Odyssey Dubai Chocolat

Opening: DAMN... This is AMAZING! The name pretty much says it all. An overdose of milk chocolate, with pistachio and coffee is what I'm getting. Like a visit to an upscale chocolaterie. This is an extremely playful gourmand scent, not something you wear for a job interview. But I can see myself wearing this all day every day at home. Dry-down: The coffee subsides, and gives way to a nutty accord to join the party... Making it slightly rounder and a hint less playful (so now just "very very playful" instead of "extremely playful"). The rest stays pretty much the same, and I want to eat my wrist! My wife REALLY loves it as well! And fortunately, performance is top notch! Checked every hour with her from 2ft, and if no scent, 1ft, and if still no scent, 4" from skin. I think this is going to replace my Qahwa as my "The #1 winter scent that has almost no versatility" when I finish my Qahwa. Both are very limited to where and when you can wear them. Subjective Scent Score: 9.4. I'm a chocolate and coffee addict, so that makes sense. Longevity: 9.1. 9-10 hours on skin, 12 hours on clothes. Projection: 8.8. 2ft-3ft the first hour, then 1ft for 2 hours, then scent trail for another hour or so) Blind buy safety score: 4.0. This is not a versatile "easy wear"... You need to love hyper Gourmands and really love chocolate. Do NOT blind buy this. Unisex Score: Perfectly unisex. Versatility Score: 2.5. Very playful and cozy, and winter-fall only. Not even REMOTELY office safe. Value score: 8.0. it's $27 (USD), but at least it's nuclear. Was $43 when released, then dropped to $35, and now it's $27... My guess is they'll keep it this price until next winter is over. Bottle design: 4.5. A little ugly and silly. Atomizer score: 4.0 (weak).

Armaf's Odyssey Dubai Chocolat is such an amazing fragrance to me. I'm honestly surprised the perfume rating isn't slightly higher than it is. My bottle has been matured and macerated since October/November of 2025, and it absolutely smells stunning. I perfectly smell dark chocolate, hazelnut, caramel, pistachio, and maybe even some tonka bean as well as amber wood. The longer I let my bottle sit and macerate, the better the overall scent matured. It is such a tasty and delicious fragrance that I think can be unisex. What's crazy is at first I didn't really liked it, but after a few months of macerating the smell became better and it grew on me. I'm absolutely in love with it and it is one of my favorite gourmand fragrances. But a lot of people with these Arab colognes I'm noticing either aren't macerating their bottles, or they were unlucky and received a bad batch. But trust me, if you get this and don't like it at first, spray it 5-10 times or so and let your bottle sit for a few months then come back to it. If it improves, thank me later. Best for fall and winter wear. I love to layer this with Alrehab's French Coffee. But yeah this fragrance is an absolute banger and I will be repurchasing another bottle when my first runs out. Got my nose on this about 3 weeks ago. For the first 15 minutes I didnt smell hardly anything on my hand but coffee and pistachos and was disappointed. After about 20 minutes this thing started popping off chocolate like CRAZY lasting over 22 hours on my hand. I picked it up last week at a local shop for 40 bucks and love it to death. Couldve got it cheaper on Amazon but I like to supoort local businesses every now and then. Ive had a sample of Montale Chocolate Greedy, a sample of Profumum Roma Sorriso, a bottle of Al Rehab Choco Musk and now Dubai Chocolate. It ties with Sorriso for the top spot. In the first couple hours, projection is very strong and could possibly fill a room. It will last forever on my hand but only about 8-12 hours on other body parts and it will pretty much stay on my clorhes till I do laundry. Deep drydown (4 hrs) is sweet but not headache inducing, and gives me carmel, vanilla and chocolate, with the chocolate not being as strong, but STILL very present. I don't pick up anything synthetic here at all. This was a great purchase, and my first from Armaf👍👍

I tested this frag with two sprays at my office, where it's usually hard to notice perfumes because of all the different scents and oil warmers. But since it got delivered while at work, I tested it on my arms and it filled the room. Yeah, it overpowered the other scents, but it smells really good and right now I still smell it.. 5h later. Recommended sprays: 2 is enough; it'll last all day. After about 3 hours, I stopped noticing it for a bit, but then it hit me again like I had just sprayed it. For the first 10..15 minutes, you get a deep, rich chocolate scent with amber in the background. It’s not overly sweet just well balanced. But it’s insanely strong. Do not spray more than 3 times. A blast of Minty Chocolate with roasted nuts on top, and something a bit Wheaty which I assume is the knafeh. After 10 minutes that wheat smell goes under as the mint dissipates, replaced by what I can only describe as Salty Pistachio with Chocolate, a hint of coffee and a generous dose of caramel. It's from this mark that it resembles The Dubai Chocolate served alongside a fresh made granola bar (which is still warm) and a Salted Caramel Iced Coffee, it's Gourmand and it's rich. Longevity is around 6 hours, projection is strong for the first hour and a close proximity scent for it's duration. Tested it and proceeded with my day and then just bought it today, so too early to speak on compliments and likeability, but as a gourmand guy I can say I love it so for now I'll give it an 8.5/10.

I absolutely LOVE Gourmand scents! It's why I own 6 Bottles of Montale and a few bottles of Mancera. I have also been obsessed with Middle Eastern houses loke: Armaf, Haramain, Maison Alhambra and Rassasi. I just purchased this absolutely delicious bottle you see here. I'm getting all of these: Coffee, Chocolate, Praline, Hazelnut, Pistachio, Caramel, to name a few. 🤤 And I detect all of them! The only knock is longevity. I got @ 4-5hrs on my initial try. But that was directly on skin no clothing application. If I were to spray over a light lotioning, I'm certain it would last longer. However, great siliage and projection especially in the first couple of hours. Overall, a must have if you love Gourmand.

Just arrived today. Coffee scents are not my jam, but this coffee is minimal and takes a back seat to the chocolate and pistachio with a bit of sweet spice. Mint is not listed in the breakdown above, but this gives a mint chocolate chip vibe. Lasted about 6 hours and started to fade, it could have gone a bit longer but I took a shower at that point. Very nice, sweet gourmand indeed. Again, this is just a first impression, a few weeks from now, the coffee could come out more, but I truly hope it doesn't.

So the opening smells exactly like dubai chocolate you will become an addict and keep spraying this im warning you. The drydown is not very dubai chocolatey but still very gourmand sweet and overall uplifting fragrance that i got for 15$. Incredible price, good projection 3 hours then skinscent 15 hours. I got a compliment on it the first time i wore in like 30 minutes. True unisex fragrance btw i walked past my mom with this on and she thought my sister was wearing it😅. I recommend i blind bought.

My nose detected Wafer, Praline, Coffee, Kunafa/Pistachio, and Caramel for the top notes. I like it! It smells different than any other sweet-smelling scents out there. And I agree to the other reviewer's description that this is a scent better for men. There is also traces of Mint and Chocolate-Vanilla at the drydown. Nice one! Edit: I just came home and ate my Dubai Chocolate Pistachio Kunafa by Royati. They smelled exactly the same! 99.9% Check my fragram page for the pictures!

AMAZING ! I tried 1st time last year, very expensive, anyway after a while we decided to buy: WOOOOW... At first looks strange, anyway really good (and we don't like gourmand or too sweet perfumes usually, hard to find one really good...but THIS is! After some time we wanted to sell to change, but as I said are really rare good perfumes...and THIS is really REALISTIC Really well made, I started to use again, but few puff because is good and also with very strong projection : )

Surprisingly good for a chocolate themed perfume! I was worried it would be thin and singular and short lived. I'm glad I bought this and will be wearing chocolate more often now. 👍 The perfume itself smells like a really balanced mix of Al-Rehab's French Coffee & Choco Musk with a nice touch of vanilla that is a bit bathroomy at first but it blooms into a good blend. I really like this as it replaces two of my perfumes. ❤️ 8.5/10 Only lasts 6 to 8 hours 😭

Great chocolat scent..... The opening is the best part... The chocolate comes thru very nice in the beginning (wished it lasted longer) then dries down to a creamy coffee Carmel swirl type of scent.... Chocolat pretty much disappeares.... Reminds me of theirry mugler pure coffee/amen.. Dosint project like The amen flanker this is more of a skin scent! Can be worn anytime just don't expect major performance..... Expect to smell comfortable.!

The chocolate is so well blended it was reminiscent of A Montale style fragrance but the Khafh Pistachio gives it nuttiness, and the cardamom, gives it this sexy mass appeal, a new era of gourmand.

I’ll be hones I’m usually not a fan of gourmand fragrances. But the moment I tried Odyssey Dubai Chocolat, everything changed. It completely took me by surprise! The opening is rich and inviting, but it’s the dry down that truly won me over smooth, addictive, and absolutely luxurious. This fragrance made me realize that sometimes, you don’t know what you’re missing until you experience it.

Definitely gourmand notes too on this one, an almost dark chocolate to start but then im smelling a creamy coffee/ slight bitterness on the dry down which lasts a long while, can still smell it since dinnertime about 5 hours ago, few people I got to try it said initially they wasn't sure but then had a change of mind once it'd settled, would definitely buy again 7.5/10

I got this fragrance randomly on an impulse buy and I am so happy I did! At first spray you get that strong coffee, chocolate strong gourmand smell (not the best impression) but on the dry down the pistachio really comes through and it smells sooo delicious and melts the smells together. It's like if you would mix a Sol de J 62 with Angel Muse. 9/10 absolutely love.

This is a VERY HIT OR MISS masculine cocoa fragrance. On my skin, it is really good! It's so sexy and smells delicious while being spicy and almost has a fresh undertone weirdly enough. I don't get a lot of the listed notes when I smell it on me, but I still think it's something to try if you like a masc perfume and a gourmand combined. Just don't blind buy it.

People be tripping this smells almost like Mandrian Sky fully re worked, sweet bold coffee in the beginning with a baklava vibe, then in the mid the chocolate comes in creamy w some caramel, that drys down to a sweet chocolate sandalwood I also got 2 hr projection - 8+ hr longevity

Besttt perfume ever Bought sper creamy node of coffee and chocolate and after at the same time 15 min pista cream node which is awsomeeeeee if they extend the node of pista it would be a banger and after getting settled it smell like caramel and butter

I'm on my second bottle! I love how Armaf was able to bottle the trending Pistachio Kunafa chocolate. It’s like they’ve distilled a luxury pastry shop into a wearable scent. I have also gifted this to some of my friends and they all love it!

This is the most edible perfume I've ever smelt. And yes it lives up to what it promises. It's such an interesting scent profile and its soo soo rich. However it might not be everyone's cup of tea so I suggest try it before buying it

DO not buy anything based on a youtuber opinion. They are not honest one bit. Almost every time I bought based on theirs it was a failure as opposed to my successful blind buys based on notes and what people like you are saying.

This stuff smells like a dubai chocolate bar. It even smells crunchy. This stuff is so good it's insane. Performance so far seems to be very good too. Not a beast but definitely way above average. 10/10.

This is so underrated and surprisingly yummy! It smells like axe chocolate body spray but on steroids! I can smell the knafeh which is so funny LOL! Love it!!!! Unisex chocolatey woody yummy!

I think this is exactly how you’d HOPE a Dubai chocolate cologne would smell. It’s very true to the name but also idealistic for the sake of the fragrance.

I'm willing to bet people are going noseblind to this. I don't have mine yet but I imagine this scent profile is easy to go nsoeblind to.

Whereas the original and its other flankers are all clones, this is an original gourmand fragrance and it makes a strong impression. However, divisive online reviews mean you'll have to decide if it's a good or a bad one for yourself. I find this to be a very intense gourmand fragrance, smelling exactly like, well, a Dubai chocolate bar. The viral treat is a blend of chocolate, pistachio cream, tahini (sesame) paste and knafeh which is essentially what North Americans would recognize as shredded wheat. :D It's an eerily accurate representation of the virally famous food item. It blends sweet, coffee, chocolate, nutty, vanilla, amber, sugar, and light cardamom aromas. This is a gourmand lover's dream. Surprisingly comes across as very masculine despite all the food notes, possibly too much so for some female users. It would be great for social occasions but note that the aroma could get lost in environments where food and beverage are present. There is also now a ton of competition from both designer and Middle Eastern houses. The Fragrance World Coffee Collection, Lattafa's Nebras and Eclaire, and Billie Eilish come to mind just to name a few so there is a risk of redundancy depending on what you already have in your collection. Performances is just so so, from average to weak. Presentation as always is fun. Recommended, especially for gourmand lovers.

Very sweet chocolatey pistachio smell. Very unisex, feminine leaning in my opinion. Smells like a dessert with a bit of nuttiness. A good option for the winter on a date perhaps cause it is very edible and cozy. It’s cute, not sexy or seductive but a cute ‘cuddly watching a movie while it’s raining outside’ vibe. I don’t know if chocolate scents on people is a good thing because it just makes me want to eat chocolate. Unlike vanilla which is sexy on people...overall a nice perfume 7/10 🍫

Nose Note #721 The closest thing to this that I have is Montale Chocolate Greedy which I'm very indifferent towards. This one is much better! It's not overly strong. I haven't tried Dubai chocolate, but this smells just like chocolate cookie, so rather generic. FW Creme of Clouds and Lattafa Eclaire go in the same direction, but more lactonic. Honestly, to me they are all similar. They are all cookie gourmands. Can't imagine this as a daily scent. 7/10, unimpressive, but pleasant.

OPENING/INITIAL THOUGHTS: I thought this would smell like chocolate and pistachio but to me it smells like a mint hot chocolate instead. It's a lovely scent and I would love getting whiffs of this all day even but if I smelled this on someone I'd assume they'd spilled that on themself UPDATE/DRYDOWN: Smells the same but with the minty note had became so noticeable that I'd say this would genuinely be a gourmand fragrance for men!

Someone asked if this leans masculine, IMO it does. I took my kid perfume shopping and this one caught his eye because he's obsessed with dubai chocolates. He tried it on his arm and we both loved it so much we immediately bought it. Smells chocolately with a hint of pistachio and vanilla, but the dry down is more woody and musky. It is mostly unisex, leaning masculine. Very delicious, a good value for the price.

I was really disappointed the first time i smelled this at a store, both myself, my brother and my mom. First spray is too strong. Now after a couple of weeks later I smelled it again and somehow I like it. Actually everyone in the room liked the fragrance. They all thought It was a fragrance that could be eaten. All these said, this is a try before buy.

tried this out the other day and it smelled straight up like creamy pistachio, definitely more feminine leaning but a guy could wear this too. i sort of smell the knafeh but the chocolate is very strong. worth getting for a good price

Parline, pistachio & hazelnuts with a hint of vanilla. A very nice scent composition. Smooth, slightly sweet, slightly powdery, nutty, well-balanced and blended. Unique and unisex. Good sillage and longevity. I liked this.

Great gourmand and chocolatey scent. Totally unisex. Nothing I haven’t smelled before yet definitely worth the price for its performance is definitely beast mode.

I have very mixed feelings about this Dubai Chocolate fragrance from Armaf, firstly the positives, I tried this fragrance at Chemist Warehouse on a piece of testing paper and this fragrance actually does smell alot like dubai chocolate, the notes of chocolate and pistachio in particular are so prominent in this, it smells so sweet and gourmand and intense. If you like very sweet chocolatey scented or gourmand fragrances then I think you would like this. In terms of executing the fragrance, I think Armaf really nailed the essence of dubai chocolate very well. Now onto the negatives, the bottle looks ugly and unfortunately when I sprayed it on my skin it smelled awful on my skin. I'm so disappointed, I love sweet gourmand fragrances and I really wanted to like this, and I do like the strong sweet smell of this fragrance on the paper, but on my skin it smelled very different, it smelled alot more spicy and even abit medicinal, which was not pleasant at all. I guess this fragrance just does not suit my skin and does not mix well with my body chemistry, so disappointing.

this is not at all what i would consider a realistic chocolate or dessert gourmand and i'm surprised at the amount of reviews describing it that way. as someone who owns and regularly wears many photorealistic and literally-interpreted gourmands, maybe my expectations were just different from the start. while it does lean toward sweet, it is predominantly woodsy and warm-spicy. my immediate impression was (traditionally) masculine body spray/aftershave. i would have to agree with those who voted that it reminds them of Axe body spray. to me, it is still suitable for any gender because... wear whatever you want. overall, not an unpleasant scent, it's just nothing like what i expected based on the composition notes and the bulk of reviews. not what i would consider a safe blind buy. it does have decent longevity and projection. it's not for me but i wouldn't mind smelling it on someone else, especially in the fall and winter.

First great blind buy, this stuff is ADDICTING! it smells so chocolatey and sweet and i get this hint of like a boozeyness, which compliments the chocolate so much. However the pistachio and coffee notes are nonexistent. They are undetectable, but regardless this thing is amazing, and its quite versatile in what it does. However, the performance of this isn't spectaculare, The scent doesn't linger for very long, im only getting about 3-5 hours out of this and the scent keeps quite close to you, you literally have to woft yourself around in order for others to smell it. And i agree with the vicks vaporub thing people were talking about, it sometimes smells like what a coughdrop tastes like. But it's extremely faint and its only when you open it and smell it straight from the source Overall 8/10

I liked this perfume, it had both dark chocolate and dubai chocolate smell, with a hint of coffee. It was kind of dark scent but good. I bought the bottle after sampling it, and everything was fine for the first few months. Then i kind of paused and didn’t use this perfume for some time, maybe for a couple of months, and when i started using it again, it had a clean, musky smell, which i cannot stand. I have no idea how can i smell musk in this perfume, which is not in the notes, nor i smelled it in the begining, I have no idea how did this happen at all, but here we are. So i had to give this bottle away.

Sprayed this on my arms at chemist warehouse and then walked around with this on for around 5 hours, still can smell it. This fragrance was never on my to buy list as I don't ever find myself wanting to smell like chocolate but I gave it a go to see if perhaps I was wrong. This fragrance is pleasing to a degree; it has a heavy hazelnut quality to it, think of true hazelnuts and its oil, not nutella, almost boozy. Smells a tad bit musty on my skin but it was more enjoyable than I expected. You may like this more if dessert-type fragrances are your thing but otherwise, just alright.

Opens with hazelnut-chocolate. Has woody notes, musk and spices. Woods darken and it develops something strange, a smell akin to "Bovril," or beef stock? This unusual aroma drops off and light chocolate and musky notes return, (maybe coconut as well,) before slight smoky woods and something herbal, resembling rosemary. Performance is decent. Projects well. Best for spring, autumn and winter, (day or night.) Masculine smell. Different certainly. Try before you buy.

It's ok I guess. Obvious cash grab that they should've put some more effort in. I don't even know how you could blend this less well and the pistachios smell stale somehow??? Pistachio Kunafa by Anfar blows this out of the water. More complex and very enticing, whereas the only thing saving this is the basic profile. I was very disappointed since Black forest was great but unfortunately not.

Since all the comments want to glaze this perfume, i will give you my honest opinion on this fragrance, Its really vanilla more of a cholacetey once not like i expected it, i feel it tooo sweet and too caramel ish and i expected also some pistachio notes overall good for its price but i know it can do better than what has it been reviewed as
