Jewel Avri

Meh. It’s nice but does nothing for me. I’m going to let her stew in the pot a bit longer. It’s nice, but I’m trying to decide whether or not it’s nice for *me*. Honestly, I can’t remember what it smells like, just that it was “ nice” but “ meh”. If a scent doesn’t have me do a double take, it’s usually not for me, but we shall see by July. I’ll let her cook till then. Edit: So, I forgot to go and check on it but interestingly enough, I recently smelled Dama Bianca and immediately was wowed. I also have Fayora and SDJ Cheirosa 40 which are both supposed to have similar dna to Dama Bianca and I ended up really liking them. I’ll check Jewel Avri again soon and do a final review edit. It’s almost the end of September so it should be well “ macerated “ from the time I made this post in April,by now. Edit2: Ok, so this was part of my night time routine and I like it much more than I did before, but if I had to choose between Fayora and Avri, I would go with Fayora. Jewel Avri is missing *something* I can’t quite put my nose on and it’s like a cousin to Fayora that is less complex. Layers incredibly with Donna Born In Roma and/or B&BWs Pink Obsessed.

Out of the 15ml trio set, this one is my favorite. I can smell the raspberry and lychee on first spray, then faintly the mandarin on the 2nd spray. The dry down is powdered-powered heaven. I won't speak to the middle and base notes; just know all came together to round out the fruitiness into something soft, but still beast mode enough to last all day. This one has about 2-3 weeks left, so I will be purchasing my first full-sized bottle soon.

This does smell really good. Its very sweet and girly. I just wish it was a little stronger and lasted longer.

Wear-tested from a well-rested and matured 5ml decant. Immediately upon spraying, I knew it was similar to something in my collection. After a few hours, I found it: Junoon Noir (inspired by Dama Bianca). Side-by-side they are very similar, with Jewel being maybe fruitier and lighter. Jewel is very long-lasting and produces steady but not-overwhelming wafts. Perfect performance for me, at a great price-point (remember to search for influencer 10% discount codes on YT). Would have been a purchase if I hadn’t already owned Junoon Noir.

Light sweet fluffy orange blossom and marshmallow, kind of like a light airy version of Love Don't be Shy but with a slightly more fruity citrusy quality. Sits close to the skin, very girly and feminine fragrance.
