Hunter Killer Man

This stuff is great.. major compliment-getter. I can't speak for it smelling like Mancera Red Tobacco or Intense version though. Be advised - it is VERY STRONG.. like, fill the room strong. But, overall, great fragrance especially for the price. Update: it definitely RESEMBLES Mancera Red Tobacco/ Intense.. but, i cant say this is a clone.. I honestly like this much better.. to me, its more complex.. I really love this fragrance. Dare I say this may be my favorite Armaf fragrance and it's even in my top 10. I'm sure I'll get some hate for that, but.. I like what I like lol

I think that Armaf is my favorite clone house out there, they have so many hits and this one is definitely included. Hunter Killer is a green apple twist on Mancera’s Red Tobacco, not a 1/1 clone at all. Hunter Killer is the more wearable and approachable fragrance out of the two but they both have ENORMOUS sillage and longevity, they aren’t coming off until you take a shower so be careful with your sprays! If you have any interest at all in this scent profile do not hesitate and pick this one up!

I own red tobacco, maison alhambra signatures no ii and emir wild and tobacco and also this. The other 2 are definite clones of red tobacco but this isn't anywhere close. I detect no tobacco note and it comes off to me as very fresh. I stick by my 5/10 rating as far as it being a clone of red tobacco. Overall I do like the scent. I also want to add the scent is very light. Doesn't seem to project very well.

This is not red tobacco. The opening smells just like mancera red tobacco but the dry down is a bit different: much creamier and cleaner, less spicy. The spice is there but it’s muted. This stuff is absolutely amazing. The opening isn’t my favorite but the dry down is. Not a safe blind buy but amazing fragrance. I echo the comment below, this is a top Armaf fragrance.

Not sure about how this compares to red tobacco, but this is a very nice fragrance. Definitely needs to sit for a few weeks, as it has a very harsh opening when brand new. Once it has, it smells like a fresh, spicy apple pie on the opening, and dries down very smoky, like burning incense.

A more wearable Red Tobacco. This is one is very underrated imo. It lasts a pretty good time as well. I detect a cherry note which is not listed. That cherry shies throughout with tobacco and other notes. I love this one. A beauty and a beast at the same time.

This stuff is so good. I can’t stop trying to smell my arm. Best Armaf Fragrance by far and if you are thinking about getting it I really would. Beast mode projection as well with this.

Initially I disliked it, but currently it is one of my favorites. It is fruity, fresh, tobaccy. You may find similarities with Red Tobacco, but they are not much similar.

After 3 months of maceration this has got closer to red tobacco. It's still fresher than rt but the tobacco has come out more. 7.5/10 for my rating. Old rating was 5/10

I have several Armaf fragrances and this is my favorite. Beautiful sexy spicy and addictive - its so good. Longevity is 12 hours on my skin. For the price its a steal

This can't be a clone of red tobacco, way to fresh and absolutely no tobacco note to my nose. I'll let it macerate but highly disappointed with this one. 5/10.

Potent. Masculine. Peppery. Hot spicy. My kind of vibe. Love it. Everything is perfect for me. 3rd bottle smile to me

Really nice for the price. It’s fairly different. Masculine. Good longevity. Recommended. 9/10 - Love it.

This is different from Mancera Red Tabaco, but i really do like it. 9/10

Less powdery and more fresh Detour Noire

You need to let it macerate for a few months . Initially when I got it it was light and airy and had a slight resemblance to Red Tobacco which i own as well. However it was not as potent and it felt fresher and to be honest I was a little disappointed by the performance Since I had other fragrances in my rotation this was let to sit for over a year. It has changed a a lot and gotten a lot stronger. Where it excels now is in projection and silage. It is much closer to RT now but not as complex and not in the dry down. It is a slightly fresher sweeter take on RT Is it a safe buy . Hell no !! Neither is RT. they are both an acquired taste and not a crowd please. For a fragrance newbie the first sniff would be repulsive and smell like Bug Spray or something an exorcist would use to ward off demons. But give it time and it does grow on you. Is it a replacement for RT ?. .. NO its not . especially in the dry down.

I remember smelling red tobacco a few years back and all I can remember is that I did not like it, though for some reason I always really wanted to like it. While buying samples I stumbled upon hunter killer and read up on it. I decided to add it because why not, expecting to not be a huge fan of it, I love it. There are a lot of spicy scents I don't care for but this one feels smells very warm and mellow to me. I would not put it in my top favourites but it is definitely a scent I love smelling on myself. I want to go smell red tobacco again or get a sample, because I can not remember what it smells like so I'm not sure how close it is and if I'll like it now that so much time has passed, but I'm definitely thinking about getting a full bottle of this, all depends on if I have some other fragrances that I might like a little bit more. Lovely scent. 8/10

Nose Note #1120 I have Red Tobacco and Red Tobacco Intense. This is pretty pretty far away... The general direction is there, but this is much MUCH weaker. I'm surprised by "long lasting" votes. This is slightly above moderate. The scent is made to be more palatable for a wider audience, because Red Tobacco can be very suffocating. For example, I can't smell Red Tobacco upclose, it's too strong. But I can bury my nose into Hunter Killer as much as I like. It's almost like it has the deep drydown of Sauvage without all the citrus and pepper stuff, but also something from a wider mass market. The patchouli are definately there and only make this further apart from the OG. Well... I'm still looking for a good Red Tobacco replacement, and I'm still to find one. So far AaZ Tafakhar is the best 7/10

My bottle was produced in Dec 2023, so the juice has been in the bottle for over a year. First impression is that the strongest notes I can detect are the Cinnamon, Saffron, Guaiac Wood and Tobacco. I'm not getting a bug spray vibe that some have reported at all. There was an initial touch of sourness at first, but that disappeared in the drydown. To my nose, it's a lovely warm spicy, sweet and alluring scent. The Tobacco is definitley there and balances the sweetness of the top notes very well. I think it has some similarity to Red Tobacco, but Hunter Killer is lighter and fresher. It's also not a beast mode fragrance and sillage is average. However, for £20 I think you have to have reasonable expectations. I really like it.

I have not smelled Mancera Red Tobacco, but this Armaf scent still immediately smelled familiar to me. At first application, it reminds me very slightly of Jacques Bogart OMS Ruby - a little bit of fruity sweetness and some funky incense over a cloying tobacco base. I am not a fan of the opening of OMS Ruby, but thankfully Hunter Killer only just barely reminds me of that stage of that fragrance. At the drydown, however, this smells very similar to the licorice-tobacco Insurrection II Wild by Reyane Tradition. So, if you like that fragrance, I'd go for this one in a heartbeat. It's similar but different enough to be its own thing.

to me it is very pleasant, nice frag. its realy smoky, so much that its like your clothes smells like they been exposed to smoke i can smell cherry, or almonds also.. i can also smell hint of sauvage elixir, nutmeg probably. for 17eur/100ml it is no brainer.. blind buy worthy?? maybe??

This is really a beast mode fragnance. It has the red tobacco DNA but with a good twist to it. It projects even to next day. Maceration changes the scent profile closer to red tobacco after some months but its still way smoother.

What happened with the older flags of Arabian branches ? All of them are being so weak . That Hunter is well hidden : no one notice him 🧛♂️

Opening: A fine opening of spices, pepper, a bit of an apple, cherry and tobacco. Could be blended better together cause the smells feel a bit all over the place but generally it's a pleasant smell. 6.5/10 Later: Sadly, the opening notes vanish relatively quickly, 30-60 minutes, and you're left with boring vanilla, some wood and a tiny bit of spices. 5/10 Projection and sillage: Projection is average, 1-2 of projection and then it becomes a skin scent. 5/10 Price:quality 5.5/10 Overall: It's a perfume with an interesting opening which doesn't deliver later on. If the development would be closer to the top notes it'd be much better perfume, not just another average position among thousands. Overall grade: 5.5/10

Bit of a weird one - somewhere between a 'like' and an 'ok' for me. Quite strong scent - good projection and longevity. The actual fragrance for me is hard to put a finger on, it's not sexy or particularly alluring to my nose but it's unique and intriguing. Reminds a little bit of ash trays for some reason - cherry tobacco ash tray. Hard to think of occasions where this would work well - maybe something like a jazz gig or a retro styled cocktail bar. Smells more expensive than it is but it doesn't scream class either. I'd say it's a well dressed mature man's fragrance, maybe 40+. But if you're dressed smartly it could work for any man. It's belongs with a suit for me - not a casual fragrance.

I’m not sure how I feel about this, an unusual more-masculine scent that might take some getting used to. Sweeter and more fruity-floral than expected, with noticeable nutmeg but slightly leathery and earthy as well. A little old-fashioned reminiscent of a musty antique shop. Fairly versatile for cooler weather (even fresh enough for a cool summer) and good value but not a recommended blind buy. Strong performance though, and love the James Bond-esque box.

Another case of enthusiasm: it smells better when you try it than when you use it. Again, some clones lose out to the OG in blending. There are very inexpensive fragrances that conceal the synthetic with clever blending. This is not the case here.

I can't really put my finger on it. Do I like it? Yes. Do I dislike it? Kinda. On one hand it smells unique and fresh, on the other hand it smells like some kind of detergent. It's an interesting perfume, but better sample it before buying.

I don't find it fresh, not al all, it is sweet with crisp of something. Smells like one perfume I bought 30 years ago. It is not bad. It is good although not WOW.

Man this thing is smokey. Hot and warm. There is nothing refreshing or light about this fragrance. I get incense and tobacco for sure but the other notes really warm it up. I will let it macerate a month or so and check back. I thought about returning it but the price I paid makes me want to wait it out. But man this thing is strong. Think about what your shirt would smell like after hanging around a bonfire where all they burned was incense and cinnamon. Sheesh.

Don't be fooled by the lovely first 10-15min. This is all bugspray.

Probably the best Armaf fragrance made! Nice twist on "Mancera Red Tobacco". Not a 1 to 1 clone but a very nice fragrance either way. Opening is a little harsh but as soon as it dries down, it becomes a beautiful incense heavy, cherry tobacco fragrance with some patchouli and cinnamon in the background. I get some leather notes as well, even though its not listed. Definitely sample first.. not for everyone. 8 plus hours of longevity.. stays on clothes for days!

everything was nice until the dry down about 4 hours after I applied it, when I realized I smelled like Bounce dryer sheets. after the nice peppery and woody blend I tried out on a cold day this was the ultimate letdown for me. I wanted to cry, it was like finding out your high school crush just asked out their crush. I wanted to like this so bad and it passed all the tests until the 11th hour. Then I had to shower and throw something else on

I don’t know about the fragrance but I’m pretty sure the bottle violates the Geneva Convention
