Hunter Men

Opens slightly sweet and citrusy fresh, then quickly dries down to a woody, floral. At the far dry down, it's akin to a clean musk, similar to fabric softener (but not in a bad way). Hunter is a great example of a floral masculine fragrance that works. Yes it can be unisex, but I also do not know any other fragrance that has a masculine appeal with the note of tuberose (which I love), so I’m very excited with this one. Another thing that excites me is that this is a refreshing freshie (see what I did there?) that does not smell like your contemporary citrus and blue fragrances for men. And on the plus side, the ladies love this! Ok, so about what this is duping. Most everything I mentioned about Armaf Hunter can be said about Lacoste Blanc EDT. To me, Hunter is a more-than-perfect dupe, because not only does it smell exactly the same on skin, but also projects better and lasts way longer than the OG Lacoste. For me, this a rare case where the dupe is better than the OG. However, that does not seem to be the case with roughly half the reviews I stumbled upon when I was deciding to get this fragrance. A good number of people here (and on YouTube) complained about Hunter being too synthetic and unappealing to them. I can’t speak to that, other than maybe Armaf’s batches are not consistent and I just got lucky. Regardless, in my experience, it was an absolute win! I ran out of my Lacoste Blanc EDT a while back, and for some months I forgot about it, but then spring rolled around, and I started to miss it as that was my signature scent in the past spring and I had lots of fond memories, so I decided to buy it again. However, after doing some digging, I discovered Hunter and figured “for 25 bucks, why not?” And man am I glad I got it! So if you are worried about Hunter smelling cheap, synthetic, or not worth it, my guess would be you probably would not like Lacoste Blanc EDT either. But if you do like the OG, this will certainly be worth your while! The caveat is that Hunter is stronger and you just need to give it a little time to settle after you’ve sprayed it on skin. But that’s just the first 5 minutes, then after, it’s hours and hours of bliss!

If you are reading this, it probably means that you like Lacoste Blanc but are not willing to pay the rising price for it. Do yourself a favor. Just buy Armaf Hunter EDP Hunter EDP is effectively identical to Lacoste Blanc. Hunter performs better. It costs less than half of Lacoste Blanc. It's a no-brainer if you like Lacoste Blanc, Now, if you are here to know what it smells like, here's my try: Notes I notice: grapefruit, white florals, some light woods, some manner of light suede, a dusting of cardamom. The feeling the fragrance conveys: You have awoken to a sparkling, beautiful morning in early summer. You have showered and put on a crisp, white button-up shirt with slacks. You slice yourself a grapefruit and sprinkle it with sugar. You put on some new leather shoes and step out to your flower garden to eat your light breakfast and breathe the garden air. As you sit in the morning sun, a gentle breeze wafts a light resinous aroma from the nearby woods. There. That exact moment. Sunshine on cotton with sweet grapefruit on the table and flowers in the air. That is Armaf Hunter. Hunter is a really lovely fragrance that, to me, screams late spring and early summer. The only drawback is that it is not terribly masculine. But, then again, if your reference point is something full of vanilla and sweetness like some modern men's fragrances, you could make the case that this is a good deal more masculine than those. I suppose I would say that Hunter has more to do with brunch at the country club than cigars in the cabin.

I first smelled this at a fragrance shop at the mall, where they were sold out of this fragrance and claimed to repeatedly sell out of this scent. For $55 plus $5 tax, if that gives you any idea how much the general population loves the smell of this scent. And yes, it does smell like Lacoste White, but this is much more intense with better texture in the base notes. I sprayed this on my hand and just kept coming back to it over and over. The scent survived 6 hours and multiple hand washings. I decided to finally pull the trigger on this one and bought a used bottle. I would've bought it at the mall myself, except I knew I could find it cheaper. This is a steal of a fresh scent for $20 and a much more interesting option than Lacoste White. The opening is a bit abrasive sometimes and a little too "in your face" if you spray it more than 3 or 4 times. The drydown kind of reminds me of Invictus Aqua, due to the texture, but it's less sweet. Some others complain about the drydown, but it's actually my favorite part! My suggestion: spray light (2 sprays) and bring an atomizer to refresh, layering the next application over the drydown of the first. That's not to say that you "need" an atomizer, because you don't. This stuff has NUCLEAR performance for being a fresh scent. Overall, definitely worth a try, especially if fresh scents are your thing or if you're looking for an improved Lacoste White.

Some of the smells from Armaf stands out on it's own i don't mean fragrance wise or not being a clone but some of the fragrance have such a nice blend and smell expensive, this one is a nice woody, aromatic, slightly fruity and good floral notes, a very little spice is also there after so long i have found something that gives me a nice light and fresh feeling otherwise a lot of fresh fragrances that are being made these days are heavily fruity which i don't like, i spent 55$ on Rasasi Hawas even though Hunter is nothing unique it still is such a great fragrance which lasts long on me and is better than hawas i wish i had never bought hawas and bought this earlier, I'm not comparing the 2 being same on terms of notes but just in the terms of being fresh fragrances, hawas i got doesn't last longer than 3 hours but this one here it has been 8 hours now and still i get whiff of it every now n then from my hands, sprayed under the tee also so that part is still strong after 8 hours, although these are the first few sprays just out of the box so let's see how it evolves but definitely worth it for the price this is one of those great among lots of cheap fragrances.

This is a very fresh, clean fragrance. I really enjoy the scent of this. Opens up with fresh citruses and sweet cedar which stays throughout the life of the fragrance and kind of develops into a really fresh and modern log cabin smell in a way. It's just really clean and soapy and fresh. One of my favorite scents to wear in the spring and fall. Performance is decent. 6 or 7 hours longevity with okay projection. Projects good for the first few hours but then becomes closer to skin. It's not fantastic. I do wish it performed better. But it's still one of the best fresh and clean fragrances I have found. I just thoroughly enjoy it's scent and versatility although it's best as a casual or work scent or something to spray on a sunny spring day.

My #1 Armaf scent thus far. The grapefruit and rosemary combine to make a scent that is both sweet and also sour and sharp all at once. Initially it is a bit like USA Smarties candy, and the cardamom also gives it a definite similarity to YSL LNDH - there's a light fizziness almost like Sprite soda that is shared between the two. This then dries down to a very attractive skin scent, not too different from the sillage but definitely warmer and with more cedar noticeable. I enjoy this at all stages and will almost certainly buy a full bottle once this decant runs out.

Simply a very clean, fresh citrus and slightly soapy fragrance with almost an aquatic feel at times. The pine smell isn't too noticeable to me or minty. I think it only gives it a fresh clean vibe. Its very well done and seems to also have good performance. This is nothing unique or artistic but just a very casual and nice/fresh smelling fragrance. Some might find it a little boring. Scent 3.5/5 for me. Performance seems pretty solid for a freshie.

if you like Lacoste Blanc L1212 this is a must buy. This is not identical but very similar and lasts. It is sweeter, it almost reminds me of a cross between L1212 and H24. This is a sweeter version of L1212, I would consider Hunter a "Yellow" scent. it reminds me of a pale yellow color. I dont believe it will be anyones favorite scent but it does what it is supposed to and does it well. This scent makes me feel clean when I wear it

A slightly synthetic but extremely enjoyable bright spring/summer bouquet with nuclear performance. Although by no means a clone of Chanel's Allure Homme Sport (and most people seem to compare this to Lacoste Blanc) this does interpret the same mood as AHC at a very affordable price. If you enjoy designer masculine florals with a liberal dose of ambroxan (not listed, but apparent to my nose) don't sleep on this one.

tried it today....forgot to ask the price, but man, what a lovely scent, it lasts long time,smells very clean and pleasant, people who love bleu de chanel or sauvage or even any of the white bottles from hugo, mont blanc or ferrari, you will love this, citrus, sweet and white clean feel, hangs on for a very long time, bottle looks ugly lol...but good fragrance.,...digging armaf house a lot :) good one 8/10 for me

This is probably my happiest experience with an under $20 scent. It well outperforms it's price point. I found the harsh opening described in other reviews to fade quickly. Also, I didn't really find this be a one dimensional scent as others has described, rather I found smooth transitions from opening into middle into base notes. My favorite being that pleasant and long-lasting vetiver finish.

I got my bottle yesterday and it is really similar to lacoste white L.12 very good scent and projection and silage also very good. As other Fragrances I have purchased from Armaf this one also a good quality Fragrance and considered a good deal compared to its price and if you tried White Lacoste and you like it then definitely you are going to like this one too.

There is a leatheriness to this that Lacoste doesn’t have, am I the only one that picks it up? The over-all roundness of it does have that 12.12 body and dry down but Lacoste seems to keep that watery/slightly minty accord through the dry-down, Hunter goes down into the woodier region. This is an excellent buy for fans of 12.12 but not an EXACT replica of it.

I believe the other reviews say all that can be said about this fragrance. I have to say this is shortest amount of time I’m about to finish fragrance because it’s so wearable as a aromatic in the summer. I’m going to try to the original L.12.12 just to see the comparison as that supposedly is more woody but doesn’t have as much longevity as hunter

I don't expect too much on this one, initially. But it turns out great. Some commented it smells like dead animals - i don't know what you're on cause it absolutely doesn't! I think you have other agenda - your hate on middle eastern perfumes. Anyways, this perfume lasted more less about 6 hours on me - probably more intimate scent after.

For some reasons, upon spray I can smell similarity with ADG Profumo. Then dry down comes the Armaf Tres Nuit. Best used during cold season - if brightens my day and makes me feel good. I would spray it under the collar or clothes to give it a lasting scent. Projection is quite good, too. I love it.

Smells really close to Lacoste L12 White Blanc. However, this has a much deeper and richer scent compared to its Lacoste counterpart. Amazing for the price. I did notice a floral note on this one which was not mentioned here. Keeping it my shelves for the Spring Rotation.

Hello, Armaf Hunter is almost similar to Lacoste Blanc 1212, rather I would say its pocket friendly and bit long lasting than L1212 For Indian subcontinental weather this goes perfect!! Good for perfume beginners and blind buyers. Go ahead and enjoy Armaf Hunter.

One of best summer fresh perfumes ever created. I like it a lot. Very fresh clean woody floral crowd pleasure. Nobody can hate this. Great value for money. Very close to lacoste white l.12. Every guy should own this one believe me.

Smells exactly like Lacoste L12.12. White, but with way better longevity. I get about 8 hours of longevity with great projection. I'm glad I listened to the reviews and picked this one up. Highly recommended!

Armaf Hunter is a perfectly spot on clone of Lacoste Blanc. Only it has way better projection, and double the longevity of Blanc. If you’re looking for an alternative to Blanc, Hunter is a no brainer.

Ordered edt. Got edp👍👌 At the beginning it smells synthetic,however after 5-10 minutes the good smells come up. It smells exactly like Lacoste Blanc L.12.12 Stays all day. Recommend it .

I think Hunter is better than Lacoste L.12.12. It smells nicer, lasts longer and much cheaper. Lacoste L.12.12 smells synthetic anyway. So, I say go for Hunter instead.

Btw Hunter intense seems like a good substitute for invictas aqua.. Not saying they are identical but they seem to do a very similar thing.

I love this stuff. One of the best spring summer scents from the middle east. Ylang ylang strong. Smooth, relaxing and pleasant.

Very good performance and bang for the buck! No brainer freshie on a hot summers day. Got it at $12 which is an absolute steal.

Went with this one cuz Lacoste L12.12 seemed a lil bit too pricy for me. Can't say much other than i just love it tbh.

When I was new to fragrance, I bought this, my second big boy scent (bought this at 19 or 20). Initially I thought it was okay, but something was just off.. I shelved it. 6 months to a year later I picked it up, fell in love. Smell got significantly better. This doesn't smell highly synthetic, same quality as most mid end designer brands. The notes are pretty spot on as well, smells floral which is unique - however this somehow pulls it off. This is very much a freshy, not going to get you insane compliments - however people will notice you smell nice. This is going for $20, I have much more expensive fragrances and still daily this for the office: It's inoffensive, fresh and clean, and will give off the vibe of a well put together young professional. Great for all situations - casual dates, work, gym, walks. Best weather would be high heat.

Smells just as good as Lacoste White but with three times the longevity and amazing sillage. I’m not sure why there isn’t more hype for this one. Sure, it’s a clone, but it’s very well done and I would even say better executed than Lacoste white. The presentation is weird. I’m not really sure what they were thinking when they designed this, but I will say that the bottle itself feels really good in your hand. I was a little worried about the atomizer, because my bottle of Hunter Intense constantly leaks and doesn’t spray well, but this one seems to be functioning splendidly as of yet. Despite some stinkers here-and-there, I am often pleasantly surprised by Armaf and this is no exception

I bought this cologne smelling it on a smelling paper and liked it but when I applied it on my skin it smelt a lot better. I got this cologne because I was looking for something casual and cheap and for its price its really amazing, super affordable most people can afford it and I do see some people selling for less online so you can get it for even cheaper. The wood smell isn't as big as I thought it was gonna be but it was still every noticeable, It's a very manly smell that's for sure. I would recommend this to anyone with a low budget for colognes. I bought this in hopes that it would be a better-performing substitute to Lacoste White. And it is, for the most part. Hunter is quite strong upon first application, and to me, what separates this from Lacoste White is a more intensive cedar note. The grapefruit is still way up there as well, though, and it's a pretty invigorating fragrance overall. It projects strongly for about an hour/hour and a half and then settles down. I get about 6-7 hours of longevity. Definitely a safe blind buy if you like fresh woody scents.

It's got a good citrus opening and then it dries down to a woody aquatic. Nothing that's going to blow you away just a good office safe scent. Only wore it twice and the performance doesn't seem to be that strong. Also missing some of the notes. I'm going to put this away for a few months maybe it will be better after sitting for a while. I got mine for $28 with shipping on E-Bay. Update: After wearing this last night and today the scent is starting to appeal to me. Bumped up to a like from OK. Good stuff.

This is a great beginner fragrance. It’s fresh and in no way overpowering. The scent profile is gentle and pleasing. For me the citrus, cedar, and ylang-ylang are the stars of this frag, with sandalwood lingering around the corner. It’s not strong, and the silage is weak. You will not be offending anyone while wearing this. This is a great frag for the office, lunch style date, or just an easy day of running errands. This is a “no-brainer” style of DNA, that everyone can enjoy.

Well I just read some negative reviews and I'm exactly in the opposite field. For me it's a pleasant summer fragrance (I haven't wear it in extreme high heat over 35°C). I get a light rosemary cardamom ylang combo. I would suggest it for workplace or in a climate environment better. For 20€ it's an ok scent. PS. In the beginning I also smell an sweet red apple note that I don't see in the notes listed.

It’s hard to believe this is so inexpensive and people haven’t added it onto the hype train yet. It’s an amazing woody floral. I would go as far as to say that this is the next best masculine floral next to Amouage Reflection Man. Yes it’s Lacoste L.12 but not everyone has smelt that! For the price point, you really can’t go wrong. Very versatile and office friendly.

This Armaf Hunter is a real winner! It's got this fresh, outdoorsy vibe with the grapefruit and rosemary that's perfect for daytime. But it also has this warm, woody base that makes it work for evening too. Love the tuberose note, adds a little something unexpected.

This stuff is awesome. I got it at a boutique after smelling it; kinda got ripped off with the price, but it was still worth it imo. Smells very modern to me, like, I don't think anyone's grandpa would find it appealing, more of a young man's cologne.

now this cologne i like and will wear and yes it's for the younger crowd but i love the cedar.56 yrs old gives me the license to wear cedar i think.kinda miffed that the sample i got was way better and stronger than the actual cologne.

It smells very fresh and gets over 8 plus hours and any fresh scent can be worn all year around if it performs,i give it a 8 out of 10 cause the intense version is better in my opinion but still a great frag tho.

- the VERY woody drydown is a bit too strong for my tastes: its like hard sniffing tree bark - the grapefruit opening is absolutely beautiful - performance is good

Good opening and throughout the first hour. Then the drydown is meh. I d say give it a try if you want smthg similar to the Lacoste but wouldn't recommend it.

Ceder note is almost too bitter for me in the beginning, but after awhile it settles down into a nice floral woodsy medley.

Nice crowd pleaser but floral notes is really prominent. over all good fragrane for summer heat. 20$ is great value.

Although after some time of use I no longer feel the perfume, I get many compliments when I wear it.

Smells really good and clean!!

Lacoste white dupe but instead of leathery and musky this is bubblegummy. It opens with some bittersweet wood notes, reminds me of tree sap. The drydown is a bit resinous and floral🌼. This is an average performer on me (~4-5hrs) I'm currently using it for exercising outside since there's something very synthetic in it that can get cloying indoors and makes my stomach feel like, empty? 🫠 In comparison: this is about 30% cheaper, it's sweeter, more floral and more synthetic. Lacoste has a leathery musky drydown (sexy 😜) and feels cleaner. Edit: My bottle is much less synthetic now after some months and the tuberose is way too strong, like, all I can smell is tuberose with a bit of grapefruit and woody musk. And I don't like tuberose 😫

In theory I like the combination of the opening notes, although slightly synthetic they are quite fresh after 5 minutes or so. Ylang Ylang gives a somewhat moderating banana note in the middle, and I can see why tuberose is so divisive (and off-putting) for some. The dry down is sour woody, herbal and animalic/balsamic. Moderate performance. Least favourite in my current collection, but a good “blue collar” scent for outdoors on a hot day. Suggested deodorant match : Lynx Australia or Bergamot & Pink Pepper.

Not much of base notes - they are almost killed by grapefruit and tuberose. Overall flower note is dominating thus making it more ladies cup of tea. A bit dissapointing.
