Gin and Tonic Cologne

#1778 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this decant from scentsplit.com. When I first started this journey I did’t know better than to waste my money on fraiche, colognes and EDTs. I owned every Kenneth Cole scent then on the market (In those days I wore Kenneth Cole shoes, went to work with a Kenneth Cole bag. I was a fanboy). I liked most all the Kenneth Cole scents, but they were watered down and so performed such that I gave them all away. But there was onE of the Cole freshies that I thought would have been great summer wear had it been more long lasting: “Mankind Ultimate.” That scent came off very aquatic and fresh thanks to the cucumber, and this Art de Parfum is basically a bit stronger, greener and more lasting version of that scent. I really enjoy it. But do I enjoy it enough to pay $175 for 50ml? I could just get seven $25 bottles of Mankind Ultimate and just bathe in it, keeping one in the bath, one in the car, one in the gym and reapply as needed. And Dua Brands has their extrait concentration “Gin & Tonic” clone for $33. Demeter “Gin & Tonic" cologne is $25 for 4oz. So probably no to spending $175 for this. Good Luck and Good Hunting!

A sparkling summery woody fragrance, with notes of bitter citruses and herbs. The distinctiveness of juniper really helps it to push it in the direction of a "GT". Because it's not a hyperrealistic Gin & Tonic for sure, but I get the idea all the same. It has all the right components, and it makes for a lovely summertime fragrance. If you are a Gin & Tonic connoisseur as myself - you probably gonna love it! And no - you're not gonna smell like a drunken Londoner.

Perfect summer scent, a masterpiece. I love Juniper Sling, but always longed for it to last. Gin & Tonic is not beast mode but does offer better longevity and added crispy green, a tad earthy vetiver balances the sparkliness of juniper and citruses so well. So I ended up preferring this over JS. Dry down stage makes me think of JS crossed with Infusion Vetiver by Prada. And you arrive at Gin & Tonic here. Perfectly unisex. A joy to wear.

Absolutely stunning! If you like gin&tonic drink, look no further. This is like taking shower in Schweppes original soda, bitter and refreshing. I can litreally feel the drops running down my body. It does smell gin (because of the Juniper berries) but it not alcoholic smelling. It is a MUCH better unisex version of Frain L'eau humaniste (which leans masculine). This comes in an extrait de pafum version. Try Before you buy.

A serious pick-me-up, great during summer. Not the best when hung over, as this is acute gin and tonic realness. :) Feels like that glorious first sip on a hot afternoon. It lasts surprisingly long for a citrus scent – two sprays easily lasts all day for me. It's tart, bitter, and refreshing and evolves into a slightly sweeter and muskier version of itself within an hour.
