way, that you continue to get whiffs of the fragrance for 6 to 7 hours. Great fragrance but you can acquire a Montblanc for more or less the same price.

so its like mont blanc copied this as its listed release year is 2010 whereas emblem released after 2014

It’s odd that Armaf would do a clone of Emblem since that is already cheap and not rated well.

Donna why nobody smells chic for men here. It is identical. Both are great
