Italiano Nero

On the first spray, I thought: "WOW. This is EXACTLY Paco Rabanne Black XS!" Much closer in fact, than CDNIM is to Aventus. As it dries down, it becomes a little more fruity than Black XS, but they're very close! Comparing them side-by-side, Black XS has a noticeably stronger sage note, along with vetiver and noticeable ambergris. Italiano Nero, however, has a nice ambroxan note taking the place of the ambergris. Surprisingly, Italiano Nero smells like it has much higher quality ingredients than Black XS. The fruity notes are actually brighter and longer lasting than Black XS. I've worn this a half a dozen times now, and it lasts perfectly well for me, 6 hours noticeably on skin, and 8-10 hours under the neck of my shirt. Projection is slightly above moderate, which is MUCH stronger than my bottle of Black XS. Needless to say, Italiano Uomo Nero wins this battle, defeating Black XS, for me. Also, the sprayer on this one is AWESOME! It's almost like a Chanel sprayer. Seriously, no joke! Unlike CDNIM and others, the sprayer on this bottle disperses a good amount of juice in a perfectly uniform fashion. The bottle is awesome too. Some Armaf fragrances have notoriously cheap bottles, and while yes, it is still made of cheap materials (it's a $20 fragrance, after all) but the bottle is really quite nice! I really like the leather wrap on this bottle. It's VERY nice for the price! Update: Over a dozen wearings now, and I must say, this is quite possibly my favorite from Armaf, even better than CDNIM, for me. Update 2: After finally tracking down a bottle of Black XS L'Exces, i can confirm, this is SPOT ON to L'Exces! If you're sad about the discontinuation of L'Exces, buy this! You won't be disappointed!

All I have to say is WOW! This perfume is absolutely amazing! I was looking for an alternative to the sadly discontinued Black XS l’exces,which is one of my all time favourites, and read that this is an exact clone of it. I was a bit skeptical,but turns out that the internet was absolutely right on this one! This smells exactly like L’exces. I still have a few drops left of an old l’exces bottle, and when compared side by side, they are exactly the same! Sweet pineapple sexy goodness! I just wore it for the first time less than an hour ago, so still can’t comment on performance and longevity, but I sure hope those who said it’s long lasting are right on this one.

I’ve applied it twice today, not because it was weak but because I just want to bathe in this. Absolutely floored with how juicy and fresh this is, it’s on another level. I get pineapple big time, as well as a ripe strawberry in this. The pineapple note seems to stay the length of the development but it fades just enough to let the other notes come forward. If there is patchouli in the base it is very light and soapy. I don’t get amber but the cypress is there. There are no right angles to be found, it’s smooth as can be and absolutely worth three times what I paid for it. I’ve also layered it with L’Aventure and it was divine. 7/10

Worn a few times and found this to be a pleasant, low-profile gem. For me, it opens sweet (pine-appleish) and after a few minutes dries down to an amazingly warm, sweet amber. I don't pick up other notes listed but that's OK. For me, silage is good and when I'm in motion, scent seems to jump out. The first night I wore it, I overheard a group of gals I passed by say "That guy smells like a man". I can smell the fragrance next day on my shirt, it sticks well (I heard it is a parfum and oils are used so it will be a good performer). It's different from the freshies, clean smells, and spice-bombs. I recommend giving this one a chance.

A juicy, rich pineapple opening makes way for a dry down that’s actually very nice. There is roughly 30% resemblance in the dry down to Aventus, to my nose when I smell my arm. That’s going to be a good thing for most people. I don’t have much to say about this though. I’ve been wearing it every few days since I picked it up and I’ve enjoyed it each time. If the ever-present advisory warning about maceration periods does anything to this fragrance, it will quickly become one of my favorites for warmer weather. 100% safe blind buy, in my humble opinion.

I'm usually not one for layering, but... try layering this with Tuscan Leather or one of its clones (Nabeel Macho Man, Arab Tradition, or La Yuqawam). The end result is ADDICTIVE! Fruity, spicy and leathery, the combination reminds me of Montale Aoud Leather, but it goes a different direction with different fruity notes and an Aventus-esque pineapple vibe. Some enthusiasts say Tusc-Aventus is the most epic layering combination, but I never cared for the combo, but THIS, layered with Tuscan Leather, is AMAZING! Try it!!!

Smelled this today and holy crap how is their not a pineapple not in this. This smells like a juicy pineapple from start to finish. I’m defiantly buying a bottle of this for summer! 10/10 The house of armaf is seriously slept on when it comes to the compliments factor and also their prices are unbeatable. Find me a cologne worth $21 that could get you more compliments.... matter of fact find me a $60 bottle that would get more compliments. Love this stuff super safe blind buy if you are into sweet/fruity scents

This stuff smells nice and as expected... ...BUT the bottle is complete garbage. It was disintegrating out of the box, the pleather wrap peeling off the glass and flaking black pleather bits everywhere. The cap is also terrible, cheap melted plastic and wobbles loosely on top of the atomizer - which, you guessed it...also crap. Takes 3 pumps to get it spray every time and very inconsistent sprays. Look at the reviews of this on amazon to see for yourself.

Update-- Italiano Nero is based on PacoRabanne Black XS. The Black XS reformulation is AWFUL! Now the Armaf is the best version of this I like how bergamot, lemon, and ambroxan combine to give the impressions of strawberry This is a good reminder of Black XS, (the original great version,edit). This is a great scent for the price. The new Black XS is a travesty.

I really enjoy this pineapple juice fragrance haha I really do I just bought it five days ago and the sweet marvelous smell is fantastic but unfortunately I have to spray quadruple of times a day for me to smell it on myself. Btw I have no idea why this smells just like pineapple and there is no pineapple hmmm LoL

This one smell just like pinnaple that you just bit on. I don't like Armaf clones but this one smell amazing recommend to buy. Mix this Itiliona Uomo with Inserection Pure II. And you got Aventus creed on top not of pinaple. Anyway it's strong and get complement well it's good to buy not more than $40 thou.

This fragrance has similarities to black xs but honestly it's better and should be classified as it's own,i got 8 plus hours out of it and it definitely has a smooth pineapple smell to it,i have to give this fragrance a 8.5 out of 10 cause it's smooth and women love it.......peace

though it has average performance on my skin, the scent is amazing. one of the best armaf frags I've tried. i don't get that black x similarity people are talking about. but this one is fantastic fragrance on its own. love it and wear it more in fall nights

Great fun fragrance from Armaf. Very long opening dominated by note of rotten pineapple that changes later to scent of sweet wild strawberries and woods. Even in cold weather stays on skin for about 10 hours. Surprisingly nice opening for Armaf fragrances.

I haven't worn it yet, but have sprayed it several times in the air. I'm letting it grow, like you should with all clones or cheapies. It is getting strong the more it has sat.

A very nice sweet 'pineapple' type frag similar to black xs that women seem to really LOVE,long lasting and great value everyones a winner.

Smells sweet pineapple note. Perform for 5 hours. If cheap under $30 can can buy. It’s good to mix with Aventus creed. 4/5.

Juicy pineapple fragrance. Good performance too

I've had this for over a year at least, maybe 2. I'm losing track of fragrance purchases during covid. I've hardly used it but I like it alot. It's just more playful than a lot of the settings I find myself in. Very fruity and sweet with a soft woods dry down. I'm entering my late thirties and this isn't as immature as my Paco Rabanne Black Excess L'exces. It's not as loud nor as sweet. Thank goodness. I've only worn that scent 5x because it's nuclear and headache inducing. This is a little more woody and doesn't hit the pineapple note as well. It's a bit more mature. I bought this for really cheap and my wife loves it on me just like L'Exces. I did try the new bottle of Black XS and found it toned down and a little gourmand whereas this projects even 2 hours later. I know Lattafa are offering a few frags with the same profile such as Qaed Al Fursan and Rave Black which I haven't purchased since I have this and don't use these scents nearly enough. Those bottles look great though, anyone have Nero and try the Lattafas as well? Nero is awesome, smooth, fruity and youthful with great projection and lasting power.

I used these for my daily banger. Whenever I go somewhere unimportant and don’t know what to wear but still want to smelled good. The smell really reminds me to my black xs (which I willingly sold to my friend since he really loves it) minus the creamy strawberry accord and replaced it with these playful, youthful, sweet inducing pineapple syrup. Scent wise, I can’t find someone who doesn’t like these:) It’s The juice smelled more synthetic and harsher for sure, but I’m fine with that. Never smelled l’excess so I can’t compared them. I put these in my car dashboard. Yep, not a great place to stored a fragrance but this is so dirt cheap and I believe it would run empty faster than being turned bad. Yes, the bottle is just awful. Such a great daily cheapies!

A one word description of this fragrance would have to be, pleasant. Italiano Nero from the initial spray to it's linear drydown evokes happiness. The pineapple sweetness is so refreshing. My issue is the same issue that Black XS had and that is longevity. Scent: 8.3 out of 10 Longevity: 4.9 out of 10 Addendum: This needs to be layered! As a stand alone, all this fragrance has is a good opening that quickly dies to a skin scent if that. Layer it with CDNIM, and OH BOY! A sweet, smoky bubble of manly bossness surrounds and accompanies you for hours!

Surely the most pineapple thing ever to not have pineapple as a listed note. On the rare occasion I want to smell like that I wear this. It is super sweet and too youth for me, but sometimes I feel like screw it, on a cold winter day when it brings sunshine and makes me think of North Queensland or Hawaii or something, then I am grateful for it. Especially as the bottle says 'Batman' and the contents say 'Spongebob'. Also can be used to Calm TFD the Club DNIM by adding enough sweet into the mix to alter that smoky hellscape.

Smells like straight pineapple, maybe some woody/vanilla in the dry down. It’s ok in its own but I think it works better for layering to add sweet pineapple to something else. Performance is average. Personally I like Rave Now better, it lasts longer and smells noticeably better to me.

Pineapple smacks you right in the face, despite pineapple not being listed. Decent scent, great price for 100ml. Armaf being Armaf. I actually ended up mixing this with CDNIM EDT, at about a 1:10 ratio in a 10ml travel atomizer. Mixes really well, give it a try if you have both.

Nice edt this, instantly reminded me of Dior sauvage but tested black xcess in the store and it is almost identical. Also smells like the fresh batches of creed with a nice depth but not beast performance. £18 in UK with free shipping just get it!

Super safe blind buy. This is a solid scent. Nothing crazy, nothing new. It has depth, and will decently perform. If you want something new as a blind buy, not a bad choice. Better then toy boy imo, but I'm not comparing them!

Fresh, fruity, light, and mass appealing. The amber citrus combination is very smooth

Nice fruity summer scent!! I think this fragrance an easy unisex scent!! The opening is citrusy and I would say masculine, but it turns to a fruity burst after a while!! Pineapple is the prominent note that I get, comparing it to Trussardi black extreme, I would say the last is more masculine and a bit more formal and serious, while this I consider a very joyful fun spring-summer scent!! For the price 8/10.

This fragrance is terrible. It’s cheap garbage. The notes are not well blended they clash with each other. They do not compliment each other. It’s a very off putting smell o personally hated it and actually sent it back. It’s nothing and I mean nothing like black xs! I love black xs!! This is so so so far off base it’s not even funny! I bought this because I love my black xs. And was hoping it would be similar but different enough to have two frags I love and be similar! Nope! This is probly one of the worst smelling frags I have ever bought. And I honestly shake my head at a lot of the reviews! Are they even reviewing the right frag!?!? There is no pineapple note! At all! Nor does it smell like pineapple at all!! Any praise this frag gets is compleat hogwash!

At first was a good smell, a sweet fresh one who opened with some chemical smell but it would dissappear after some minutes and leave behind a good bergamot/lemonish smell that would start to get sweeter and sweeter. This was it for the first 2 months then suddenly started to feel more and more chemical to the point i cant wear it anymore bcs its just an awful smell and very alcoholic which i cant stand. Literally makes me sneeze and have tears on my eyes when i try to spray it so im kinda done with this fragrance. A dissapointment bcs it seems to have a good potential given from the notes. Ill let it rest for some months wishing it will change.

I don’t usually like really sweet scents like this one, but this is something else. Projection is beastly and longevity is decent. About the bottle, though. It looks great, but the truth is it’s complete shite. The cap feels like it’s gonna break every time I try to pull it off. The atomizer stinks, too. It’s a shame, cuz the design is pretty good. But the scent makes up for it. My wife loves how it smells and always stops me in the hallway to smell me. UPDATE: Sadly, I’ve become quite sick of this one. It gets very cloying, at least for me. Too sweet and syrupy.

Just bought it after reading reviews. Bad choice from me I can say. Too sweet. Could not find any citrus & fresh spicy nodes.

After some good reviews on youtube and on Amazon, I decided to blind buy it. I ordered Italiano Nero EDP because I want better performance. But I got everything but performance, the opening lasted for 15 min then it settled down and after an hour there was nothing left of it. There is no natural aroma as some claim it should have, it smells pure chemistry and synthetic. I deeply regret the purchase. Pure waste of money and I want to warn others not to make the same mistake as me! Ps don't be fooled it has nothing to do with Paco rabanne Black xs. Paco Xs is creamy good and natural, but this is anything but natural Performance 0/10 Fragrance 0/10

#358 in my "Tour de Fragrance" It's Black XS that fades away in an hour or less. Nice enough. Just no staying power and thus a waste of money. It's like Armaf's "All You Need is Love." Cologne in strength. A nice scent that leaves before the party get's started.

At first, I wasn’t feeling it. I’m a huge fan of fragrances that are beast and will make me feel confident knowing ladies will see me as a dessert in their eyes. I have so many ranging from the allure collection, Dior, Versace, YSL and many more compliment monsters. I’m open for the original and not mass appealing fragrances, but let’s be real, we all wear colognes for the compliment factor. A cologne is not a hit unless we catch the ladies’ reactions. You telling me you get a cologne to please you and not care about the ladies reaction is the equivalent to saying you take her out to a fancy dinner, woo her, walk her to her door and shook her hand good bye. Be honest. Anywho, my point here is, this cologne will def. get you noticed! It is not unique nor something you’d match with a glass of the best wine, but it will get you compliments. I’ve gotten so many that I put my allures and Diors to the side and made this my daily. Try it and see the ladies reaction. It’s sensual and a delicacy. It won’t make you seem as a rough army ranger type of guy, but it’ll make you into a Bruce Wayne type of elegant and seductive male. I recommend so much I ordered another one to make sure I can spray away. Lasts 8+ hours longevity. silage and projection is strong with this one. Even sky walker would know it.

What a nice surprise -- it very distantly reminds me of Black XS, but Italiano Nero's composition is very different. The citrus, amber and patchouli together give off a creamy and sweet pineapple-lemon sherbet smell. It does not have any of the smokiness of Black XS and the sweetness is toned down, which helps Italiano Nero become easier to wear. This is a great fragrance to start with from the arabic houses if you want something more designer-esque and not spicy at all. I don't find it similar to 'Qaed Al Fursan' or 'Rave Now'- this one is a lot less oriental and not as dry -- instead having a creamier but still tart italian pineapple gelato type vibe. The creamy lemon and pineapple combo is right up my alley. Sweet, smooth and addictive. It's a real shame that it doesn't perform at all. It's gone within two-three hours after application. If the P/L was better, this would be one of my favorite fresh scents.

This is just as others have stated...this is a woody pineapple scent. It does somehow have a slight strawberry scent but that is not listed in the notes. I think it's the cypress mixing with the pineapple that creates the strawberry note smell. The pineapple here smells like fresh fruit. It's great. In any case, this is not super sweet but on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 be ing the sweetest of runs about s 7. I really love the scent. It's something that you just want to keep smelling, which leads to the negative. This stuff simply does not project. The sillage is an average push for about 2hrs and then becomes a skin scent for maybe 5hrs. If this was amped up it would be a banger. This is a solid 6 overall but 10 for scent.

Ok this stuff is pretty good. I just bought a bottle, wore it to work for a test run...a lady that came in I smell good...like she could drink me 😂😂😂. Funny thing is I understand what she was saying...in the summer Everytime I get a whiff of this, I'm gonna wanna got to juice stop immediately. It literally smells like something you would get there on a hot summer day....all pineapples. It performs well too, I easily made it through my work day, and it was still on my shirt when I did laundry two days later...and how the hell did they make this smell like pinneaple without the note😂😂😂

For me this turned out to be a cross between Black XS and the L'Exces flanker. It's got the patchouli backbone of the flanker, but whatever blend of notes created the strawberry accord in Black XS. I was lucky enough to get L'Exces for a great price after it was discontinued and I have to say I prefer that over this, But I'm extremely impressed with both the quality and performance. It doesn't smell cheap and it certainly doesn't smell generic, I just have a bit of an aversion to patchouli. For 20-25 bucks, if you like strawberry and patchouli then this is no-brainer.

Lately I have started using armaf perfumes after randomly watching some of its videos on youtube and that most of its creation are clones of big perfume houses intrigued me. Till now I have tested around 4 perfumes and IMO Italiano Nero is surely a 99% clone of black xs. From the opening till end..it smells almost the same. Longevity and projection is upto the mark, considering it can be bought at just 1/3rd price of black xs in India. Will add reviews for others also and surely keep on adding armaf collection.

I ordered Shawq, shagaf, la fursan, italiano nero and og lexces. My guess is this is the best clone by far. Armaf is the clone king afterall. I was worried though as this is basically sold out in Europe, nowhere online. Only stray bottles on ebay. But it is listed on their site still. Therefore, I asked the marketing director and he confirmed to me this is NOT discontinued. Will update.

From the reviews I was expecting this to be a pineapple bomb. I don’t get that, but I do get the Paco Rabanne Black XS comparisons, albeit a less obnoxious version. I definitely get citruses up top, and the base is lavender/Patchouli and a small amount of amber. It’s an above average scent that I’m not upset about blind buying. Solid 8/10 for me.

Pine apple here is exactly Like a package of pine apple juice ... very juicy edible... (in aventus pineapple is not like juice ) at the opening very near to black xs but at the drydown I get more y edp by Yves Saint Laurent... performance is good 5-6 hours by average projection and Sillage

it's a sweet juicy pineapple burst in the opening, it last around 2-3 hours before tone down. very good projection & longevity. i don't know if it was just me, i got the vibe from 1 million lucky.. some sort of creamy pineapple vibe from 1 million lucky is in this Uomo Nero.

this is impression version of TRUSSARDI BLACK EXTREME. I like both very much and both can be easily for unisex. Nero has stronger very obvious pineapple smell with casual vibe whereas Trussardi has more subtle pineapple and more on the elegant side

For the price you pay it's a very good fragrance for everyday use. Sweet citrus powdery vibe. Anytime anywhere fragrance will be especially nice on cold wintery days. Ps Doesn't smell harsh or synthetic. Overall a real winner.
