Red Sky

Armaf Red Sky Ok, I’m no expert. But got a sample of this one and just tried it. The opening is very “Red” (I know it’s a strange definition but that is what came to my mind right away). It’s very different from anything I have. Powerfully sweet at the opening (I love sweet fragrances but this is VERY SWEET at the opening). Then it becomes fruity and rosy, much softer. Coumarin starts to ground the scent, but I’m still trying to detect what makes me smell something that I can only describe as “Red”, so strange lol. I don’t completely dislike it, but don’t love it either. I think the ylang ylang is very pronounced all the time and on the dry down and it stays that way. I can barely smell the vanilla. I think if you like ylang ylang you will love it. However, the whole combination is not for me.

I'm really happy with my blind buy of Armaf Red Sky 😌 I just got it in the mail, opened it, and sprayed it on one arm. I applied Good Girl Blush Elixir to the other arm to compare. The first time I heard Red Sky mentioned, was as a spot on version of GGBE. IMO, Red Sky is more like a cross between GGB & GGBE. RS has less of that creamy almond vibe that I love about GGBE. I detect a little of it in RS, just not as much. Which is cool. Reminds me of Mia Dolcezza in that way ....to my nose, Mia Dolcezza is a cross between Donna Born In Roma and DBIR Intense 🤔 **As a side note: to me Good Girl Blush smells like a softer, less zesty, version of the original Prada Paradoxe.
