De Rosa

Very unisex rose perfume supported by earthy pepper and resins, with bits of citrus top notes. As it warms up it’s more earth and resinous for me. The citrus, almond and rose really play well together bringing brightness to the resinous base.

I just got my first order from Aromas de Salazar, and de Rosa was one of the fragrances I was most excited to try! It's a very unisex to masculine leaning rose fragrance, but the rose really does shine through. There's a woodiness to it that's just gorgeous, I had wondered if maybe there was some oud in there but it must be the patchouli playing with the myrrh giving that resinous woody note. The citrus top notes to me aren't strong enough to actually pick out citrus as a scent but they brighten everything up a little and keep it from being too heavy. The pepper is also a nice bright pop of spice. All together I think it's a really gorgeous scent and for hand crafted niche fragrances I think these are really reasonably priced. If you're curious and like the idea of wearing fragrances that nobody else around you will have on, I would highly recommend checking them out!

This is what I would consider a soliflor rose. It's basically building off of the rose note and not deviating too far from that. So if you want a simple, natural smelling rose dominant perfume this is a great one. It also layers really well with several other AdeS perfumes. I add it to Cafe Fiesta and island tobacco on occasion, and it really shines. It actually reminds me of Zaharoff Signature Rose but I like it better.

This is one of the more tolerable offferings from Aromas de Salazar, but De Rosa seems more like a modular grouping of perfumer bases, which may explain why it smells half way decent. Rose is one of my favorite notes, but here, it just smells like a ton Rose Givco base with other materials such as vanillin, that give the composition an overall feel of the rose-scented Tickle deodorant my Mom used back in the 80s.

a red rose is peeking out of a very cool night musk. leans masculine, gave away to a coworker and was amazed as he walked by one day wearing it how nicely it wore with his chemistry. if you enjoy a true red rose and like your perfume to have a beast mode punch, this will do you proper as it is long lasting, fresh, and has excellent silage.
