Tag-Him

Hi Friends, To give you perspective, in this genre, my beastly best friend is Mont Blanc Legend Intense. I checked the smells like Chanel Bleu but I didn't check the Perry Ellis (which I own). It does smell slightly similar to Perry but only vaguely. I'd say Perry is closer to BdC in the opening, if that's what you're looking for, but if you want a standalone fragrance that's great from top to base, Tag is awesome. As for tag, I blind bought because I really wanted to try a UAE frag (though my batch was made in France), it was affordable (30 CAD$) from a local Toronto based frag shop and because BdC smells better on friends than me. I bought Perry Ellis too for almost the same reasons, but have lost interest 1 year later because it makes me sneezy then disappears. My first attempt at Tag failed. I had sprayed it and an hour later met my wife and sister in law - they both said I smelled like a mature woman immediately. I tried it again today and I'm a few hours in, and my wife said it smelled great. Opening is really nice, it's like citrusy woody blast but moves away from the BdC/Legendy vibe very quickly on my skin because ginger and mint kick this into a softer fresh scent. Based on the opening and as it dries, this will be fantastic for summer nights and spring days. The patchouli and woody base comes in after the 3rd hour and it smells fantastic, it's balanced by some freshness that's carried over by the minty gingery citrus and made damp by the vetiver. Overall, the last in this genre I will buy - (I was thinking of Jimmy Chooman but this does the job much nicer). It's fresh and it's contemporary for sure. It lasts on clothes and blends with the skin nicely. It's a "like very much" for me and a happy purchase. Coming up for christmas, Club de Nuit Intense. The richness in this simple fragrance makes me curious about what armaf can do with the notes listed for CDNI.

Ive never tried Bleu de Chanel, so ill judge this on its own. I love it. Its a really good scent, fresh, a little bit sweet, very versatile. I can see this working anywhere anytome. It is probably not the best at anything, but its good at everything. Mass appealing, and very cheap so you can overspray without guilt and use for everyday use. Its going to be my new signature everyday scent, because of how good and cheap it is, and ill keep the more expensive/special ones for specific situations. It wouldnt be worth it if it was more expensive, as there are better performing scents out there, but its a great dumb reach do it all. With 3-4 sprays you can smell it for 4-6 hours, then becomes a skin scent so it needs reapplying. EDIT: After trying BDC i can say its very similar, but with lower quality and performance. Non fragheads won't be able to tell the difference unless smelled side by side. For the price its worth it.

Great for the price. I'm not a very picky person but to me this stuff is a great alternative to BdC. If you are trying to save on BdC this is a great budget spray that essentially is at least 80% the same. The opening is harsh but dries down to be pretty close to Bleu, if anything it'll smell a bit more soapy than BdC, meanwhile Bleu dries down to a bit more sweeter, but as I said. If you are not very precise and picky you won't pick up on it. Performance is good, it actually lasts about 6 hours if not more. My decant of BdC didn't last as long as the Armaf. Great buy for the price. You can get it for under 20 in some sites. I'd substitute this when you want that BdC likeness but not very important to be using up the good stuff.

I blind bought this perfume and at first I was kinda skeptical. Smelled interesting to say the least. There was one note that was so agressive it made me nauseous. But after I spray it on me - it's heaven. Perfect smell, masculine, woody with a twist of citurs and I must say it surprised me a lot. My gf loves it and so do I. Might just become my signature fragrance. Absolutely worth a try, price is awesome for 100ml so i would recommend it. But note this - you might not like it at first, so dont spray it on a piece of paper or in the air - spray it directly on you and then you will see it's true potential.

Opening, nothing like BDC at all. Maybe 30-50%? Not close. After 1-2 hours, then the similarity kicks in, I'd say 60-70% similiar. However, after 2 hours, performance isn't as good anymore, it's almost skin scent. But if you sniff closely, it does resembles BDC. I'm not saying it smells bad, in fact, it smells great, just that it's not BDC. For the price, I'd reapply every 2 hours. 3 Sprays before I leave the house (1 back of neck, 2 on shoulders), then 1 spray every 2 hours back of my neck. If you don't keep applying every 2 hours, your scent bubble would be within only 1 foot.

Escuchadme hermanos míos, no se trata de que nos guste o no a nosotros, yo hice un experimento con Sauvage y Club de nuit intense man, y ganó Tag Him, fue la preferida de mis compañeras entre todas las fragancias que tenía, aunque en el secado CDNI fue quien ganó (tengo entendido que pasa a ser Aventus) pero definitivamente Tag Him (clon de Bleu de Chanel) es una joya, la verdad a mí no me gusta su olor, pero dado que a las mujeres les parece muy sensual y varonil pues... No lo piensen y por el costo ja ja ja es un completo regalo amigos míos.

Dear Armaf, Someone on your factory floor has a great sense of humour... Kindly congratulate Him/Her for amping up the company revenues! Otherwise, who on Earth would pump the same exact perfume juice into 4-5 different bottles with a new name! 😂 Ok folks, there's 1. Armaf Tag-Him 2. Armaf Shades Blue 3. Armaf Voyage Blue 4. Armaf Marjan Silver Homme all are reminiscent of the Shannel's Blue cash-cow... Armaf Marjan Silver is the better one of all Armaf B d C cousins. Still can't seem to stop laughing at that Sterling Employee of the Decade!

I got this in the mail today and after much anticipation and excitement to try it on, all I can say is OMG! So very close to BDC, which is one of my favorite scents. Although the opening is not as deep and enigmatic as BDC, it blossoms beautifully into a superb citrus/spicy freshness after 3-5 minutes. The dry-downs glows with a warm woodsy/aromatic trail which amply clings to the simmered citrus from the opening. Amazing projection, sillage and longevity. Not bad for $18. I love it!

My god! I love this. If I could choose between Bleu de Chanel and Tag him... I'd pick BdC, and sell it, and buy two Tag him aaaand keep some change. Don't get me wrong, BdC is wonderful, but this is cheaper and I like it more. Longevity is good, sillage is arms length to a foot which is perfect. So classy but fun scent. But beware!!!! Try it on skin and wait for 5/10/15 minutes before judging. I usually get dissapointed with cheaper hyped scents, but this made me happy.

This is really nice! From the citrusy opening to the leathery dry down. I had smelled BDC a couple of times and is definitely in the same vibe, I got it yesterday and tested it today, it was a weird feeling because it was present all the day but somehow very subtle, after 12 hours I was at the gym and I was sweating and I smelled very nice... This can be a very good choice for daily office scent. I will wear it tomorrow too and I will come back with more details.

This was one of a few fragrances that my father left me when he passed away. It had been sitting in my bathroom with no use for a few years and finally got some love recently when I started getting into fragrances. This one is truly special, as I can still remember smelling it on my dad. It has a great Grapefruit Citrus top smell with some Minty and Ginger mid notes on some Cedar Woody bottom notes. For the price this should be in everyone's collection.

This has nothing to do with Bleu de Chanel. I have just blind bought this one and I was very disappointed. I own three other fragrances from Armaf that are amazing. I own - Club de nuit intense - Craze - Tres nuit all are highly recommended, through craze might be a bit feminine given the jasmine note but for me it is lovely. All in all stay away from tag him.

If you buy this expecting a Bleu de Chanel clone, you would be disappointed. Bleu de Chanel is sweeter and richer. However, this is in the same genre in the sense that it is woody fresh. On its own, this fragrance is amazing. I would highly recommend it for day to day use. It is very cheap and is very versatile.

A nice fragrance...It starts a bit harsh. Then, it slowly fades and comes into a nice smell. I think this has similarities with Bleu de Chanel.For the price there are few alternatives to Bleu like this one. Armaf made a great job...and the bottle is fantastic!

One of the best perfumes I ever bought. Great opening unlike some reviews here state. Longevity is more than average. Personally I can smell it on my skin 12 hours later. I have BDC and this is as long lasting to slightly better. Blind buy? Absolutely yes.

I have BDC edp. Got this as a free sample from larger order. Seriously thinking of buying full size. It is a pleasant scent. It is not a clone, but I would give it "inspired by". It is good scent for a price.

Armaf Tag Him EDT opens with a moderate projection of mostly citrus, and spicy notes. The opening is fresh, elegant, sporty, summery, and pleasant. The bergamot, grapefruit, and lemon combine their notes into once that is closer to the bergamot, sour, and prominent. The ginger and mint are also very noticeable, they create a spicy, sharp, fresh, and cooling green accord. The pepper is one or two steps above the nutmeg, but not too strong compared to the citrus notes. The base notes add a woody and green note but they are not prominent as individual notes. Both, the patchouli and vetiver add a green and fresh touch that supports the initial citrus notes that are gradually fading way creating almost a seamless transition from citrus fresh to green fresh. The sandalwood adds a faint sweet touch. The most important but subtle opening to a dry-down change in this fragrance is the partial dissipation of the initial citrus notes, which get reinvigorated by the fresh green notes of the patchouli and vetiver. The ginger and mint remain noticeable in both, the opening and dry-down. Once Armaf Tag Him EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a moderate projection, citrus/spicy (ginger, mint, pink pepper) fragrance with citrus, green, and light woody accords. Bleu De Chanel EDP is the king of blue fragrances featuring citrus, balsamic, woody, and smoky accords; Versace Dylan Blue is fantastic blue fragrance featuring citrus, amber, spicy, and aquatic notes; English Laundry Riviera which combines woody, fruity, and spicy accords but its performance is in the low side; Versace Pour Homme (Signature) EDT is good citrus and green fragrance, very versatile; Chrome United Men EDT is a green, citrus, and spicy fragrance with moderate projection; Salvatore Ferragamo F Black Pour Homme EDT is a fresh, woody and peppery fragrance with poor performance; Armaf Tag Him EDT is a versatile, ginger, mint, pink pepper, and citrus fragrance. SUMMARY: A moderate projection, citrus/spicy (ginger, mint, pink pepper) fragrance with citrus, green, and light woody accords. Great Bleu De Chanel alternative. To be honest, I spent so much on Bleu-like fragrances that I could've just bought a bottle of Bleu and had a few bucks left over. But I didn't, so... While it's not the closest clone, this is still my favorite. It dries down to a very powdery/spicy/smoky incense and lasts a LONG time. It's a very manly take on Bleu De Chanel. In my opinion, it's missing a bit of the top note intensity and depth from Bleu De Chanel. My favorite Bleu De Chanel clone run-down is this: Tag-Him - A bit more manly, heavy base notes. Lasts 10+ hours on me (but most of that is the spicy incense dry down). Perry Ellis - Beautiful "loud" over abundance of the top notes. Missing all the incense base notes. Only lasts about 4 hours. This is probably the closest clone to BDC, but it's missing the incense in the base. Nautica Life - Half Bleu De Chanel, half Nautica Blue. Bleu, but sporty. Lasts about 4-6 hours. The plus side to this and other BDC clones is that they can be layered pretty easily. A little of this one, a little of that one, all depending on your mood. Again, Tag-Him is my favorite stand-alone BDC clone. I love the long lasting smoky powdery dry down, which has a nice incense smell to it. If the top notes had more depth and lasting power, this would easily be a favorite scent. If you're looking for the incense dry down, this has it (albeit much more powdery and spicy). If you love BDC for the dry down in conjunction with the top notes lasting more than a few hours, you may not be 100% happy. As a scent itself and NOT as a BDC clone, I rate this one VERY high. It's quite obvious that very good ingredients went into making it, and the oil concentration is very high. Update: Now that I own Bleu De Chanel EDT and EDP, this is the ONLY Bleu De Chanel alternative I'm keeping. This is my Bleu De Chanel for lazy rainy days. I like to spray my bed sheets with this, and it lasts for at least a week at a time. I love wearing this when I'm relaxing, as opposed to wearing Bleu De Chanel when I'm up and moving.

Do enjoy Armaf Tag Him as a a very good fragrance on its own. Tag Him is a very pleasant fragrance besides being a very good EDT. It opens very citrusy and spicy (very good opening), and the woody dry down is particulary nice as well. Longevity it's easy 9+ hours. Projection is average during the first 2 hours. Sillage at its peak is close to 6 feet. I do like it and ladies seem to be very enthusiastic about it.. It's a very versatile frag. You may wear it almost everywhere, day or night. Just avoid using it with cold weather. It's a good clubbing fragrance and a fantastic summer scent. It's difficult not to compare it with Perry Ellis for Men. I judge PE to be a bit more synthetic but has the same behaviour in terms of longevity/sillage. Another nice frag to compare with Tag Him is Zara Lisboa. The Zara frag is very good with a magnific scent and unbeatable price but its performance is average. I prefer Tag Him over its two competitors. If you consider Bleu de Chanel as a competitor... well the two frags are really similar and I don't see the point of paying 6 times more for Bleu. Lovely smell, very similar to BDC. Projection is weak on me though - I put about 7 sprays on earlier (chest/front and back of neck and on my head [being bald]) and less than half hour later, at a friend's house before heading out I asked my friend's girlfriend, "do I smell too strongly", being a little concerned of over-spraying. She leaned in close to me and took a smell and said "no" - but she had to get *very* close to even notice it. However she did then say "wow you smell good" ..."like, really good" so the smell itself is great! I've worn BDC in the afternoon after applying this in the morning and they are very, very close. Projection's not the best but now I can smell it radiating from my chest/shirt as I sit and type this. I've been a bit warmer since my friend's reaction earlier and it does seem to have helped it 'spread' a bit more. Anyway for this price I'm happy with the fragrance - it does last a good time too, I've noticed. EDIT: last night I went out with this and the body spray of "America Look" by Milton Lloyd and projection was crazy an hour in - at least a good foot on me, and it lasted a long time. I applied the usual amount of sprays too - 2 on the chest, 1 on front of neck and one on the back. I was out bowling so perhaps my body heat increase contributed heavily towards it. I'm not sure of the role that the body spray played though. Interesting, and a gorgeous smell too. Scent: 9/10 Projection: can be loud for a few hours if over-applied Longevity: 7/10

I wish to judge Tag-Him by Armaf on its own merits so I won’t be comparing it to Bleu De Chanel or any other fragrance. Bergamot, grapefruit, lemon and pink pepper open this grand musical. I love me some citrus and with the pepper added in to subtly spice things up, I’m enjoying the opening act. Shortly after intermission, the supporting actors (ginger, mint, nutmeg and lavender) join the stage. To me, the ginger and mint are fantastic. They ever so gently enhance the opening performance. Nutmeg and lavender are important contributors but in a very minimalist way. For the final act cedar, patchouli, sandalwood, and vetiver arrive. Sandalwood is the main vocalist. His voice is beautiful but it has aged. The cedar, patchouli, and vetiver harmonize softly in the background enabling sandalwood to sound like he hits the high notes like he did when he was in his 20’s. At the end of the show, the crowd rises for a standing ovation to pay homage for a job well done. Longevity and sillage are decent. This is a great fragrance for the price. It will not go down in history as the greatest show on earth but it is certainly very entertaining, amusing, and pleasing. Book your tickets now for you and your love! If they enjoy this production as much as you will, you might just get lucky later on in the evening.

A LIKABLE enough Scent. To me, Armaf makes a handful of really stellar clones, a whole lot of "decent" smelling inexpensive alternatives to popular designer brands, and a few gut-wrenching stinkers as well. Tag-Him falls into the middle category in that it's a pleasant enough smelling alternative to Blue de Chanel (somewhat similar vibes) but lacks quality ingredients and that spin 'n polish finish of Chanel. I own Tag-Him and it's a good cheap alternative, but definite no substitute for the original since I own that too. If you want Blue de Chanel, then fork-over a $100+ for a bottle and you'll enjoy the heck out of it. However, if you're looking for a decent smelling cheapie (in an interesting black and gold bottle no less) then you can't go wrong getting a bottle. If you don't like it, give away this $20 scent to a friend, cousin, co-worker, or someone who need to upgrade their cologne.

Definitely not a BDC clone, something in the same category/vibes, but not a clone. Longevity and projection a bit more than BDC but nothing spectacular ( some say 9 hours of longevity and 4-5 hours of projection, or I do have a botched bottle or you never really tried this frag ). It is not bad at all and I received some compliments over it, but I do not reach for it very often cause it has this Gillette shaving cream note that persists for all the duration and which I find annoying in the long run. For the price, could be worth a blind buy, if you like BDC it has similar vibes so could easily work for you, if you need a clone, nope, as much as I'd like to, there aren't as many similarities to consider it close enough to the original one.

Scent: 6+/10 Value: 8/10 Longevity: 5/10 Sillage: 4/10 Versatility: 6/10 C'mon guys if you want Bleu De Chanel then spend the $130 for it and quit hating on a $20 frag. I'm sick to death of the whining. Tag-Him is a semi-sweet shower gel type of fragrance. Just appreciate the fact that this is in the same DNA as BDC. It doesn't replicate anything. It's a $20 frag geez... that's it... nothing more, nothing less. The longevity is good; I get around 4-5 hours on clothing (maybe a little longer). Sillage and projection are also good. This is nothing special but it is solid in its own right. My lady likes the scent and so do I, especially for the price point. I would repeat the buy. Hope this helps.

I just got this as part of a trade, honestly i've smelt +300USD niche (cough cough... Naxos) fragrances that are somehow screechier than this, the opening definetly has a floor cleaner aspect to it but it dies down literally 5 seconds later, and ends up smelling identical to the Chanel with a smaller dose of mint, i actually like this and was looking for a cheap ball splasher. Kind of redundant even for my small collection, but i can never get enough of this DNA, as Bleu de Chanel was the first fragrance i had ever smelled, it just has a place in my heart. Safe blind buy if you know the DNA, also i'm gonna assume older batches had a worse opening, mine's a 2024 and i detect no alcohol at all.

If you purchased this fragrance under the false pretenses of being cheap about Bleu de chanel, that's your fault! Everyone doesn't have a professional nose to actually say this is the best possible match. It is harsh when starting give it 10 minutes to settle , is it synthetic? Yes but not fully on. If you wear this fragrance as itself and not a clone of BDC, you'll be totally fine. Stop jumping into fragrances because someone else decides to say it's the God's honest clone. You get what you pay for! As always! Try it for yourself, everyone has different DNA!!!

Smells close to BDC, but without this incense note. I enjoy this fragrance, there isn't anything off putting about it to me. It makes a pretty decent layer if you combine this and BDC to stretch your bottle of BDC. However, it can be worn on it's own, and when you do, it isn't impressive, but it performs decent enough. Good for the office, good for a lunch/brunch date, but I wouldn't personally wear this and expect beast mode longevity. overall, it is a good, solid cheapie that to my nose, smells very very close to BDC. 8.5/10

I got this cologne in 10$ and it is totally worth the price. The opening is somewhat very similar to Bleu de channel and this one is not as rich and smooth as BDC but the base notes are different as BDC is more luxurious and creamier yet it still gives you a subtle woody aromatic touch. Unfortunately it does not last very well and the projection and silage is very light but same goes for bleu de channel so why wasting 120$... Overall its a win for me from the house of Armaf and i use it for daily wear casual cologne.

This is an Awesome Fragrance, Smells very much like Bleu de Chanel , (although BdC is of higher quality) but in my review of the original BdC i said it doest worth 80 bucks or so and if you find it for less than 60 bucks its very good otherwise go with Allure line but now with this Armaf Tag-Him (and even better Shades Blue) either go for BdC Eau De Parfum or just buy one of Armafs Fragrances :) its that good , blind buy worthy and every body loves it, Kudos to Armaf

I do not get how people say things like "bleu de chanel in a different bottle". It may be similar in the sense that it can be used in the same occasions, but that's where it ends. More gingery, and i get a dirty, leathery accord, whereas bleu de chanel is more pleasant, sweeter, more citral and cleaner. Bleu's scent is an 8/10, where this is a weak 5/10. An ok fragrance, but I don't really care for it.

A surprisingly decent and cheap as chips (11€ paid on discounter online) one from Armaf, to my nose it smells closest to Missoni pour homme, but less bright and happy as it trades the apple and jasmine for nutmeg and mint. Performs quite well, although the opening notes are brief. Summer night or Spring/Autumn day, blind buy super safe and amazing value for this ludicrous price.

I like Bleu, but not enough to buy. Thought I'd give this one a whirl, because it wasn't expensive. Good scent. Good enough clone to Bleu to satisfy me. Although concur on it being not as rich or deep as Bleu. Not an issue for me as I am not looking for an exact copy. this gives me the vibe without the cost. only issue I have is longevity, or should I say lack thereof.

Fresh, citrusy & Watery - : Longevity. But it's not a problem; for this price, you just need to over-spray or re-apply this freshness. +++ : Cool bottle design! The freshness feels natural (perfect sweet&sour balance), kinda airy, like you spray a face mist on your skin. For me, I like to wear/layer it during summer/hot days. Armaf, till now you're on top!

Tried Bleu de Chanel (EDT and EDP, one on each arm) and then the next day tried Tag by Armaf. Doesn't smell exactly the same. BDC smells more complex. Tag starts off with some serious grapefruit (which smells quite realistic). Dry-down is pleasant as well. Overall, Tag is affordable and smells nice. The gentleman's review below mine is accurate.

Got it from official distributor of Armaf in my country. What a wonderful experience, it lasts on my shirt for more than 12 hrs, smells fantastic and compliment factor is good too. Tres nuit has less longevity but higher compliment factor. To me it's slightly more citrusy than blue de chanel. Overall, one of the best returns of your money.

Definitely worth for the money ($15). Pleasing scent. Nothing offensive. Good Projection for 1st hour. Needs some maceration to get longevity, I think. Bought this as a clone of Blue De Chanel. (based on other reviews here). What smells a feet away is important, than you inhale very close to nose, you will notice all the differences.

It has a really good scent profile. It smells like grapefruit and lemon zest with a dash of ginger and mint. I prefer it over Missoni Wave, but unfortunately, the performance is just bad. It lingers as a skin scent for a few hours, but the projection is poor. Overspraying doesn't help much. I would get something else instead.

I think it's kind of funny all this hype about TAG HIM being a clone of BLEU de Chanel. Armaf sister company - ESTIARA - has another perfume - it's called ESTIARA MER BLEUE - that is really a xerox copy of BLEU de Chanel and nobody seems to notice it. If TAG HIM is preety good copy, then MER BLEUE is a tween brother.

This is a very sharp citrus/aquatic scent. Its really nice... I wish the performance was better... Thats the real downfall here. Becomes a skin scent within a couple hrs and I always apply generously... So I usually get better performance than normal. Great smelling scent ... Average to below average performer.

I agree it smells like bleu de Chanel! Sophisticated masculine smell. Personally though the longevity isn't great with me 3hours an it is barely recognisable after that which is ashame. Scent 9/10 Projection 7/10 Sillage 6/10 Great for casual wear, also good for a date with a lovely lady

It does smell like Blue de Chanel EDT. Its near impossible to tell the difference. I own this and a 5 oz BdC. I use this more only because of the lower price. I use the BdC on special occasions. If you wanna go for the name, go with Chanel but of course, its all about the scent.

Don't really care if it is suppose to be a BDC clone or not. I tried BDC and was very unimpressed. This on the other hand is quite nice. All i get from it is Lemon, Ginger and a little mint. Can't go wrong with Armaf. Great prices for great scents.

Mine is a made in France 03/2018 bottle. Very reminiscent of BdC in the opening, & for halfway through it's life. At the end of the dry down, it smells like Salvatore Ferragamo F Black (which I don't care for). Definitely a great buy though!

The opening is exactly same as for Armani Acqua Di Gio, then it becomes sweet scent. The performance is pretty weak, i stop smell it after about 1.5-2 hours. I don't think i would but again because of the performance.
