Arwo’s review below mine absolutely nails it. I sprayed this on in a store and drove home sniffing it, trying to make up my mind about it and whether or not I liked it enough to buy it. ‘It smells more like some nostalgic experience or memory’ was my one overriding thought. Maybe it helps that I’m of a similar vintage myself but I totally get what Arwo is saying. I don’t know if I’d buy it to wear it out but there is something amazing about this fragrance and there’s something comforting about it too. I’m very much still trying to get my head around it. It's unusual - maybe it also could use a bit more time to resolve itself - and I don't think it deserves the hate it garners. Update: Thank you to (review above this one) VintageUglyTattooMommy. I just went into the same store to test this one again yesterday and the weird notes have continued to smooth out to the extent that it's now far better and a beautiful strawberry. Yeah, that odd nostalgia slant remains but this is good and I may have to get it. IF I do then the cheapest bottle I can find, like Fragnet, as I've sworn off Arabics (I've got a box of 8 Arabic fragrances that are complete duds, non-performers after sitting for many months) . Update: I just had to go buy it and now have it at my side, sniffing it every now and again. It performs well right from the start (batch: 465602 12/2024). Very weird but gorgeous and addicting.

It was love at first spray. It's a feminine scent leaning slightly unisex, and it's really special. It's much more versatile than Burberry Her Elixir, and I absolutely love it. This perfume strikes a great balance between floral and sweet notes. I fell in love with it because of the floral notes that dominate, especially the geranium combined with the strawberry. It's delicious, and I love that it's not cloying at all. It has a subtle musk and caramel touch that I adore. The caramel note reminds me a lot of Odyssey Mandarin Sky (a men's fragrance), and I think it's exquisite. The dry-down smells even better, and it lasts forever on my skin while projecting incredibly well. A colleague told me he could smell my fragrance every time I walked into the sales room and that it smelled really good, which surprised me. It's a scent you can wear all year round, although I'd probably skip it on very hot days.

SHe has become hands down one of my fav scents. I use her a lot for layering or for a bedtime scent. The creaminess blends so nicely with the sweetness, but not overpowering. Cpuld be a I nisex but def leans fem. Some people have mentioned a plasticy note, and it does have something to it, but i enjoy it. Im honestly baffled why people give her hate, shes just lovely.

birthday gift from ana’s mom!!! wasn’t super sure at first because it has that initial alcohol smell, but after a bit it turns into a mature sweet scent that i love and really needed!! the best part is the way it dries down to a musky and tasteful fruit smell, so good. bottle is so cute!!! yumm

I first got my hands on this scent during Beautyworld 2024, and seriously I felt that I was smelling bubblegum and candy floss. It was not really a sweet rush, but more like the sweetness creeps in slowly. For someone who is a die-hard sweet tooth, I simply couldn't resist from purchasing it.

Def not a creamy sweet sugary candee, to my nose it picks up a little woody candied powder, a little mature leaning. Its really lovely! Good for those who dont want the overly sweet cloying fragrances. This is pretty linear, good staying power on clothes but only 2-3hrs on my skin.

It smells so good. I want to bury my face in it. Great balance, I wear it around the house just to experience it. Reminds me of snowcones or icees, bubble gum and cotton candy. There is a very synthetic sweet note that gives me goosebumbs like I’m about to get a huge sugar rush.

Okay when I first smelt this one it reminded me of an initio scent and I couldn’t figure out which one then it finally came to me Psychedelic Love but, with fruity notes and patchouli it’s really good it’s an unique scent

I bought this one thinking it was going to be another juvenile smell, but I’m glad to say I was wrong. It is a fresh sweet smell. It dries down a little musky, but the strawberries makes it nicely.

Gentle mind .. sweet but well rounded ... best thing its not harsh... and the packaging is part of my pink collectables :)

I need to defend this fragrance 😅😂😭 Odyssey Candee isn’t just a fragrance, it’s a full sensory time capsule. On first spritz, it doesn’t evoke typical perfume descriptors like citrus or vanilla as much as it conjures spaces and memories: dimly lit department stores of the ’80s and ’90s, long before the internet became ubiquitous. Places where carpets, not tiles, lined the floors... where the scent of newness, of fresh toys in crisp packaging, newly printed clothing tags, and plastic-wrapped wonders hung in the air like an invisible marquee. For many today, that smell is unfamiliar. Younger generations simply haven’t walked through those aisles. But for someone who has, Candee delivers that exact olfactory imprint. It’s not sugary per se, but it has a synthetic brightness that mimics plastic and fresh materials. There’s a warmth to it, but not the cozy warmth of spice or amber, it’s the warmth of fragrance meeting climate-controlled air, of fluorescent lights flickering overhead, and of possibility before digital saturation reshaped our sensory landscape. In a way, Odyssey Candee feels strangely cyberpunk, not the grimy dystopia of rain soaked alleys or neon drenched darkness. Instead, it’s the pre-internet optimism of a future we imagined through glossy catalogs and crisp store aisles: clean, new, electric, and shimmering with promise. It’s synthetic without feeling artificial, as if the molecules themselves are part memory, part steel, and part pure anticipation. This is not a perfume you wear because everyone else does. You wear it because it reminds you of a world that once felt like the future, a future that was bright, buzzing, and full of new things waiting to be discovered..... But somehow, that future is still yet to be waited for...

from New sample set. Iris? Mr Sketch? Urinal Cake? I like it? More powder, very Iris. Most of the early edges settle quickly. After the Homme White Edition yesterday (a blonde Virginia tobacco for at least a few hours) and Limoni (iicr 20mins-ish of a really great citrus over a light musk) and Femme White Edition (Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine and some other white florals) I'm starting to think of this sample set as a bit of a surprise/random mixer/layering/soliflore thing. Despite seeming a bit linear on their own and occasionally with misleading names/notes (looking at you Candee...) I can see myself having some fun with these.

Slightly off CdG Odeur 53 skincream x (some hypothetical Melanie Martinez burnt plastic doll thing) If there is candy here it's a very neon cyberpunk street "candee" I still don't expect it when I spray it, but my nose keeps going in (at least through the opening while I'm still confused. 20minutes in there are some parallels to the patchouli in Angel or A*Men that start to shed some light on what they might have been trying to do. Edit: Just saw my other recent review; maybe I can detect something Iris-y? This one seems to have settled quite a lot since arrival.

Interesting and unusual scent. Not necessarily giving me Burberry Her vibes though it is somewhat similar. Definitely very heavy on patchouli and strawberry but, just like in most middle eastern fragrances, I also sense some leather. A bit plastic-ish and synthetic leather yet keeping the girliness. Plus the bottle design is super cool, and satisfied with the lasting power. Definitely worth the price.

This is a really nice musky sweet fall scent. I was expecting it to be super sweet like Lattafa Candy or Brittany Spears Candied Fantasy but it's more musky than sweet. The initial spray is fruity, the dry down is amber, musk, and patchouli. Probably not for everyone, but if you're looking for an inexpensive sweet scent with no vanilla, give it a try.

i will nt be surprised if there is a few more candy products out in the market,... i like this one better than Yara Candy because it settled down well on my skin fingers crossed for longevity.. & I hope it stays in summer... too

Burberry her, stronger and modded with better and quality ingredients, the irony of a dupe brand doing the formulation better than the original, what a joke.

This fragrance might have been more appreciated if it had been named correctly. There is NOTHING candy smelling in it. It is not fruity, not caramely. It is a floral, and a heavy one no less. The jasmine is known to be a very sharp note, gives it this "air freshener" vibe that other comments mention below. And the patchouli is HEAVY and usually patchouli gives a bitter scent to a fragrance, which it also does here. So this is a heavily floral, bitter, sharp scent that someone thought it should be named "Candee". And what adds salt to the injury was reviews on youtube saying this smells like Burberry Her. If you're searching for a candy smelling fragrance this is NOT it.

I'm undecided on this one. The initial spray smelled just like that cherry almond hand soap that used to be everywhere in public restrooms. Dry down is sweet and "pink" but somehow not super juvenile. Synthetic strawberry forward. I can see the comparisons to Oakcha's "Praise the Perfume" and "Cry baby milk". It has a similar vibe to me on the top, but candee is muskier and a little more earthy. Still giving some restroom air freshener vibes, but it's growing on me. I had really hoped the patchouli would come through a bit more on this one. For the price, it's fine... but there are several others that I'd prefer in this range. Probably don't purchase this one again.

Candee is reminiscent of the way dolls smell....or playdough. So with that in mind, it can be a very nice nostalgic scent. This is in no way similar to Yara Candy. I cannot pick up any specific notes. It's not bad, but if you are looking for a scent that actually smells like candy I think this might be a disappointment. If you are looking for a scent that is unusual and maybe even a little challenging in a nice way, this might be your cup of tea. Again, it's not bad at all per se...just different. This could pass for a Costume National or possibly a Comme de Garcons avant garde fragrance...so the quality is not bad. Just know, this is not a candy fragrance.

It's ok. 😕🤏🍓🤏🌺🥥 I should've bought the smaller bottle because I'll never be able to use all of this one. The sweetness comes off very synthetic like the scent they inject into baby dolls and little girls' toys.🧸 Thankfully it's a light scent that isn't in your face with obtrusive odor. Reminds me of Her Secret Temptation by Antonio Banderas. There is a pleasant powdery undertone with a delicate floral note but it's buried by synthetic sweetness. Darn. 😐 Edit: Still too synthetic after being used a half dozen times and aging for over month. 🥱 Maybe it needs more time still. 3.5/10 Salt water taffies smell better.

Okay, so it hasn’t maturated yet but it smells like a strawberry flavored children’s chewable vitamin. I have to let it settle and test it on the skin. It does smell layer-able but for now, all I get is chewable vitamin. Sweet and chalky! I’ll have to update this post once it maturates but for now, I’m thinking to sell it or gift it to my daughter!

Just tried Odyssey Candee, and I’m obsessed! Such a perfect balance of freshness and indulgence!

Ese olor como alcanforado cuando lo esprayas es bastante desagradable, como a hora y media o 2 horas desaparece quedando una dulce y fresca aroma afrutada con caramelo y flores. Amo el final pero las primeras 2 horas me parecen desagradables. Lo he dejado macerando por varias semanas a ver si se le va el olor alcanforado y nada. No lo volvería a comprar.

Tested this today. To me it smells like some fruit candy combined with burnt tires, but more burnt tires than anything else. I thought I should give it some time, but the smell of burnt tires just doesn't go away. After thirty minutes or so I had to scrub it off because was making me gag.

I bought it because the bottle is so cute and I like the listed notes but... I'm sorry it just smells like the air freshener in taxi cabs 😭 I really want to like it but smelling it gives me flashbacks of when cab drivers overcharge me and not use the meter in the philippines 🤧

Probably one of the worst perfumes I have ever come across. I keep on giving it second chances in case I was being too judgmental only to then regret even spraying it because every time I get the slightest whiff of the fragrance I physically recoil. It smells like if you were to mix the most acidic substance ever with candy floss.

One of the things I hate is car air fresheners and it definitely smells like that. If you've ever encountered California Scents "Coronado Cherry" this perfume smells EXACTLY like that. I don't want to wear this because I don't want to remind myself of being car sick with this smell lingering in the air.

Oh my god. Some of these reviews are so on point. This is an extremely artificial scent. Probably the worst in my whole large collection. Smells EXACTLY like a car air freshener. Like EXACTLY. Ugh I’m sad I wasted money on this. The aerosol version of this is better.

smells like remains of burnt plastic on a hot day, possibly from the caramel. a subtle sweetness is there. mostly strong patchouli.

Ok, OMG... Yes, there is something magical about this one and people are not understanding or giving it a fair chance! So hear us out. Read @Arwo & @Pippamorningstar's reviews. Also, this technically could by UNI scent, but it does for sure lean sweet. I came here to find out why this smelled so odd; nothing like its profile or listed notes. Why it was slightly 'off' and strange. I was VERY confused about this one and honestly, influencers lied to all you youngins and made you think this was something it's not. I bought it off a recommendation from someone who obviously NEVER smelled this either, but now I am glad I kept it and didn't return it thinking it was a 'bad batch' Being an 80's kid... Arwo's explanation and description of this scent could not be any more spot on! This is exactly what this smells like. It's NOT an every day wear scent. It's not a typical 'signature' scent. It's a time-capsule scent. I now LOVE it for this reason. Will I wear it... for sure. I keep spraying to see and the scent keeps evolving. You have to give it a chance to maturate (mature in the bottle after the 1st couple sprays). It's getting sweeter as it sits and I am starting to really enjoy it!

This does smell like a licorice and cherry candy but it's not a candy I am too keen about. Its lovely but I much preffer ruby rush by Paris Hilton, especially the opening of ruby rush. Ruby rush is spicy and has cherry and hibiscus in it. Smells more sour which balances out the sweetness. Then it becomes creamy too. I love ruby rush. This didn't seem too special to me. And the licorice-like note gives it a nice touch of bitterness but to me it's not feminine enough because of this licorice-like accord here. This is just based on testing it at a perfume shop because I didn't buy or used it more than once to give my opinion time to develop. I may change my mind if I use it more but I dont think it will ever top "ruby rush" anyways

Hmmm, I have alot of the 'reminds me of' scents... This one is sharp.. basic. Will have to skjn test again for the nuances.. but lately im not at all impressed with the arab scents, they cost alot and aren't really comparable quality wise to other options in the designer field. Compared to niche bottles yes, these are better value, however, they do skip ovee a heck of alot of nuances, which really make it noticeable when tou do side by side tests

I have beenwearing Odyssey Candee since it released, and I absolutely love it. It starts with a sweet explosion of fruity notes, such as peach andraspberry, and then transitions to a warm, tropical groove with caramel and passion fruit. It’s sweet without beingcloying, due to a lovely bit of musk and patchouli. Nice for everyday wear, and itholds up well. Overall very balanced for those that enjoy sweet, but not too sweetfragrances

I am really surprised at the reviews here. To me it has Kayali's DNA. A very similar profile to the expensive Rock Candy Sugar. It's not too precious that you feel guilty using it. It's juvenile, bright, fresh. Now I want to know what car air freshener you guys are using because this smells fantastic for the price.

I just bought this perfume (blind buy) and after one spray on my wrists, I have to say that it smells quite masculine to me. Hopefully the dry down is softer and sweeter and more feminine.

This smells like the mall to me! I love the strawberry and caramel. It brings back memories of shopping before internet shopping and walking around the mall as a child.

I really wish the patchouli note in this one wasn't as strong. I'd like it a lot more if it was like 20-30% less present
