Perle d'Or

I'm surprised that this fragrance was released mid this year and there's little to no hype around it. One of the best feminine Armaf fragrances in my opinion. Very well blended, the notes mesh well together and it's got a floral - clean fresh feel. Similar to Valaya but not quite. Smells grown, classy and expensive. Easily one of my best buys for 2025. Signature scent worthy. Highly recommend. Only downside is the bottle is only 75ml. What's up with that? And fyi the notes for this on here are wrong, below are the correct notes from Armaf. Top: Mandarin, Bergamot, Clary Sage Mid: White flowers, Orange blossom, Lily of the Valley, Tonka bean Base: Vanilla, Patchouli, Ambroxan, Musk and Sandalwood

This fragrance is not for the faint of heart. If you don't like in your face scents, this is not for you. I for one love that, it comes out strong, projects and then the dry down is lovely, but then again I like my fragrances loud and in your face. Its not a one for one of Valaya, I think the sage might be the difference, but I can't say for sure. If your looking for a closer Valaya dupe, I still prefer Mystique Bouquet, but this fragrance is lovely.

I can't wait to break this out in Spring. Perle d'Or by Armaf is pretty close to Valaya and Mystique Bouquet. I find a slight difference in Perle d'Or and that slight difference makes this a true unisex fragrance. Mystique Bouquet is a bit more lighter and feminine leaning to my noise. So worth it for the price point.

The bergamot opening leads you to believe that this fragrance is much lighter and floral than it truly is. Do not be fooled. This is actually a heavier and more wintery fragrance than it first suggests.

Though not having the same notes, it smells very similar to Lattafa Her Confession, which is not bad as I love it. The only distinction is a more citrus-y whiff on the first spray.

Please don’t blind buy this as a Valaya dupe. This is misleading. THERE IS NO AKIGALAWOOD in this blend. Valayas don’t just contain this captive, there is a boatload of it. However this fragrance is a beauty of its own kind, it has warm and laconic musky base, almost like horchata drink. And overall it’s an amazing unique blend that I personally enjoy more than Valayas

I don't have Valaya to compare. PERLE smells very citrusy and clean. Bright and powdery. Masculine leaning in my opinion. I prefer feminine scents. But I will keep it. If I have to I can give it to my husband. It was a very addicting scent.

It smells so good but it’s performance is terrible. Let’s see what happens after few weeks maceration. Update: after 2 months sitting in dark and cool it’s projection improved. I mean it changed to beast mode.

I received this perfume today with high hopes that it might capture the elegance of Parfums de Marly Valaya, or at least lean toward something in the direction of Tom Ford Soleil Blanc. Unfortunately, it doesn’t resemble either. The opening is quite sharp, dominated by citrus and florals that come across rather generic — reminiscent of many Zara-style fragrances, without a distinct identity. As it develops, the composition doesn’t improve for me; the dry down becomes increasingly unpleasant, bringing to mind Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue, a scent I personally could never enjoy. Overall, it lacks the refined, airy sophistication I was hoping for and instead feels more synthetic and unbalanced on my skin.

Presentation is lovely. Beautiful bottle with magnetic cap. It did smell like Valaya at first but after spraying it not as much. Maybe a mix of Valaya and Paradox. If you’re looking for a Valaya dupe both Delilah Blanc and Mystic Bouquet are better. For Paradox Nexa Musee and Raneen are both excellent choices.

This is nothing like Valaya, Valaya Exclusif, or its dupes. It’s a more masculine leaning fragrance, smelling something more in the likes of YSL Y edt. I thought I was crazy for thinking this then checked and they have some overlap. I think it’s the bergamot and clary sage combination.

Smells alot like Prada paradox intense upon first spray Then It sets down pretty quickly to a fanta cream soda with a dash of musk

Would you say it’s closer to Valaya or Mystique Bouquet?

At the initial spray, smells a lot like Petra.
