Geisha Marron Roll-On Perfume Oil

I love this I wear it with Blue from the same line I love it by itself It opens fresh and spicy. I love it. I get the magnolia and then the lily of the valley Wears at least 4 hours on me.

initial: creamy magnolia, a warm honeyed sweetness, very clean, something fruity – not the glorious messy sort but just a bit juicy and sparkling. reminds me of night creams, shampoo – it's very clean and gentle. as it settles i think i do get the chestnut though i'm not sure i'd pin it as chestnuts if i hadn't looked at the notes. it gets this very toasted, faintly spicy and nutty quality to it, though definitely doesn't go gourmand. the sweetness starts to fade but the roasted nutty element stays, as does the clean cold cream vibe. there's this translucent watery facet always running in the background too. one hour later and there's definitely chestnut, but like the pastry filling kind! still the florals keep both a creamy and slightly watery profile and restrain the scent from going into gourmand territory. sillage sits close to the skin after about 15 minutes, not sure yet on longevity but i have a feeling it might linger (though very quietly) for a while. all in all not something i'd reach for to wear for myself but it's really lovely, non-offensive and comforting, autumnal through and through! edit: it really did last for ages, and the sillage may have been better than i thought as well as i could smell it on myself when i was shifting around trying to sleep!

This is a beautiful, elegant, sexy and rich yet not overpowering white floral scent. I don't get the scent of chestnut much either (as Ineza pointed out), but it does have something a little nutty about it lol, and it also smells slightly like the chestnut flowers at the end of the summer when you walk under a chestnut tree. I love how the scent lingers on my skin, as it smells so much more "voluptuous" on my skin than the whiff I get from the bottle. Makes me think of being wrapped in luxurious, lustrous ivory-coloured satin sheets. The SA said this scent smells quite differently depending on the wearer. The best compliment I got so far is "wow, you smell expensive!" lol!!

very nice fragrance (my review is for the EdP). The first hour it is a bit strong (for my taste) but the dry-down is really good. Tender in some way. I don't get much chestnut, but that might be personal. I think that those who love geisha pink will love this one as well, it has the same vibe.
