Island Tobacco

This is a unique sweet, tropical tobacco. I want to compare it to Herod but you would never confuse the two. But they are both unisex sweet tobacco fragrances, Island Tobacco has more fruit though, and I think it's got much more character than Herod. Herod is pretty well blended so you can't really pick out many of the notes, but island tobacco actually has some identifiable fruits and flowers, which I prefer. Even though it's a tropical scent I think it's fine in any season. A great every day fragrance.

Guava and tropical forward, almost giving a tiki cocktail nose, or if you want to be less charitable something like a tropical mix bag of skittles. I’m having a bit of trouble finding the tobacco in this, on the first few hours of wear I’m getting those same tropicals with a bit ambergris as the base. Tobacco can sometimes have a raisin-like note, which is what I think blends it into the first few hours of wear. After about 4 hours and some exercise, the tobacco and woods are starting to peak out a bit more. But they are fair more of a skin scent than I would have expected given how powerful the opening was. Interesting perfume, very tropical, I would say a crowd pleaser if I didn’t see some of the other reviews. So maybe this is one that hits people’s noses and skin very differently. It’s not my favorite from this house but thankfully I’m not getting a buffet smell from it as another has mentioned.

This one starts off fresh and fruity and evolves into a blissfully sweet tobacco fragrance. Each time I wear it I pick up something new and it wears different depending on the temperature. For that reason, I feel like you can wear this in any season and enjoy it.

In my opinion this one is similar to / has same beautiful tobacco note as Navitus Parfums Exalt Nuit (created by Francis Kurkdjian and Jerome di Marino). Exalt Nuit has better longevity and projection. Also, Island Tobacco is $175 for 50 ml and Exalt Nuit is $195 for 100 ml.

Imagine yourself at the end of an international lunch buffet, and there is some left over jalapeño poppers, lasagna, sushi, kebabs, mac n cheese, chocolate mousse, cheesecake, and orange juice. Now put all these leftovers in a big bag, shake it well, then voila, dinner is served! This is what this fragrance is about. Absolutely horrendous

This is just odd. This just smells like a hodge podge of notes were poured into a dirty bucket and stirred with a broken stick. Unfortunately making Kool aid doesn't mean you're a chemist, this feels like ameture hour. Luckily, longevity is not good so that was a plus. Hard pass

Not for women, just for men. The only top notes that heavily present themselves are the lime, guava, and bergamot. Those notes mixing with the tobacco screams pinesol or a scented cleaning product to me. There’s also a spice when initially spraying it that I assume may be coming from the pink pepper (almost sneezed). There’s also a strange sauce or savory background once this scent dries down. I could only imagine a man would wear this because it would smell different with a males body chemistry than a women. Leather is also picked up although not listed as a note. About 45 minutes into the dry down it smells like an Indian head car freshener that’s been sitting for some time. - Heavily spice induced (not in a good way in a red pepper hot sauce type of way). - Lime and bergamot note smell like pinesol. - Smells like chewed juicy fruit gum in the dry down - Wanted to wash off skin about an hour into wearing it. - Similar to a fruity floor cleaner or detergent. - Warm element to this scent that makes it uncomfortable to the nose - Tabacco smells green. - Coconut note is non detectable. - Lasts on fabric and skin 6+ hours. - Smells similar to an Indian head car freshener.

Lol I’m laughing at the harsh review a few below me. Perfume is preferential and smells different to everybody just as food can taste so different to different tastebuds. Even though this fragrance leaned a little masculine and the ambergris pushed it a little aquatic fruity, my male friend wears this and smells so good. Not every fragrance is meant for everyone’s chemistry and for me this just didn’t fly, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work well for someone else. It does smell beachy, but I would say it’s more aquatic musky and has a fruity cocktail vibe going through it. Maybe like making a tiki cocktail in the pad of a single rich guy living in LA.
