Sea Foam

A gorgeous gender neutral aquatic. I love the opening, but it fades way too fast. If this lasted and had some strength it would be an instant summer buy for me. Classy as heck. 8.5/10

When I first tried Sea Foam, I thought of summer. How very wrong I was. Sea Foam is not your regular sunny, citrusy, happy aquatic – there's not a trace of the Mediterranean Sea in sight. This is the scent of the Atlantic Ocean or the North Sea. A vast, dark and cold mass of water with waves as high as houses. Cold, salty, wild. There are no fishy undertones, but a whole lot of that briny, lovely scent that waves have in the North. It reminds me of boating to work on a windy day, and the scent of my ocean-soaked hair afterwards. I'd like to snuggle up to any man wearing Sea Foam, and in the meantime, I'll wear it whenever I need to feel like a sexy sailor.

This is a like from me, fresh, no sweetness which I prefer, a unique light woody marine aquatic, kind of hard to describe. Instantly reminded me of By Kilian - Vodka on the rocks, in fact very close but milder and easier to wear. As others have mentioned the scent profile is more driftwood by the sea. So if your after that citrusy green aquatic this might not be for you. If you like scents like, Heeley Sel marin and Aqua di Sale this one could be worth checking out also.

This is very nice, something I would normally love with a passion with the aquatic, seasalt, citrus and fig notes. I guess the only thing missing is the intensity; it's gone in a moment, and even the scent that is there, although divine, just far too low key. Fresh citrus opening, dries to a woody aquatic fragrance. Nothing unique but a well done Blue. If you want a summer fragrance from this house Gin & Tonic is levels above this one.

I've been looking for a good aquatic for a long time, but somehow I've never managed to find one I love. I wasn't hopeful about this one, because my only other experience with this brand was Excentrique Moi, which was a horrible disappointment. On first spray, I got a blast of harsh citrus and pepper that had me thinking: here we go again... thankfully that settled quickly, allowing the sea notes, vetiver and seaweed to peek through. 'Kind of nice', I thought, 'but this isn't going to be a keeper.' But an hour in, and I can't stop sniffing my wrist. I'm getting the tiniest hint of salt, woods bleached by the sun, and a gorgeous waft of gentle fig and seaweed. It wears close to the skin and has far less longevity than stablemate Excentrique Moi - oh, that it were the other way around! But it's divine, both calming and sensual, and I might just have found my aquatic at last.

It's okay, but not the scent I was looking for. I get a lightly salty, minty edge marine. Very much in the character of the seawater scents I’ve been sampling for years now, in that it's a salted wood with mineral aspects, but nicely done. Dry down is more of a salted driftwood feel, with darker elements superceding the lighter aromatics. I like it, but it’s a lot more wood than I’m looking for: I want more salt water and fewer base notes.

Essentially the marine off-smell of calone cleansed by smokey, woody and camphorous notes. Minimal sweetness, not much tartness. It becomes more generic blue as time passes, settling into a showergel-like undertone. Enjoyable but not unique, there are much more memorable marine scents in this style like Heeley Sel Marin, but also much more wearable and fresh iterations like l'Artisan Un Air de Bretagne.

Makes me think of that Seinfeld episode where Kramer made that ocean-scented fragrance and Calvin Klein stole his idea haha

Just wow and I normally don't do aquatics, but this fragrance would be perfect on a 95 degree day. Summer here I come.
