Odyssey Revolution

Okay, it's not here to change the world, but still managed to get me complimented before I even finished my morning coffee. Opens with a familiar blast, like Aventus stopped by to drop a pineapple, then chills into a BR540 meets Ultramale vibe. Think Afnan 9PM Rebel’s equally (maybe slightly less) rebellious cousin. Think Armaf's own Club De Nuit Urban Man Elixir, but more affordable. Not groundbreaking, but definitely a conversation-starter. Good if you're looking for compliments for around the $30 mark. I just bought this today because I'm a fan of the br540 DNA and yes it's like a hybrid between that one and ultra male I'll say like 50/50 good for summer day and night and I see this doing good also during winter time because of the praline no it's very little gourmant not so much slightly gourmant so it's a good option a all year rounder honestly.

Great opening and surprised by the scent. It started similar to a mix of notes with a dry down to its own lane. Highly surprised TBH and on skin it is beautiful. Fruity, spicy, bright, mossy and amber that stayed on my skin until the following day. Yes a similar Collectors Edition blast but Absolute banger.

Just got this today and I absolutely love it. Smells amazing, and the longevity is really good. It's been on for about 7 hours and I don't see it slowing down anytime soon. Happy to have this in my collection!!!

This is a strong blend of sweet, fruity, citrus, vanilla, musky, spicy, vanilla and herbal aromas with prominent notes of pineapple, citrus, vanilla, cardamom and fresh patchouli musk. Performance is good and this works for both sexes. Younger users will especially appreciate, older ones who dislike sweet fragrances should probably avoid. If you like any of the three DNAs that make up this fragrance, you should get it. If you already own one or more of the originals or many clones thereof, this may be a bit redundant for you. If you'd like the layering work already done for you or just want a great hybrid fragrance, then get this. Recommended.

I own quite a few fragrances, and overall I’ve been happy with most of them. The only one I wasn’t impressed with at first was Armaf Odyssey Revolution. Initially, the scent felt a bit harsh and unbalanced, but after giving it time to macerate, it has noticeably improved in both smoothness and overall performance. As it continues to mature, the fragrance is becoming much more refined and enjoyable to wear. At this point, it reminds me of a blend between Creed Aventus and Dior Sauvage — featuring the fruity, smoky character associated with Aventus along with some of the fresh, modern ambroxan-style notes found in Sauvage. The dry down especially has become far more appealing over time, and I think it’s continuing to get better with age.

I am still trying to pin down the notes on this. I get the fruity opening, but its not exactly something else I've smelled. I think the qaed al fursan comparisons for the opening are reasonable, but this is far more complex. To me this smells like they mixed a qaed al fursan-like fruit with a light oud (like Lattafa Badee Oud for Glory... I was able to make something that smells similar by layering these fragrances. ) The combination of these makes the fruit pop out more at first, and the dry down last much longer with the light oud (not stanky oud). The late dry down leans more into the light oud, but keeps a slight fruity sweetness. This has good longevity. It’s like 9pm rebel or Hawas red with better performance.

This is an amalgamation of sorts. If you think about a certain fragrance you can pick up nuances of whatever it is you think of, if that makes sense. It's literally all over the place but somehow meshes together nicely. I see the 9PM rebel/ qaed al fursan similarities but I didn't care for those at all but this however is fantastic. It's crazy strong right out of the box.

Dont smell anything like Ultra Male, smells more like 9PM rebel and Afnan CE , but this its even weaker, i paid 28€ smells nice , but this Odyssey line its weak , i put this on the hand and Hawas tropical on the other , and tropical its MUCH MORE potent

I don't get much more than strong pineapple and Sage. That's actually in a good way. Performance is very good. To me this is identical to 9pm Rebel without the earthy drydown as this stays the same throughout. Outstanding fragrance for the mo ey

This is Armaf Infinity but change the Citrus for Red fruits and you have the exact same structure. You don ́t need this if you already won Spicebomb Nightvision EDP and Armaf Infinity

I think Afanf Supremacy not only intense its a much better take in this DNA really that sh*t smell so well and has a nuclear performance that's way bettef than this one.

SB night vision with hints of mint, thats it... Nothing too exciting... Get armaf infinity instead if you want the night vision DNA

On the very first spray I completely missed the pineapple as the praline and cardamom seemed most prominent, perhaps because I wasn’t used to that combo, and it wasn’t nearly as fruity or sweet as I expected. However, now I’ve had this a while and have gotten more used to it, it is quite pineapple heavy but the praline, sage and cardamom are also prominent. IMO the Vanilla/Tonka/Patchouli gives it a similar dry down to Art du’Parfum, but with a pineapple layer. Similar strong longevity though, good value and whilst not horrible the notes are a mismatch and it’s not one of my favourites.

The opening is decent and very mainstream scent character. My issue is the drydown, it starts to smell more and more synthetic and starts to give me a headache. I did fall in the hype train and blind bought this cuz of the youtubers but imo, there's better options. I know this is dirt cheap but I hardly wore this in my few months I owned this. Ultimately, I gave it away. Think that said everything

Fruitier take on Aventus. Falls short of other dupes but still a good budget friendly option.

I get a strong sour grapefruit. It has a very strong middle eastern twang. I do not get sweet, no blue, just a sour bitter grapefruit. What a bummer, I really had hopes that this would be something I would want to wear. To Ebay we go...

My nose: Aventus is definitely in there. Patchouli is quite prominent. Great on the strip but on my skin the patchouli has a sickly sweet aspect that smells like unscented, melted candle wax. Not for me.

This should be a merge of few popular scents but to me it's lacking character. Im a bit lost and confused. Im trying to figure out whats going on. Will update soon when i find an answer

Yes, it is similar to Armaf Club de Nuit Precieux, Afnan Supremacy Collector's Edition, and Afnan 9PM Rebel. They all have that same kind of very good pineapple opening. What I don’t like about Armaf Club de Nuit Precieux and Afnan Supremacy Collector's Edition is the drydown. They all end up losing the fruity/tropical opening and turn into a weird woody-floral, unpleasant scent in the mid and drydown. Armaf Odyssey Revolution starts the same route, but it retains more sweetness in the mid and drydown, which I appreciate. 9PM Rebel may be the one that keeps the fruity opening the longest, but you also have to deal with a strong woody undertone, too strong for that kind of scent. For that reason, Armaf Odyssey Revolution may be a better option if you want something very similar to 9PM Rebel without the overly strong woody note in the background. On the other hand, Dumont Nitro Platinum opens like all of these but keeps its fruity, sweet notes in the mid and drydown. The drydown of Nitro Platinum stays amazing. My rating : 7/10

Yep I think everyone has summed it up well. “It’s like throwing Aventus, Ultra Male, and Afnan 9 PM in a blender. But Instead of making a smoothie, you end up with chunks of fruit, stems, and seeds hitting you in the face. You can tell what went into it—you just can’t call it one thing. You’re just trying to squeeze what you can out of a dollar here. Fuck it just find Dior Savage at a discount for $65 or something. You’ll be happier. It’s ok . Just more $20 bottles you’ll give away as gifts . If you’re like me. Or something to wear out of a shower and into bed. Smells good but don’t mind wasting. 🤷♀️because it wears off by the time the wife falls Asleep anyways. 🤣

Opening is really fruity/sweet. Definitely not a clone of any single fragrance, it is mix that actually turned out to be a unique harmony. Smells identical to Shaghaf Men by Swiss Arabian in the first 1-2 hours, which is a clone of Black XS by Paco Rabanne. That designer fragrance shares a lot of the same notes as this one - citrus, sage, praline, cardamom, patchouli. So, nobody has said it but I believe Odyssey Revolution Ultra is a Black XS (2005) clone. It is a 20-year old fragrance that smells classic & fruity & sweet. Nothing too fancy. If you like sweet fruits and live in a warmer climate, get a bottle and wear it religiously.

Odyssey Revolution jumps onto the same bandwagon as Afnan Collector’s Edition. I’ve always felt that fragrances built around a Sauvage Elixir or BR540 style profile tend to be less versatile and pretty intrusive to personal space, so they’re best worn with restraint. Lately, the trend has swung toward gourmand and fruity notes to make scents feel more unisex, but even that can go wrong. When the fruitiness is pushed too far, it quickly turns cloying. If you already own Collector’s Edition or any other Aventus Absolu clone, this one doesn’t really add anything new.

This is the most chaotic "reminds me of" comments section ive seen. Omar of School of Scent said this smells alot like YSL L'Homme Ultime, but here in the comments I see Aventus, BR540, Ultramale, Spicebomb Nightvision... These fragrances smell nothing like each other. Sometimes I wonder, do the people commenting really try the fragrance, or just want to leave a comment anyway?

Ultra male? NO 9Pm rebel? NO Qaed al fursan? NO Hawas Fire? NO Collectors edition smaller brother? YESS For 20€ is fine....but id rather have CE over this one every day of my life. Softer and more floral than CE but same vibe. Performance is average 7/10 while CE is a 20/10

Aventus DNA, Slight BR540 but I detect no ultra male in this. I sprayed this at 2:30pm yesterday and still smell it this morning on skin.
