Venetian

Venetian is a hidden gem. A secret banger with definite similarities to A&F Fierce, but this is not a mall scent. It is slightly sweeter and fruitier. A green, lime, citrus opening drying down to a semi sweet, vetiver, musky quality. Old fashioned? Yes, but classy in a way that might be deceptive at first. I agree with many here that it is fairly casual, but it is also super versatile. What would make an awesome and distinguished office safe scent could go easily at the gym. Or sipping cocktails in the evening on the veranda. Indeed, Armaf named the scent well. There is something very Italian about it, and I even get a some what formal feeling to it in evening settings. Like a Venetian don in a linen suit just off the lido. A gentleman’s scent. The word that keeps coming up in other reviews here is “intoxicating,” and I couldn’t agree more. What at first came off to my nose as nothing special has become something I crave. I keep coming back to it in the hot summer months, or the mid Spring when I’m yearning for July to come. And it’s simply unbeatable for the price. Moderate to excellent projection, it isn’t going to overwhelm, but it’s noticeable for hours, and has gotten me many compliments. The longevity is excellent. This is simply more elegant than Fierce or it’s like. And elegance is the mood I simply can’t get away from feeling when I wear this. It is, in every way, a better scent than many give it credit for. Well worth the $20 or so it will cost, even on Amazon. A year round versatile emerald green gem that is as at place at the gym as it is in formal attire with a martini, or a spritz on hand. It blossoms in the high heat of summer, and tantalizes in the cool evening hours. Mature and masculine, but not old and stodgy. Classy and nostalgic, but not dated. Elegant, but also playful. You could be almost anywhere and do anything with this scent and be memorable, but not loud. Worthy of your collection.

I really do enjoy all in this family of fragrance. This being one of my favorite of fierce/legend. With a bit more fruits it makes this a little bit more playful. There are a lot of cheapies in this realm of fragrance and I don’t really see anyone not liking it. If you have others in the family it is not redundant as I said the fruits I get off it makes it a little unique. Great for all year, office safe. Caught this on a lightning deal on Amazon for $17 so I’m ecstatic with the value. As always fragrance family get it as cheap as possible because it’s just smelly water.

@rmathis1973 nailed it—it definitely has something intoxicating about it. The overall sensation is that of a sexy shower gel. Vetiver isn’t prominent here. The resemblance to Fierce is noticeable, but it’s not immediate—which is a good thing. You won’t smell like a department store. This isn’t an elegant scent; it’s very casual—fresh and clean. Perfect for the gym, running errands, or hanging out with friends on summer nights. Basically, it serves the same purpose as Versace Dylan Blue: a true Swiss Army knife of a fragrance. For the price, it’s a no-brainer.

A pleasant throwback to the 2000s. Close to A&F Fierce, but if it were an EDP with a softer dry down. The performance is great for the price. You're getting moderate to good projection for the first few hours, followed by a gentle herbal green bubble. Underneath it all, you can distinguish the woody, mossy, and powdery undertones. Compared to Fierce, it's a smoother ride with better mileage. It's masculine and it's nostalgic. Arguably, it's timeless because it rarely fails to impress those around me.

To my nose this smells a lot like Mahir Legacy (clone of PDM Sedley) but Venetian is better. It's a very refreshing and energetic scent. I finished working and I sprayed myself around 10 mins before leaving my office cause I had an appointment; and when I got into the elevator, two chicks said I smelled awesome; to me that's enough to be a really good scent.

A tightly wound, almost bitter citrus-green with (to my nose) nothing sweet or fun about it, which I like. Very interesting...not particularly classy but takes itself pretty seriously. Also reminds me a bit of my favorite Axe, "Harmony." Should shine best in warm to hot weather. Get it. You won't smell like anyone else but you'll smell good.

Holy smokes, this is an underground banger. Sweeter version of the fierce DNA with almost a vanillic note in the drydown and nuclear performance. Bonkers for the price not sure why tiktok hasn't picked this up.

Thankfully, the reviews are correct! Strong-performing and Fierce-adjacent. The scent is lovely and masculine. A hidden gem, especially at this price.

Definitely in the Fierce wheel house. Greener take here however but still retains the base DNA. Decent performance projection and sillage. There is something in the mid of this that is very intoxicating almost aphrodisiacal. Maybe it is the musk. That portion of the scent doesn't laste that long to my nose but is addictive for sure. Reminds me a lot of Kaaf by Ahmed Al Maghribi but a bit more mature and more readily available and cheaper. Both are great options if you are looking for this type of DNA. Kaaf extrait lasts longer and retains a more similar Fierce DNA through the whole wear but I honestly think I prefer Venetian

For the first 15 to 20 minutes, it has a slightly acidic note that I don't particularly like; however, it softens afterward, and the other notes become more prominent. It's quite green and pleasant, and while some describe it as very casual or sporty, I don't entirely agree. There's something about it that makes it seem a bit more formal than Fierce or Legend. It smells like something a man over 21 would wear to the office or a semi-formal outing with a white shirt: very masculine with a slight vintage touch. It shines in warm weather, providing a fresh, woody-green scent with a light, earthy, and inviting feel.

This is a fantastic scent for the price, imagine if A&F fierce was an EDP and here you go. I get around 6-7 hours and big projection the first 2 and half hours. Best part is just how cheap you can find this fragrance online or in discounters. Forgot to mention that this fragrance has been one of the ones that’s gotten me most compliments.

Vetiver and Oakmoss dominant scent with no hint of cardamom and musk, the citrus and floral notes are very low. This is a cheap scent for vetiver lovers. Could be interesting with more potent citrus and floral notes. Lasts 3 hours on my skin , on clothes longevity will be more, doesn't project after 1 hour. Scent 7/10 Sillage 6/10 longevity 6/10 Value 7/10 .

This is compared to Fierce, which at first I didn’t get but now I do for sure. It’s like Fierce if it were lighter and a little fruity maybe? Hard to describe, but it’s definitely similar especially after you realize it. It is pleasant though. I do like Fierce, it’s a great scent, but just way too overused and I never reach for it due to that, as well as the younger age category on that one for sure at this point in its existence. Just can’t see it as a mature fragrance at this point. The one good thing about Venetian, you won’t smell JUST like the 50 yards before and 50 after the A&F store in the mall. You know the place, it’s in every mall in America.
